Mrs Adly is truly the best teacher you could trust to care for your child, and she really invests all of her heart and energy into each of her students. Although we had some bumps with our son's first toddler teacher, he transitioned to Mrs Adly's class and she brought out the best in him. He found confidence and independence through her methods, and we saw quick changes with his negative behaviors. We ultimately decided not to keep our son in LePort's program for the preschool years due to not feeling like it was the best setting for him moving forward, but I would still give 5 stars just for Mrs. Adly's and Mrs Water's hard work and dedication in helping our son thrive. Thank you guys for what you do.

Our oldest son started at LePort at 8months old in Mrs. Sheikhs infant class. Within a few weeks, he was pushing in his chair, wiping up after himself and developing fine and gross motor skills. At 18 months he transferred into Mrs. Adly's toddler class. He started showing interest in the potty at around a year-and-a-half and was fully potty trained by 2 years. They have nurtured independence and we are thrilled with the results. We have since enrolled our second son and he will be starting at 5months. Both our son's teachers implement their methods with extreme kindness while setting firm boundaries. Mostly importantly our boys go to school happy and they come home happy. They LOVE their teachers and so do we. Outside of their individual classrooms, the staff at LePort is phenomenal. Since day one we have felt very welcome and supported. We are thrilled with the school and would highly recommend it to any family considering Montessori methods.Jessica & Charles Johnson

My son has been in this school since he was 3 years old, and he is almost 12 years old now. He is a 6th grader now. Montessori method is wonderful because it has helped my son to understand so many concepts better such as Math and other Science subjects from another angle. He speaks with confidence about any subject . He respects other kids because his teachers at LePor have always promoted love and respect for each other. He respects nature because in this school, teachers emphasize the love for Mother Earth. He has had wonderful teachers along the way most of them dont work at the school anymore.LePort Harbor has a wonderful physical Education program which Mrs. Boatman is in charge of. She does a very good job with keeping the kids active and promoting good advices about healthy food choices. Mrs. Boatman is also in charge of a small farm area where she has chickens , ducks, bunnies and kids can go and feed the animals and care for them. In addition, the principal at LePort, Mrs Fatima Asghar has been wonderful all these years with our family helping us at every situation and challenge my son has presented with. We really acknowledge her hard work and management of the school. In the present, his teacher is Mrs. Elizabeth Peña. . Mrs. Peña really understands the needs of kids. She puts a lot of thought into how she presents her lessons. I don't have words to express how excellent Mrs Penña is as a teacher. She goes an extra mile for the kids. If I have any concerns about my son I feel free to communicate with her and she always gives me options and tries hard to find a solution. My son has learned about civil rights and history because Mrs. Peña makes him do research and then he makes presentations to his classmates. In the process of writing his research he has to apply the gramma and build sentences that will end up in paragraphs and eventually will end up in an essay. I remember the time when my son had to research Theodor Rosevelt he got into this project that he could not stop because as he said " Mom the life of Mr. Teddy is so interesting I cannot stop" ( his words.) So, I think part of a child enthusiasm toward a subject whatever it is has to do with child's personality and by who the teacher is and how she/he motivates your kid. My son also loves Math lessons. Now days, Mrs Peña has been teaching him the abstract way so that he gets ready for public school next year. Finally, my gratitude goes to Mrs Peña for her hard work and dedication to her students in particular to my son. I can say she is the kind of person that goes an extra mile for her students. My son Andres loves Mrs Peña. My husband and I go to work every morning knowing that our son is in good hands and the school environment is safe. Therefore, I will always be grateful to have enrolled my son at LePort all of these years. I'm also thankful for all the staff the works there including the administration.SincerelyYesenia Zendejas

