“If you're looking for a place to help your kids develop better wrestling skills this is the place or you can do what my family did. We brought our 16 year old son to develop better skills on the mat, then we found out our 5 year old daughter can practice with the little kids so she's now wrestling. Then my wife and I decided to get back into shape so we decided to join the classes as well in the adult group. The coaches are great at breaking down every move and explaining things in very and I mean very simple way. They make the kiddos enjoy every practice, this place is highly recommended. You won't regret it.”

I had my mom in different other day care programs but no one like the Alzheimer’s Family Center!!! They keep my mom active with different activities. “This place is so cool. Come hang with a cute snuggly kitty or take one home, it's your choice. I adopted this past weekend and couldn't have been happier. The staff helped me select the best fit for my family. My new cat ended up leaving with a cold and they gave me medicine and instructions on how to nurse her back to health. “So glad I found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. They were very accommodating after we requested Jake to be our daughters' instructor and both Alex and her brother Jake were able to fit my girls into his schedule during the summer. Both of my girls were fearful of the water, to the point where they would scream when water gets sprayed on their faces during a bath, so I thought it would take them a while to get used to swimming. To my surprise, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how they were able to jump into the pool on the first day of lesson, and even went underwater! I don't know what Jake did but it worked, and ever since then, they looked forward to swimming lessons every week. At the end of their 10th lesson, they were able to jump into the water, float, go under water, and even able to swim a couple of feet on their own. It's too bad Jump Start doesn't offer lessons year round, so we will wait until next summer to sign the girls up again. Also their prices are very reasonable compared to most places, and each lesson is 30 mins long, unlike most other places that only offer 20 mins. My girls have gone with almost all of the instructors there and they were all nice and friendly, they're great with kids so your kids are in good hands.”
“I sent 3 of my kids to this camp and it's amazing, they all love it. I wish I had a camp like that growing up. They have racing cars, ziplines, huge bouncy houses, game rooms, hammocks, and even water slides... I don't think that's even half of it.”

They have artwork as well for sale, beautiful. Everyone must go. I never want museums like this to go out of business. This museum is not just a museum. It has heart.”

I truly appreciate Jodi and Marta who  orchestrate this Artisan Fair …they are so accommodating to us vendors and go above me beyond to make this weekly event, phenomenal for both vendors and attendees.
There is always something for everyone, and the atmosphere made it easy to feel like part of the Surf City community.”
“My husband and I have now adopted 3 Westies from WROC in a span of 11 years. The people who run this charitable organization are the biggest hearted, most knowledgeable Westie experts around. So many of the dogs that they rescue have been traumatized and are in need of specialized care. Our now 15 yr old Westie had been torn to shreds by. Pit Bull when found. WROC rescued him and spent almost $3,000 rehabbing him. These dedicated, selfless people often wind up with 6 or more senior dogs that owners have abandoned due to age or health issues. They try hard to match each dog with a perfect home. Few are willing to do as much as WROC’s responsible leaders!”
