I would give one star because most of .the stores were closed. However, the restaurant was great and we bought lots of treats in the grocery. We went on a Tuesday afternoon so not sure if the other places only open for events but website should probably clarify.

So Friday the 9th I went to this free concert there I got there early so I went inside the store there was a lady up on a ladder stocking groceries so I asked her what's the difference between swedish and German food and she took 15 minutes and explained all the difference showed me the cakes explain how I could order stuff cuz I didn't want to take anything into the concert with me she represents the store really good her name is Jackie she's a great public relations person for the business she's swedish and then I went into the concert and I believe it was Jessica she's a head of security I believe she was really helpful explained everything gave me a calendar so I know what was playing when.

Okay so I came to hear a concert tonight Friday night I believe it's a 9th. A February. I got here a little early so I went into the store. I noticed a nice looking lady on the ladder so I asked her what the difference was between German and swedish food she got down off the ladder from stocking the shelves and walk me all through the store told me the difference showed me the difference she was a very kind lady her name is Jackie. And she's very good at public relations for the store all of the employees there were nice they let me use the restroom I didn't buy anything because I didn't want to take it into the concert with me and I didn't have the patience to walk all the way back to my car. But I would highly recommend purchasing any type of swedish or German Danish food from Old world village in Huntington Beach. John

Never can go wrong with Old World, especially since Alpine Village is no longer. Fresh made bread, german cold cups and dessert galory! The restaurant food and beer selection is also great! Definitely have to try the pretzel with the beer cheese spread.

I love this place. Delicious chocolates, the best strudel ever, the Dachsund races, etc. Even visiting during the off season is relaxing.

Charming German village. The market was a little too crowded for my taste. We enjoy bringing our doggo for a casual stroll. Unfortunately, most of the shops seem to be closed when we go.
