Is there a "zero star" option? Went in and got a quote on tires, agreed on the price and brand, and went home. Came back to pick up my car and the price was $75 higher and a different brand tire than the one we agreed on was on my Suburban. When I asked the guy ringing me up he said he knew nothing about it and to call the manager the next day. When I spoke to the manager the following day he acknowledged that they changed the brand of tires I got without asking me and they also accidentally charged me more than the agreed upon price. To make up for that he offered me an oil change. When I told him I wanted a refund of the overcharge, he said he could not do that and would have to call corporate. A month later, I have heard nothing. I called today and was told they did not have any info for me. When I asked for their corporate phone number so that I could call them myself, they said "we don't have a corporate number." Funny - I see a corporate number in the response to the bad reviews on Yelp! I've been taking my cars here for over 10 years but getting ripped off is unacceptable. I suggest you get tires elsewhere unless you like being robbed.

They are the worst auto place around! They charge $180 an hour and double the cost of parts. knowing they get a good deal on the parts. They charged my mother $1,300 for a $700 job! Go there if you don't mind being bent over a counter! Awful customer service!

Don't use them for air conditioning service, not qualified for that work. This was a few years back after getting many oil changes there, they charged us twice for the same AC service that failed both times. If you pay $250 and the refrigerant leaks out in a few days you shouldn't have to pay again, but you do here. Second time they blamed a service port, could it be the port they used hmmm, AC didn't work at all that time so we had to go back and fight for them to replace a relay they had blown. Then it didn't last again and the AC got warm again. So out $500 we went to an AC specialist shop, they recharged the refrigerant for $125 and it's been cold for a year and a half. It takes real knowledge of different cars to be able to service them, especially with AC systems. Never again Mountain View, treat your customers better.

The Disappointment of their current front area staff is Overwhelming. Thus I felt it mandatory to write this Review. 16 years of being a faithful customer, 16 years. 6 sets of Tires, 5 different cars. Oil Changes and service exceeding 20 thousand dollars all tossed away with Bad attitudes. Being fair everyone has a bad day, everyone has a bad week and sometimes we even have bad months. 3 strikes given and 3 strikes taken in a row. I ordered Tires and requested a Saturday appointment. My wife car needed tires, i called and requested the appointment move to Sunday. She needed her car. Sunday comes and no tires, You have to pay for the tires before we order. I asked why I was not informed when I called for the appointment change. I would have gladly driven down and paid for the tires. You have to come back on Monday and pay for the tires today. (strike one)Popped in for a quick oil change on my truck, 2 cars in the bay and no cars waiting. Guys standing around in the bay talking. Same Individual steps up and says YES? I would like an OIL change. 3 to 4 hours drop the car off. (Lied strike two) I asked one of the Mechanics, no we are not buys. I asked why the wait, You do not have an appointment. (Note: never needed an appointment before, and the sign says Walk-ins welcome. (Strike 3). I will never ever walk back into that building. Never have I been treated rudely before by staff or mechanics. They lied about what maintenance needed to be performed 6 months before. I am a trained Auto Mechanic who chose a different field for work. Never lie, never cheat, and never treat your customer rudely.

It appeared I irritated both men from their phone to help me. I read reviews and yep, I got the rude guy as the other stayed on his phone. I'll not be back. Their personal phone times appears way more important than working. Plus I don't prefer to be spoken to in rude way.I'll add, they go over quote with no explanation, no reason on bill summary, again rude making me so uncomfortable to even ask a question I'd can never recommend this place Terrible customer service, not sure if it's a company that values the community

Where do I start...the employee in front was very short and not welcoming like i was an inconvenience for bring my vehicle in...I ask for new windshield wipers and was told when I picked my car up that it's cheaper just to go to auto zone but it's more the fact of I'm already here and willing to pay for you to do so...Starting to think we should move to a different Auto Service place.

Came in for an oil change with an appointment wait time quoted was 2 hours. After having my truck they called and said i needed a tune up, coolant flush, rear differential fluid swap, throttle bottle body cleaning etc... all of which i had done at my last service when i normally take my truck for service at the dealership. When i said i just had it done they said well it all looked dirty. If they would have said its the recommended maintenance at my mileage, no big deal but then doubling down saying looked dirty etc... makes me feel like they might be just doing the good old service up sale. (Would have been over $1000) Based off my first experience at this particular shop, I don't plan on going back. Other locations I have had great experience with on my other cars. Especially the Temecula location. That team was great from the front door until they handed your keys back. Maybe this location was just having an off day.

My 20 year old daughter came in for oil change and was pressured in to doing a host of necessary service for $600. When she declined, they said she need new lug nuts on her tires as two were stripped after they rotated her tires. She called me in tears as she was being bullied. I called and talked to Tim and he said they couldn't put the tires back on now unless we paid for the 2 stripped lug nuts. I told him they weren't stripped before the oil change. He said they would discount each lug nut from $14 down to $9. I agreed to pay, but let him know I wasn't happy with the service. He then proceeded to hang up on me. Yep so the 74.95 oil change is going to be over $100. Unbelievable!

Called them midday on a Wednesday because I had a flat tire. Naturally I needed to buy a new tire and get it installed and this shop happened to be less than 2 miles from my current location. So I got them on the phone and asked if they had availability to help me out if I headed down to the shop. The guy told me it wouldn't be a problem and that I should come down. I got there less than 7 minutes after that phone call. Only for the front desk attendant to let me know that they only had two guys working that day and that they were busy. I told him I had just called and the guy told me to come down. He simply shrugged it off and told me they wouldn't be able to work on it until tomorrow. At which point I asked him why someone would tell me to show up only to be turned away. He simply nodded and walked away. Horrible service. I then called around and found another place a few miles down the road to fix my tires.

They do most things well at mountain view. I had nitrogen put in all my tires in an attempt to slow down the leaks, and whenever it gets a little low they refill with nitrogen for free. Really it all depends on the crew on staff regarding how friendly the service is and the value for the money. 3/4 of the time they have good staff. But then they will rotate out to try to put a good crew in some other place that is suffering, and therefore a new crew will come in and the service will suffer until they learn how to do things correctly. Still they are worth four stars. I always price shop against the dealer, and through COVID I noticed the dealer service was at or a little bit lower. Even bought tires at the dealers twice. And save money.

Yesterday was the first time ive ever been treated so terrible here. The old man manager couldn't even greet me, nor responded to my goodmorning. Then proceeded to call with an extra bill for work totaling $3300 more than agreed to. I wont be returning (doubt the old manager even cares) and now doubt they even rotated my tires after reading other reviews. I will sleep peacefully knowing all that additional work was a joke bc of all the other reviews saying the same.See you never again old man, don't bother saying you wish you coulda done better, just dont be a grumpy old man & take some pride in your work..

Terrible service. Don’t waste your time.Needed only a single tire mounted on a rim.Asked before hand if it could be completed quickly. Assured “yes they are starting now”Only to watch the only working employee leave to lunch.To which the front office replied “Oh they didn’t tell us”Also “yeah we really wish they’d communicate better with us as well but what can we do”Terrible service, terrible customer communication, and sounds like terrible corporate oversight.I have no issues with the employee needing to eat - the guy clearly needs help.The issue of customer communication is paramount and clearly lacking.
