Horrible service. I needed just 3 days worth of medication to get me through the weekend as my pharmacy was closed. Cindy the pharmacists from the get go was unhelpful and rude, getting loud on the phone telling they don't do that there and making me drive all the way to Anaheim, when I live a block away from CVS. After calling my doctor I found out it's really easy to fill rx in another pharmacy, I just don't understand why Cindy wouldn't help me. After my doctor called in the rx, Cindy still refused to fill it stating it was 10 mins to closing time, when I originally called it was an hour until closing time. She waited without refilling the rx just to deny me it. The next morning she had it ready. Why? Why did it have to be so difficult to get 3 days worth of my medication, why did she act like it was not possible?? Why does she have to be so rude and unprofessional...

I triple dog dare you to try and get and customer assistance at this very wretched location!! I live right down the street and my wife and I have both had nothing but horrible service here over 10+ years... at least they're consistent. After wandering around asking for help, someone wearing black-block street clothes with no name tag asked me what I needed. I wasn't sure if he worked there or if he wanted to mug me. C'mon CVS.

Located walking distance from the Huntington Beach Pier, this is a great CVS to pop into if you're looking for a cold refreshments or nibble whilst you're out and about. Plentiful cold drinks for a hot summer (or in this case, out of the ordinarily warm winter) day. They have a couple self check out lanes, which are very helpful. In these COVID times, I appreciated the: - hand sanitizer available at the registers - automated door to enter so you don't need to touch anything (it does mean pushing the button meant for disabled individuals) 2020: 41/100

I'm giving this 5 Stars because of the pharmacist and some of the other employees. Other than that, I would give this place a 1 star review. Not that anyone from a corporate level is or ever will read this, but I must describe my situation at this time. This comes out of utter frustration! A pharmacy that opens after I go to work and closes before I leave work. Sounds like the place for me. Oh, go to another CVS you say? I can't. This is the only CVS in the area that carries my medication. And before you chime in and Walgreens or something else, I've tried this places too. The only other place in the area is Costco. So, for the last 2 years, this has been my spot. Most of the time I walk in on Saturday, but it happens that I ran out before the weekend. And before you ask, It is a medication that has to be renewed monthly, and I can't just order it ahead of time. I tried that awhile ago and was shot down. So, here's my story...I walked in here at 7:01pm yesterday and it was locked down and not a soul in sight. So you either have SWAT and Navy Seal trained pharmacists that are able to lock down an entire pharmacy and are swift enough to vacate the premises in less than a minute or you shut it down early. I'm going to go with the former... So on to the next morning... I walk in at 10:05 (they open at 10:00). So I wait, and I wait... I see the pharmacist on the phone, checking a prescription perhaps of the guy in front of me. She seems a little frustrated as well. It is now 10:15 and I'm writing this review as I am still waiting. So it looks like I'll be 45 minutes late to work, even though it's only 15 minutes away. The pharmacist is super nice and she apologized for the long wait. I think she needs some assistants to help her out though. I will be back, just frustrated with how my morning is going.

Friendly staff! Always ready to help you find what you need. The problem is sometimes they don't have the medicine in stock that I need and I have to wait or ask them to refer me to another location that has it. Also they close early for being the closest location to me in HB. They close between 5-7pm depends on what day of the week. At least open till 10:00pm would be cool.
