About Stanislaus Wildlife Care Center
Stanislaus Wildlife Care Center is a place that rescues and cares for wild animals in need. People bring in many animals found in dangerous situations, including fledgling hummingbirds, hawks near traffic, baby birds, and opossums. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and informative. They check in each animal and provide a number so people can call to follow up on the animal's progress and status. The goal is to care for the animals and return them to their natural habitat. It is meaningful work and a nice place to know exists for wildlife rescue.

Care and welcome wildlife! I had a baby squirrel that fell out of a tree and they happily took him and gave me a number to call and check on him.

They do a fantastic job. They're a great resource also if you have questions about native species on your property. They have a plethora of information that I have utilized in the past. We're building a wildlife habitat on a property mainly for birds and butterflies but we've had the occasional raccoon.

They are very kind. I found a baby bird and they saved its life. When I called to check on it, it was thriving.