Mrs. Gallo and Ms. Yoshioka are amazing! Our daughter has only been going one month but already she is almost totally toilet educated, knows her days of the week and months, is much more interactive and, most importantly, loves going to school!! She cried every day at her old day care but after a week at LePort she was done with all that. She is much more helpful now, wanting to clean dishes and clean up after herself, unprompted. This is a 2 year, 4 month old girl we are talking about and she is acting like a 3 year old from sub 2 just a month before. With respect to safety, the school has on staff a very competent and always watching security guard, access coded gates, check in, etc. The student to teacher ratio is very manageable and allows for a lot of interaction throughout the day. All staff are extremely polite and helpful. There are gardens, lots of grass and great playground. The classroom has so many excellent tools, puzzles, etc to learn from. Parking works well and I rarely have to wait in a line. Also, this is a school where the kids can grow into the elementary years without needing to find a new environment. Already, we fully intend for our daughter to stay as long as she can.Every morning, Mrs, Gallo makes extra effort to find out how our daughter is doing at home, provide thoughtful and instructional insights and often Mrs. Gallo will take the time to reach out via email as well. Every afternoon my wife talks to Ms. Yoshioka who goes out of her way to provide insightful feedback. We are both totally impressed with the level of attention and effort from this truly awesome team. This preschool environment is on another level. I am glad that we experienced the second best option so that we could compare because there really is no comparison. The Gallo / Yoshioka team is exactly what our little lady needed. I am excited to see what the next month brings! Thank you!!!

Our son has been attending Leport since June of this year. My husband and I called, visited, and attended a handful of school, we felt that Leport would be the best one. From the ease of the open house to the enrollment process and the communication that the Admin provided gave us so much confident that our son will definitely thrive there as a student. Our son loves the school, his classmates and more importantly his teacher, Mrs. Syed. She communicates really well and is really understand of each individual child. You can feel the love and patience that she pours into each of her students. Over the past 6 months, our son lights up when we talk about his class and Mrs. Syed. He loves all the activities and "work" time that they get. He has gained more confidence since he has started and we love seeing his grow into the Individual he is now. All the teachers and office team are all so kind and they pay attention to all the parents, they knows us all by names and they know our child's name as well. I definitely encourage any parents who is looking for a school that will teach your child confidence, social skills and communication to schedule a visit.

My daughter has been in Ms. Nava's Spanish immersion class and it has been the best decision we've made. Our goal was to choose a school where she would be challenged and exposed to many aspects of STEM at an early age. A few highlights:- Very nurturing environment for shy/reluctant children - Ms. Nava always makes herself available to parents and partners with us on helping our daughter excel - Celebration/education around a diverse set of holidays and cultural figures - Snacks and option for a paid hot meal service- On-site paid after schools activities such as Science, Soccer, Dance, Karate, etc- Secure campus

My son startled at LePort when he was 4 months. At first I was very anxious, being a first time mom and having to leave my child so young. Mrs. Sheikh completely took those nerves away! She is so loving and nurturing with the children, while also giving them the freedom to explore and discover their new capabilities. My son is always so happy to go to school and hardly ever cries when we say our goodbyes.Mrs. Sheikh is also very understanding when it comes to the parents and gives us tips on how to encourage our child's independence at home in a realistic manner. I'm so happy Mrs. Sheikh is my child's teacher and would not want it any other way.

My daughter has been enrolled at Le Port for the past 3 months and I am happy with our decision to enroll her here. I researched several daycares in the Long Beach, Huntington Beach, Westminster, and Los Alamitos areas. Some of our colleagues had their children enrolled at Le Port in Irvine and loved their experience, so we felt comfortable with our decision to enroll our daughter at Le Port HH.Our daughter started in Mrs. Gallo's toddler classroom (18-36 month olds) when she was 18 months old. Mrs. Gallo has been more than patient and accommodating to her needs. Mrs. Gallo or her assistant teacher is able to provide us a quick summary of how she is doing at pick up or drop off. Mrs. Gallo alone deserves more than 5 stars. Her childcare experience (she has been teaching at Le Port for years and she is a mom herself) and her calm and collected demeanor made us feel very comfortable having our child under her care.We are preparing to start potty training our child, and Mrs. Gallo is more than experienced and prepared to help us with this. The children are encouraged to explore potty training as soon as they exhibit signs of readiness. One of the other parents in the class mentioned to us that the potty training alone was worth enrolling their son into Le Port. There is an online website (Transparent classroom) where the teachers can post pictures of your child, as well as pee/poop updates and a log of what/how much your child ate for snacks and lunch. This is super helpful, especially if you are the Type A parent that I am that likes to know all the details. One small detail that is different about Le Port when compared to other schools in the area is that they have security. At the school gate, you have to punch in a code to enter. There are also uniformed security guards (1-2 guards) at the entrance at pickup times and drop off. I am not sure if they are there the whole day.No school is perfect and as a parent, you can always nitpick and point out things that can be improved, but overall we are very happy with our experience here.

