The PA dismissed what i had to say about my medical history and did not listen to what i had to say about my symptoms and assumed i had covid even though i did not have any covid symptoms. Once confirmed i did not have covid she still refused to treat my sinus and upper respiratory infection and i was left to have my symptoms worsen.

This review is for Dr. Ruiz and all the support staff at Memorial care HB.Dr. Ruiz is my primary care physician and he is fantastic. He takes his time, has empathy, and really cares about his patients. Also, the support staff at the office is incredible. I’m currently overseas with limited internet access and they have been AMAZING about getting me obscure documentation for a government position. Their response time is immediate and I’ve been a nightmare for them to work with. They have been nothing but kind and supportive. THANK YOU!!

An Excellent MD at Memorial Urgent Care in Huntington Beach discovered the cause of my pain and fatigue then referred me to a specialist who treated me until I began to recover.

I had an appointment at 10:40. I was driving over 40 minutes out because it was the only appointment available in the area. I was running a bit late because I’d had to take my child to their pediatrician. On the way down, I called in, spoke with a patient navigator and was reassured as long as I was inside of the building within their standard 15 minute time frame I’d be fine.I stepped foot into the building at 10:53. When I got to the counter to be checked in, the front desk attendant pointed to her wall clock and said “I’m sorry, it’s 10:56, 10:57, it’s past the 15 minute window”; to which I held up my phone and showed her it was 10:55.She refused to admit me and instead directed me to the urgent care which had over a 2 hour wait. I’ve been a patient at Memorial Care for years, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had to date. I’m not one to write reviews, I try to be generally understanding as I’ve worked in customer care previously…but to not only be wrong, but then lie and drag out the conversation so it actually IS past the 15 minute window was insane to me. I’ll be looking to switch my primary doctor to a clinic that is less dismissive of their patients.

This place is like fast food for a doctors office. Rude desk people. It's a conveyor belt focused on quantity over quality. Impersonal and lame.

Patient navigators concern me. For the past month I've been authorized to recieve medical information for a patient. Today, for the first time, had an issue with a woman named, Dana, who kept saying I wasn't authorized, even though I never had an issue before and actually just called yesterday for information with lab work, without any problems. I assume she wasn't looking where she was suppose to, regardless, she said she couldn't help me then confused my confusion with anger. In the end, she couldn't provide solutions. Some people just don't belong in customer service

If you are a young adult DO NOT GO HERE. I got sick two weeks ago and Dr. Myles did not take me seriously at all; I felt like she did not listen to anything I said. She said there was basically nothing she could do unless I didn't get better in two weeks. On the other hand, my dad had gone in just two days before me with the exact same symptoms, and she had given him antibiotics. You could tell that she didn't believe the severity of my symptoms based off my age. Fast forward two weeks to today when I went in again because I did not get better. I saw Dr. Mehraban. This was the most awful experience I have ever had with a doctor. He would not let me get a word in beyond "yes" or "no." This was not a conversation -- it was him telling me what was wrong and I was not allowed to question him. He cut me off when I tried to offer additional information, and when I said "I am trying to advocate for myself and I want to make sure you have all the details," he was extremely offended. Dr. Mehraban acted so arrogant and rude, multiple times saying "I trust my medical expertise" as a way to dismiss the concerns I had. I left on the verge of tears, feeling completely unheard for the second time.

There is nothing URGENT about this locationThey opened up lateI was the 1st person there this morning, the 3 of us had minor issues, mine being an impact to the chest was surely the most serious over a bladder infection and skinned knee. I was the 3rd person seen I was told to sit down, not asked, while my coverage was was verified. RUDELY TOLD, never asked. They can't perform a simple X-ray. But they can send you next door for another long wait. I was given paperwork for a bladder infection when leaving. NOTHING URGENT about this place, I truly believe many there hate their jobs. Only the Doctor was friendly and seemed apologetic for a situation caused by poor service and events.

I honestly would give zero stars if I could. The wait wasn't too long and the receptionist and nurses were nice. My problem was with the doctor. I think I saw dr Nygen. I don't think I spelled that right. Anyways she was a doctor with a British accent. From the start she was very rude. I was there to get a physical and she judged me over some things I told her and then violated my hippa by making note of it for my employer. She had an attitude the whole time and acted as if I was stupid. She also didn't really do the physical. She didn't check me over to see if I'm healthy. I spent a lot of money for her to just talk to me for a few minutes. It was a waste of money and I will not be coming back.

I've been here a couple of times. No big deal. I was seen right away. Got my meds and moved on with my life. The doctors are good. I'm not here to make a best friend. So I don't care about their bedside manner. I'm here to get treated so I can go on with my bad self.

Always received great care and a professional and courteous staff. Todays visit with PA-C Melissa Laury Myles was awesome!! Came in with some ear infection issues and PA-C Myles was absolutely easy to deal with. She listened and answered all my questions concerning this medical issue. The staff was friendly and welcoming as usual!!

I'm fairly healthy n have never needed to go to any urgent care but I have friends who got mistreated at other urgent care centers in Huntington Beach. My husband was here twice n had excellent care so here I am on Mother's Day crying of Pain n itching, having worked in the biggest medical centers I already know it was 90% shingles but I needed to hear it was 100%. Dr Vinh N came in shortly after I got there, he was friendly w good bedside manners, he confirmed what I knew that I indeed had shingles n prescribed Valtrex, a better drug than the usual acyclovir, he also prescribed clobetasol on request but it was not formulary I called to have it changed to kenalog ointment for my itch but everybody had left, they closed at 5 pm. This wonderful center deserves 5 stars, highly recommended! Monday 5/9 the nurse called me at 9 am saying they had ordered Kenalog ointment for me so all is good.

Don’t go here. They gave my daughter a child, the incorrect antibiotics for an infection. We ended up in the ER twice due to their negligence. They also called me to tell me they “threw away” her urine sample by accident! It needed to be sent for further testing. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable!

I brought my child here with a "reservation", I am new to Huntington Beach. Let's start by they wouldn't let us inside until I was asked a series of questions on the phone siting in my car with a very lethargic sick child. I guess this is because of covid, they were perhaps saying she'd have to be treated IN THE CAR. It was hot and she was uncomfortable. They finally let us in the "back door". My child was tested for covid & a few other things. Melissa Myles wasn't very nice but she said she thought my daughter had a Urinary tract infection, she wasn't sure so she was going to send her sample for further analysis. I was given a prescription for antibiotics. We ended up in the ER the same night because her fever was so high. They had to give her stronger antibiotics IV. We thought my daughter was was better but after almost 2 weeks she was sick again and had to go to another ER. Not only did this urgent care give us the wrong antibiotics they THREW AWAY my daughters urine sample initially. There is no phone number to get in touch with anyone directly! I called the memorial care "patient advocate" its BS!
