The BEST option in the area for friendly staff, clean rooms and budget pricing. I will be staying again and again.

Took my mom on a whim to Cali, stayed here. GREAT PLACE when you need the basics, AC, tv, mini fridge, and GREAT customer service. I left my squishmellows in the room too and went back 20 mins later and the owner had him off to the side for me. Very sweet and understanding owners. 10/10 do it again. Oh and the room was $135 and only 8 mins away from the beach.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the Huntington Beach area! The staff and owners were so kind and caring and accommodating to our needs during our stay. I had reservations for (2) rooms, (1) for (2) nights, and (1) for (1) night. They helped me getting checked in and finalized the room for the (1) night to make it easier and quicker to check out to not hold us up in the morning. Perfect! The rooms were immaculate and clean as well as the bathroom. Great location to everything! Friendly, kind, helpful, clean, and super affordable! Best part, the room was dead quite! I was really expecting to hear vehicle traffic and the guests in all the rooms keeping me awake. Nope! Super quite and amazing sleep! Highly recommend this hotel! If you want to enjoy everything the Huntington Beach area and the ocean or Disneyland have to offer, this hotel is the perfect place to stay

(LONG) Let's start out by calling this hotel rustic which is actually very cool, AND incredibly clean. My room was absolutely spotless. I stayed for 2 nights The Asian woman that runs/owns it is absolutely wonderful and very attentive. I really doubt she has a political motive by setting the TV channel to come on Fox News. When you meet her you will know right away the stupidity of those comments Seriously how pathetic is your life that you can't simply push 2, like I did, when the TV comes on and pull up the guide, or pull up the guide and start at 2. Then you trash/write a Michener novel about the place over what channel comes on the TV.. REALLY!!! OMG how sad is that???? The "Tin Hat" paranoia is strong with that one, but it did give me a good laugh. Pretty darn impressed actually. I am an auto detailer by profession and know what clean is making a very successful living at it. I know where to look for missed dirt and bugs, and there were NONE, ZIP, ZERO!!! Her cleaning lady/team and I think it is one person is absolutely awesome. To be honest I was so impressed I left a GIANT cash tip. I truly appreciate the effort one puts in to clean up a room. I had neighbors but you would never know it. I believe a certain level of clientele comes here that respects the rights of others and are quiet. I volunteer at a car show every month, and drive down from Silicon Valley. The show is right on Huntington Beach and this has now become my hotel to stay at while I work that show. When I look at the one star reviews I just have to laugh, really "imminent danger," OMG that is hilarious, it is located in a great very safe place. One guy was $8 bux short on the cost, OK, but as a small business owner I get this nonsense everyday. Maybe it was genuine but maybe not. If I buckled to every person that came into my business short of what I charge I would be out of business. Out of all the hotels in Orange County and the local area he picks on this one to complain about... REALLY!!!! BOTTOM LINE: I consider this a hidden gem and highly recommend it..|I will be staying here when I come down for my car show every month.

Perfect for what I needed this place for. I was in town for the Surf City Marathon in Huntington Beach. I live over 60 miles away in the San Fernando valley. The event takes place over the weekend so it made sense to stay a night here rather than deal with LA freeway traffic 2 days in a row. This place may look a little older and dated than a standard motel 6, but considering the price ($85) when a lot of other places in the city were charging double due to a lot more visitors in town for the race it wasn't a bad deal. The lady at the front desk was nice and helpful. The room has a flatscreen TV with cable, and a mini fridge. Besides being a little old with a few rust spots, the bathroom was acceptable. Overall I was happy with this place since it was fairly priced on a busy weekend, and it was only 10 minute from where I needed to be early in the morning Sunday.

Not bad at all! I had to move out from my apartment for a few days while the ceilings in my apartment were being torn out and replaced. This place was clean and well-kempt and smelled fresh, the bed was made everyday and linen was comfortable and towels always new and fresh. The A/C worked great. There was a little fridge there as well. The TV was nice. The lady in the front office couldn't have been more cool and friendly. Nice location, plenty of food places around including an In-N-Out Burger right next door. Of course there is a lot of annoying traffic on Beach Blvd. Where my room was though I didn't hear it. For what they charge you'd be very hard-pressed to find anything better. As for the person who gave one star and complained about the TV always being set to Fox News are you kidding me?? I found there were plenty of stations from which to choose including CNN if that's your thing. Geez. Get a life. Keeping everything in perspective for a one star motel I'd say this is five stars.

The motel is basic and I guess you get what you pay for in that respect. However you have to have a strong stomach for garbage each day you turn on the TV. The TV is set to come on at the Fox News station. Since I plan on staying for four days, I found Settings, and reset the "Power-On Station" to TMC. I like old movies, and don't particularly like partisan political garbage. I turned the TV off, turned it back on, and TMC comes on. Next morning, it still turns on to TMC. However, after the housekeepers have come and gone, the power-on channel is back at Fox Spews. So I went to settings again and changed it back to TMC. Checked it, the TV comes on at TMC. Checked the next morning, the TV comes on at TMC. This time, I put the "do not disturb" sign out, and no housekeeper comes to the unit. However, when I return in the afternoon, the TV powers on to Faux News again. Now, this is channel 168 or something, so it's not a natural choice. This is set by management. An overt decision to send racist, sexist, misogynistic, malign, highly partisan, incredibly divisive nastiness to each and every motel room, each and every day. So be warned. The management of this motel would prefer to send their political message out than have guests. Flaunting their politics is more important to them than the guest experience is.