It is so wonderful to have found the LePort community for our young toddler and to have her in Ms. Adly's class. She is firm, yet nurturing and respectful of children, which is exactly what my strong personality daughter needs to learn discipline in a positive, loving environment. It is so imperative to have a trusted care provider during this developmental age to set the foundation for later years. And we also benefit from Ms. Adly's advice to implement it at home, and it works. My daughter is happy and loves all the teachers she has met (Ms. Water, Ms. Kahm, substitute assistant) and her classmates. She remembers and recites all their names, and her face lights up when we say their names. LePort invited Bolsa Chica Wetlands Conservation during the summer program. I thought it was only for the upper grade, but I was so impressed it was also presented to the toddler's class. I am grateful this community and Ms. Adly is a part of our life and has had a positive impact on my daughter's learning journey. I would have signed up during pregnancy and started my daughter in the infant program if I had known how much ease and peace I would feel sending her here.

Teachers and events are extremely helpful in my child's development. The social and learning balance along with affordable healthy catered daily options is phenomenal. My son has been well taken care of since turning 1 years old. Only item is that the overall facilities and buildings could be upgraded from original built condition.

We have two children who attend LePort, one in a primary classroom and one in an infant classroom. I can't think of a more nurturing, developmentally positive environment for my children to be immersed in. Ms. Syed and Ms. Sheikh impart a special brand of care onto my son and daughter. The children are always excited to go to school and are all smiles when they are there. The communication from the teachers and admin is fantastic. The caregivers make a point to share classroom activities and photos, which is absolutely heartwarming for a full-time working mother to be able to experience. I am constantly assured they are in great hands. The campus really drew my husband and I to decide to send our kids to LePort as well. It is a large traditional school campus, which was very attractive to us as we love that our children have the opportunity to experience a mainstream school setting, but with the amazing Montessori philosophy. In addition, the campus is gated and very secure with full-time (and very friendly) security staff. We highly recommend LePort!

Our 2.5 year old son started attending Le Port in March. Since our boy was a pandemic baby, my husband and I were worried that the quirks that he garnered during lockdown (clinginess, etc) would impede his acclimation to a school environment. But since day one, his teacher Mrs. Adly has garnered our deep trust with her joyous, empathetic yet firm and structured style of teaching. Her years of experience as a Montessori teacher truly shine as she is able to genuinely connect with the children on a human level. She treats each child with genuine respect and dignity and has been in tune with every detail of our son's development. To be honest, she has even mentored us through some of our parenting anxieties! She is our teacher too. Mrs. Adly is a true gem. But over the past four months, our toddler has transformed into a mindful, inquisitive and compassionate little boy. He literally runs to his classroom every morning in excitement with a big smile on his face. Our many thanks to Mrs. Adly and the Le Port staff for creating a joyous, safe, inclusive learning environment for our little ones.

Mrs. Syed is a lovely person and a compassionate educator and care taker. Our daughter has been in her class for a few months now. Our daughter usually takes a while to warm up to people but she bonded with Mrs Syed immediately. We love Mrs. Syed because she loves the children. As a parent coming from another Montessori where we were not satisfied, coming to LePort has been a relief. The campus and the staff are warm and welcoming. We are very happy with our decision.

I have a 3 year old son who has been attending LePort Montessori since 2020. I will say that I consistently get compliments on how advanced/independent my son is and I believe a lot of it has to do with LePort and their Montessori teaching methodology. This school provides a great environment for my son to learn, express himself and grow with practical life skills (like putting on his own shoes at at 1)! A lot of the work he does at school is artistic which I think is great. Unfortunately, I have not been able to observe much of his day in person because of the COVID restrictions, but I can tell the teachers are genuine and caring of all their students. Shout out to Ms. Rojo, Ms. Hoyle and Ms. Zappa. All of these teachers have been great with my son and have had an open line of communication with me throughout our time here. I recommend LePort to anyone who I feel can afford the tuition. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for!
