The banker didn't display all important information when I opened the CD account. She didn't tell me that my CD account will roll over next year with 3% flat rate if I don't renew the account or close it within 7 days after the account reach 12 months. I lost $530 when I closed it.

So I called and spoke with this branch today Citibank (Huntington Beach, CA ph#: 657-215-3463) at 1:05 pm today and it was a very big mistake because I spoke with a very arrogant manager that needs to be trained on proper customer service or terminated. He was rude. I wanted to inquire if I could cash my insurance check from Farmers which is issued by Citibank and he stated no, despite the check issuer being Citibank. When I asked him the reason he rudely answered but was using bank terms I was unfamiliar with which led to me asking additional questions in which he became agitated and upset stating "I'm not going to argue with you". I was shocked on how he said it and how quickly he became verbally aggressive based on one question because my intention was not to argue nor did I expect him to become upset. I did not expect such hostility for asking questions or clarifications. I should've just physically went to the branch and would like to see him talk to me that way in person because I highly doubt he would!!!!!

This is one of the better banks to use. Employees still have positive attitudes. The explanation of offers they have, are friendly, and kind. I recently moved my money into this bank. How they treat their customers is far and above where I had my accounts before.

The atm has taken my deposit money on two occasions and then hit me with an error message, eating my money. As a result I will have a 100$ late fee with my rent payment. How is this problem not fixed now? Now I have to coordinate with my work in order to come by during business hours in order to have my account credited. This happened 6 months ago and it happened tonight. Insane

Found out from another branch that they are unable to open their ATM, someone who assigned to work the ATM stops by to pickup weekly. It is not the same as years back where branches representative take the ATM deposits in to process manually, she were right about that. But the way she manage the call and situation would've been better.

When I first opened up a checking account here, I had no issues with them. It wasn't until I had some fraudulent activity that they started being very weird with me! It made me feel like I had something to do with it and I proved to them and their research told them I didn't! What basically ended up happening is they closed my account on me! They just sent me a letter saying they were going to be closing my account at the end of that month and if I have any direct deposits going in there, I need to find another source where my direct deposit can go. Everyone knows it takes a while to establish one especially in a new bank account so I had very little time to set a new account! It all worked out for me in the end but it was very inconvenient!! Talk about poor customer service.......

I had a bad customer service in this bank today with one of their employee name Keily. This girl was straight up rude! She made all kind of funny faces under the mask she's wearing, unprofessional. On top of this, I requested to get a withdraw from my bank account and this girl went ahead made a payment on my bank account, which was not what I requested. Did not apologize, standing there making funny faces and Keily said she'll just get her manager to reserve it. Poor experience, don't get service by this girl

If I could give the Customer Service a -5 Star I would. I have never had such a horrible experience with a bank than I have with Citibank. I have been dealing with an issue for over 2 months now that the bank fully refuses to accept responsibility in and I am paying the consequences. On February 25 a charge went on my account putting me in a negative by hundreds of dollars, I didn't authorize the charge, and it showed as an transaction, not a PENDING transaction. When I called the bank the very next day to dispute the charge, the representative did NOT inform me that the charge would fall off my account, which had I know, I would of not disputed the charge. However, they let me do the dispute and gave me a temporary credit. Two days later, they recharged my account the same amount again, I called a second time to disputer it. Again the representative did NOT inform me this was a PENDING charge and again, let me dispute the charge. Again, I was given a temporary credit. Now mind you, I did spend the money I had in the account because I was under no impression the disputes would get reversed. I had been told that the charges had been put onto my account and not reversed. If you look on my account today, the charges are still showing as debits. Then last week, the bank reversed my credit and is now charging me the money back. They claim that because they gave the credit and the original charge fell off the account, they are reversing my credits so I now have to pay the bank back for the money credited back to me. Now, I understand that this money should be paid back, however I wouldn't of disputed the charges initially had I been told that they were going to fall off my account that same day at midnight. I have spoken to 4 representatives and 2 different managers and all of them say the same thing. Yes, we made a mistake, but you still need to pay it back. How is it they make the mistake and I pay the consequences? Especially right now, I am on unpaid leave from my job and they are taking over $300 from my paycheck. This money has to last me until I go back to work, which I have no way of knowing when that will be. I just received a long letter from Citibank talking about how they are helping their customers through this crisis. I called today to ask if they could work with me on these charges. I half expected for them to at least try. They didn't even attempt to work with me, they just said "We can't help, the bank charges have to be paid back" You know there is a real state of panic going on right now, and if a customer is acknowledging a true need of help, it would be a nice if they could at least make an attempt instead of giving me a flat no. As soon as this is done, I am closing my account. I have never been treated so poorly by a bank and I am very disappointed.

We've been with Citibank for almost a decade. David and Omar are extremely helpful. They went above and beyond to help us with our business banking. A dedicated staff that is always happy to help.
