Update 7/27/23Expect 10% rent raise every year !! Yes do the math ?Gas barbecues are not working for over year -non of them - no plan to fix it at all either - just show ( they threw on charcoal as fix)Utility bill that is shared is " solid 200$ a month - because we are paying for every light being on in building - and we don't get bill from Edison but thirty party companyThere is no lock at the lundry room and I see people from other building coming over to do lundry alot - so you will be paying for their water and electricity as well .DO NOT EXPECT TO PARK YOUR CAR OUTSIDE AT ALL AFTER 1 PM EVERY DAY - AND NEVER ON WEEKEND IF YOU GO OUT - PEOPLE NEVER LEAVE ON WEEKENDS KNOWING ITS CRAPY PARKING .Gardeners slowly but surely destroying the look of what is use to be beautiful place with flowers all over the 2 couth yards. They only distract you with front flower arrangements and because the manager never walks around to tell gardeners to plant something nice after they rip nice trees and bushes out. There were nice flowers around the fountain in second court yard now looks like he'll- same stuff in front of my windows.they cut bushes and trees down looks horrible and left empty stuff ,never bothered to plant anything - look around and pay attention. There is never ever manager available personally- I have seen her maybe 2 x in office in past since she was hired ( unless she walks new tenants around to show them place ) the other problem is when she is working at the office she rolls all the curtains down to look like she is not there - walking buy it looks closed ? wonder why ?! Don't wanna work the one day out of month you come in ?! Hmmm upper management please come and check it out yourself without telling her .

This is an apartment complex, not a hotel or motel. Just an apartment complex.

The manager in my prior posts no longer work here. Other than The previous manager, I have nothing bad to say about this place. We've made great relationships with everyone we lived by. We spent COVID here. Of course it was hard for a lot of people and not just us. Either way. Great location and a great place for anyone to call home, even with its little flaws. Wouldn't have lived here almost 6 years if it's wasn't worth it.

I am very picky when it comes to whom I lease with and where because it's like having a 1+ year relationship with someone. I also take note of landscaping to see if management keeps up with maintenance. It's not super fancy by any means but it is beautiful nonetheless. We wake up to birds singing at our window because there's sooooo many trees here, even they love living here. It's a full on garden/jungle. We moved in a year and a half ago and have not been disappointed. My dog has his besties and it's great that there are so many grassy areas for them to walk through. It's not just cement and pavement everywhere. The manager, Andi, is super responsive and she really does do her best to address our needs. It's a small community so apartments come available very rarely. If you do see one, do yourself a favor and grab it. We were just one of the lucky ones!

I have lived at Huntington Parkside for 11 years. I'm not one to stay in one spot for to long however Huntington Parkside and my apartment just simply became my home and there was no need to leave. I am now relocating up north so I wanted to take a moment and write a review. The biggest thing for me is that it is a dog friendly apartment complex with dog stations and paths to walk on. They allow a wide range of dogs from small to big. Being a big dog owner myself I need a complex that is accomodating to that. When I originally moved in it was between this and one other complex. I chose Huntington Parkside because the one bedroom I have on the ground level is very spacious and more than that I have a very large patio. Almost like a little yard for my dog, That is a necessity for me. The property manager, Andi is beyond nice and incredibly helpful and the maintenance gentleman, Marcus is incredibly nice as well and is knowledgeable in pretty much all of the areas needed in an apartment complex.

I have been here for 3 years and couldn't be happier. The landscaping is always kept up and is beautiful. Every time I call for something such as my bath tub clogged, from mine and my daughters hair, I get prompt service. The maintenance guy Marcos is so nice and courteous every time he comes. He's even helped me carry a mattress up the stairs to my apartment. And the manager Andi is top notch. She is always friendly and willing to help if you have an issue. I can't say enough about her and her managing of this building. We are so happy here and feel blessed we live here.

Andi would like to make you believe that I am unreasonable. Here's why I have been unhappy since I moved in: The apartment was not clean when we moved in. The painters painted over dried spaghetti, rice and nails in the kitchen and there was grime on the walls. The neighbors smoked so much weed when we moved in I started having asthma attacks and could not breathe, despite us keeping the windows shut all the time in an apartment that had no AC and was miserably hot. Andi told us she would talk to the neighbor but it was his right to smoke and she would let us break our lease and move if it was too severe. We could not afford to leave and it took months for the issue to go away on its own. Andi forgot to tell us there were special instructions for the bathroom, like not scrubbing the tub and not using a suction-cup shower mat. Because of this we have had to board our cats while they repair the damage while we were left wondering what we did wrong. Really, special instructions for appliances should be in writing. Andi has repeatedly said things to us about the other residents' that start with, "I shouldn't tell you this, but..." Including details about a neighbor's PTSD and information about a neighbor's kid getting along with bad people which were not asked for. The motorcycle issue was not resolved until I contacted HBPD about the noise violation. Andi did not fix the problem, but repeatedly responded to us with "Thank you for letting me know" and no assurance that any real work was being done to resolve the issue. Even if it was only us who were affected, this violated our lease agreement and we were sleep-deprived from the repeated noise problem. No, this place is not for us, which is why we are leaving. And I would challenge Andi to look at the lease agreement she wrote up for us which had the wrong move-in date that we ended up agreeing to anyway and the wrong lease term that I remember being crossed out and initialed by her to correct the mistake. I have lived in several apartments over the years and have never encountered this much disorganization. Good luck to potential residents. I hope your experience is better than ours.
