It’s in a dodgy area and in need of some renovation not worth going out of your way to see the walk of fame or Chinese theatre

A fun place where you can go around seeing who you might find. A lot of shops and things you can do around the theater as well as restaurants to eat at.

Good experience, just be careful of the characters that are there for a photo, they are very incisive and annoying, the footprints in cement of the artists are very cool

The Hollywood Chinese Theater was a memorable venue on my trip to Los Angeles. This historic cinema combines a strong Hollywood movie atmosphere. My visit was full of admiration for film art and rich culture.First of all, the appearance of this cinema exudes a strong artistic atmosphere. Decorated with classic blue and gold lights, the entire building exudes a sense of luxury. The huge movie sign is shining with colorful neon lights, adding a lot of color to the entire area, making people feel the unique charm of Hollywood.Secondly, walking inside the theater, I was shocked by its luxurious interior decoration. The splendid chandeliers and elegant decoration make you feel like you are in a time tunnel. The comfortable seats and advanced audio equipment provided the ultimate enjoyment for watching movies, making me more deeply involved in the plot of the movie. What impressed me the most was that this cinema played many classic Hollywood movies, giving me the opportunity to enjoy some legendary works on the big screen. This made me feel that the Chinese Theater in Hollywood is not only a place, but also a palace that pays tribute to the art of film.Overall, the Hollywood Chinese Theater is an unforgettable place. Here, I not only feel the charm of Hollywood movies, but also experience the rich cultural heritage. This tour opened the door to cinema for me and made me love and appreciate this art even more.

In Korea, it is famous for the autographs of actors Lee Byung-hun and Ahn Sung-ki. You can find the sign if you enter from the far left side when looking at the entrance. In addition, there were handprints and autographs of famous actors, so it was fun to find your favorite actor. There was also a Donald Duck footprint (handprint?) that was cute. I didn't go inside the theater. It seemed like everyone was just taking pictures outside.

Historical building, a must if you visit LA.It is still active, but you can tell it's already old and needs maintenance. The surrounding area is full of tourists.

Great popcorn. Sound was too loud. Couldn't hear the dialogue. Weird reclining seats. Someone kept kicking my chair. But that's not the theatre's fault. I had a good time.

It’s very beautiful inside. It’s recommended to choose the VIP guided tour. You can go in and take photos. If you have time, you can actually consider buying tickets to go in and watch the movie.

Beautiful theater with decent concessions. It is a touristic spot and albeit annoying it's usually no problem to get into the cinema, but I try to avoid screenings on weekends or daytime as you can imagine tourists visiting LA are just insufferable. However, the experience at the Chinese was overall positive but I can only give it two stars because the projections are hit or miss. I saw Avatar on Imax here and it was a wonderful experience but I just saw Oppenheimer on Imax 70mm and the entire movie had an insane amount of flickering (due to projector not being correctly synced with the print) plus the print was slightly dirty. I can only give two stars because you should expect a theater in the center of Hollywood with a 70mm projector to offer state of the art screenings and have the best projectionists on staff. Also, I don't find the seats particularly comfortable here, they recline a lot and very easily so it kind of forces you to lay back while you pull your head up to watch the movie. I hope they implement some improvements or I will start going to a more modern theater for imax screenings.

This is a very cool theater. We did the $10 tour and I learned a lot about the history of the theater as well as get to watch some trailers on the screen. The tour guide was great and was really engaging and personable. I highly recommend stopping in for a tour or viewing.
