My pickup order was managed to be stolen by someone else. got a confirmation email saying it was picked up before i ever went into the store and the employees had no real explanation. never dealing with this store again

Love this store. So many cute scrapbook, arts and crafts materials with affordable prices here. Sometimes I'd find exceptional deals. Service is excellent as well. It's always fun shopping at Michael's. Highly recommend!

I came here because it was on my way home. They didn't have anything I needed and I'm not sure if the sales girl even knew where SHE was, let alone where items for sale were. No rolls of craft paper? No 1" elastic? Please. I'd read that Michaels was really good and has everything but i won't be going there again

Horrible customer service. Before ordering something online for in-store pick up I called to see if what I wanted was singular or a set since it wasn't specified. Halfway through asking my question I get interrupted by the music of being placed on hold. Nice. I place my order and when I go to pick up, it's a completely different item. All I was met with was rudeness even after I nicely explained what I ordered, showing item # and picture. Don't waste your time here, just go to hobby lobby right down the same street.

The obese brunette Caucasian lady who works there is really rude. She looks to be her late 30s with pale skin.All we did was ask her for the bathroom code, and she said I don't get paid for that. She should honestly quit her job if that much of a task is creating a burden for her. Either that or maybe her blood sugar was getting low and she was feeling irritable. I have friends that are type 2 diabetic that act the same way when they get hungry.

We've had a lot of custom framing done over the years when Aaron Brothers was in business. When Michael's took over, we trusted them with some high-end projects and were not disappointed. Today I walked into the Huntington Beach store, disappointed not to see the usual ladies that have been helpful before. Only "Isaac" was there assisting a woman who was "nickel-and dimming" him over a poster sized frame project. He let me stand there for over 20 minutes after first greeting me briefly and then completely ignoring me, not making eye contact or offering to have someone else help me. I knew from overhearing the conversation she was not serious but I finally had to leave the store. I'm taking our future projects elsewhere and I suggest you transfer "Isaac" from the custom framing to the warehouse where he does not have to deal with the money-spending public.

Was purchasing a 48x60 canvas from the top shelf. A male worker with a glasses and arm tats came up and asked for help, my boyfriend said yes, to which the worker rolled his eyes and said can't she help (pointing at me). Bro just don't offer help if you don't wanna do your job. The sign says ask for assistance it's a big ass expensive canvas. By the way I had surgery on both of my shoulders int he past year. So no, I couldn't help. Cindy on the other hand at checkout was wonderful. Homie with the glasses I'm sorry you hate your life so much you take it out on people in craft stores lol

This was the second time I brought in a treasured piece of art to have custom framed. Diane was so helpful, and has a wonderful eye for picking out frames, mats and matching colors. She is also friendly and super helpful. I bring my art pieces in when they have their 70% off! Custom framing, sale. It makes such a difference to have a piece of art you love displayed in a beautiful, professional frame, and presentation. Every time I look at it, it makes me smile. Thanks, Diane!

Usually the experience here is nice, but an employee went into the bathroom when my girlfriend was using it and yelled "is there a man in here". And after I said it's my girlfriend she said she asked because she saw big feet. My girlfriend is trans and if I wanted an experience like that I'd just go to hobby lobby. It's 2023 there's better ways of asking someone's identity that doesn't make them feel unwanted.

What an icky customer service experience at the register today. A young girl named Jasmine spent effort and verbalization Telling People they Must use Self-Check Out. She looked overburdened being the only register but at 2:00 p.m. it's not that bad right? She made great efforts to get people away from her register. But why- she didn't want to smile at anyone else? She didn't want to say hello anymore? I had a coupon and I needed her help with it. no! she didn't want me to use the coupon that gave me $5 she wanted me to use the 20% off so she didn't have to key in 12 numbers. such a miserable person doing what she can to spread her misery? what a terrible employment choice :( in this young woman named Jasmine.

I came here last weekend and was pleasantly surprised! I have only been to one other Michaels before and it felt so closed in. But this one was spacious and had a lot of great looking products! I didn't know much about the store, but the employee Angelina walked me around the store and showed me where I could find certain things. She listened to me talk about what I like and made recommendations based on that. I saw her help other customers and was impressed by her service. I really could spend a lot here! I think this is a great store and I will be back!

Staff is extremely inexperienced and inconsiderate. They will keep you waiting and waste your time. I wish big corporations like this would just pay their employees a little bit more and also provide training.
