I have been at DRS for over five years now. I never felt ‘athletic’ before and I was super intimidated of CrossFit before I came to DRS. However, both the coaches and members were so kind and supportive, I decided to join after my 2 week free trial. I am not exaggerating when I say that this is a safe place for people of all levels and from all different walks of life. I have now had two babies and the coaches have helped me through both pregnancies and recoveries! I have made so many friends here and am so thankful that I found this community. I can’t recommend DRS enough!!! Please check it out if you are looking for a fun, encouraging, and positive environment!

Our son loves the cross kit kids class. He's learning proper technique for lifting weights at an early age and has a love for physical fitness. Coach Cheryl is amazing!

The best workouts ever - personalized for your individual goals and fitness level! I am NOT a crossfit person & just wanted to get into a fun fitness routine that would make me feel good. DRS is the perfect fit. The instructors are trained professionals able to modify any workout to match your specific needs. The atmosphere is fun, friendly and inclusive. The workout schedule is thoughtfully put together to help everyone advance, improve and develop in a logical progression. DRS has a family-friendly atmosphere where everyone is welcome. You will not find a better program anywhere.

My son started working out here when he was pretty young and it's really been great for a cross training and keeping him healthy. The coaches really work great with the kids and taylor workouts for what they need.

The best gym I’ve ever belonged to. Rosario and her staff of coaches are amazing! They are welcoming, caring, and most of all excellent in their instruction. I walked in unable to do anything, and 10 months later I have gained so much fitness and strength. Beginner to advanced athletes will all benefit from working out at DRS. I highly recommend!

We are a Navy family new to the area, so finding a home away from home was our top priority, and we found that and more at CrossFit DRS. From the moment we dropped in, we were warmly welcomed by Coach Rosario and Coach Cheryl with genuine love, care, and interest in our family's needs, not just in fitness but our overall well-being. Now, as members for over a year, DRS' programming is proven tried and true as my husband and I have both significantly grown in our fitness and in our friendships with the community too. DRS holds a special set of standards that encourages its members to move well and with purpose. The coaches are knowledgeable, well trained, and great role models of this and are always very encouraging to us members. Life will and has thrown some things at us that has caused us to readjust in how and what we can train, but the coaches at DRS have helped both my husband and me to accommodate our specific needs so that we can continue to be consistent. The equipment is well maintained, the facility is always clean and family friendly, with programs for everyone at any fitness level. We have nothing but love for this place and its people. CrossFit DRS Athletics is the gem of Huntington Beach.

DRS Athletics is an amazing place. It literally has changed the lives of everyone in our family. My wife, three daughters, and I are all regulars.As noted by many other reviews, the programming is fantastic. We have gotten stronger and faster and leaner. There are two other aspects that I would like to highlight.First, zero injuries.The focus is always on quality over quantity. Recently, I was doing an overhead squat with a very low weight. I asked the coach if I should go up in weight. The answer was, ‘not yet,’ not until quality is higher.Second, the amazing culture.The DRS community is very positive. On a recent afternoon, two of our daughters were working with Coach Rosario while a cross fit class was going on. The entire gym was rocking with shouts of encouragement to the people lifting. Saturday morning classes are particularly popular and fun. On some days, I want to go to DRS just to see the people.Thank you Coach Rosario and all DRS coaches for making our family healthier, fitter, and happier.

Just to update I continue to drive from La Habra now to DRS Athletics. DRS continues to grow and just last year added some self-defense classes which I love. I would recommend DRS KRAV MAGA to anyone ready to defend themselves and anyone around them.

More than just a gym. I started at DRS in November of 2021 with little to no experience in crossfit. I intended to try a few other places out before deciding to settle and just did a free trial here. Things did not go as planned...The community that this gym has curated with its coaches and members is unequivocally outstanding. As someone who came from having no gym experience, you could imagine I was pretty nervous at the start. However, all my nerves were settled once I met some of the wonderful coaches at DRS. I was met with such kindness and acceptance. Not once have I ever felt less than or out of place here. After being with DRS for over a year and half now, I still see improvement in myself after each class I attend. I have not only grown as an athlete but also as a person. DRS makes me a better human each and everyday. With science based training in Crossfit, weightlifting, Krav Maga and more, DRS athletics is unmatched. No matter the level of athlete, anyone is welcomed and challenged here to be the best version of themselves.

I've had a fair share of exploring different gyms, especially CrossFit affiliates. I have been with DRS for over a year now and I only wish we found them sooner. The first impressions alone stood out to me, very clean facility and friendly staff. Great community and coaches that make everyone feel welcome, regardless of their fitness level. Coach Rosario and her team keep the standards high and atmosphere fun and positive. No cliques but family friendly vibes. Just following their "secret sauce" programming has taken my fitness to the next level; improving technique, performance and strength gains. Well trained staff that provides the feedback and instruction needed in training and always patient to help. Overall great place that has equipped me to be ready for life's adventures and truly appreciate my skills and fitness earned.

I've been at DRS for 2 years for CrossFit and absolutely love it! I've recently added their Krav program to my membership and am enjoying it! I missed studying self defense and this program is the perfect match. You learn effective self defense skills in a fun and safe environment.

DRS Athletics has cultivated a truly outstanding community! The uplifting and supportive nature of this gym is unmatched from anything else I've experienced.I have been a member for a year and some change now and I never want to leave! From the CrossFit program to Krav Maga, I have developed confidence and strength as an athlete and a human overall, thanks to the coaches and other members that have now become what feels like a second family. There is something for everyone in the family and the Krav Maga Kids program is teaching our upcoming generations resilience, discipline, kindness, and some cool ninja-like moves! I guarantee anyone that is interested will feel just the same, no matter your fitness experience level or walk of life. Come play!!!
