I am still waiting for them to refund what they promised. I have emailed them several times asking for what was promised. They changed addresses without notice and it took forever for them to even send anything. These guys do not respond and are a complete joke. Be careful with trusting or doing business with this company.
The response below is only because I left this review. I was ignored and all I asked for was the money back I spent to reship, due to their lack of communication. There was no guide rod shipped to me and this review would not be left, but I was ignored. I would focus on better customer service, and please do not blame me for your not communicating changing your address, and forgetting to send what was promised.

Avoid this place it’s been a horrible experience with this company. I drop my slide off 20 weeks ago and still no answers to when my slide will be done. I’ve talk to the owner and he has expressed low staffing. I understand low staffing but we’re is the customer service here. I payed for my order in full expecting a slide after 16 weeks. It’s week 20 and no slide completed yet. Last week I was told my slide was gonna be ready this week. Since Monday I’ve been calling sending text to their live chat and I’m just getting ignored again. At this point I don’t know what to do I should have taken my business elsewhere. It’s disappointing that a review needs to be written in order to have someone reach out to me. I really expected more professionalism from this company. My experience has been horrible. I’ve miss multiple gun events due to lead times of this company. If you have 20 plus weeks to waste then this is your place.
This is week 23 can someone please from DWS call me please. I don’t understand why my slide is not return after week 23. You guys keep telling me next week it’ll be ready and nothing I get ignored no one answers my questions and another week goes by. This is a repetitive thing with you guys I getting ahold of you guys Tuesday nothing Wednesday nothing by Thursday Pedro will answer and say it’s getting finish it’ll be ready next week. I been told that the last month. Please can you just let me pick up slide already. THIS IS RIDICULOUS THAT A REVIEW NEEDS GO UP FOR AN UPDATE OR CALL BACK.

I came in to DWS about a month ago looking to get a slide cut and optic cut and black cerakote on my g19 slide. Pedro took care of it and the slide came out so bitchin. Yes there are lead times and it seems like people are having problems with the lead times. If you want quality work done, sometimes it’s not done in a day or two. But the work performed here is quality

Where to start. I had the same lead time issues that everyone else had but on top of that they milled too much material off the top of my slide and compromised my drop safety on my XD so I had been using a pistol without a drop safety for who knows how long. On top of that my gunsmith told me the cut was crooked AND because they made the cut without leaving slide material to support the rear of my optic, it was at risk for shearing the screws and flying off.
Absolutely criminally negligent and on top of that they treat their customers like trash unless you sing their praises.

If I could leave -5 stars, I would.
I placed an order for slide work and paid the deposit after going back and forth via email with their sales rep. After paying the invoice, I did some more research and found numerous negative reviews about the company. Concerned, I tried to cancel the order and asked for a refund.
That’s when they hit me with their “policy” that only 50% would be refunded, or I could opt for store credit to retain the full value. I chose the store credit and ordered a red dot sight that cost a few hundred dollars more, and—stupidly—I paid the difference, trusting they’d ship it out.
That was nearly 10 months ago.
Since then, I’ve sent countless emails and texts to Pedro (the owner), who gave excuse after excuse: moving, lost boxes, shipping delays—you name it. Now he doesn’t even bother responding at all.
This company is not trustworthy. I’m still out the money and the product. If you’re considering doing business with them, save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

Great places and just listen when they tell you the leadtine and if its gonna take awhile they're upfront. Most just don't listen and that's the issue
