I have only done a few Yelp reviews ever and they were positive but I had a very frustrating experience at the Quest inside Vons today and want to share. I had an appointment at 11:40 today. I did the virtual check in and sat in the waiting room. Right after I checked in the female working there closed the door to where they draw blood. I couldn't make out there conversation but could hear her laughing with the person in the room. A male that worked there kept calling in other people but I believe they were for flu or Covid shots. After 40 minutes the females were still behind the door and the male looked like he was done with people so I asked if he could help me. I explained I had an appointment at 11:40 and had been waiting. He sarcastically looked at me and said...well did you knock and tell her you were here? I said I was all checked in and she has been in with another patient the whole time. I have been to this location before and the people were nice so this was pretty surprising. Interestingly enough, at 1:00 I got a text to come in and they were ready for me. Yeah, my appointment time was at 11:40, I sat there until 12:20 before I left, then got a text at 1:00 that they were ready for me. Wow - I am not sure if they changed personnel there but I will not be back.

The people there at the Huntington Beach Location 18800 Main St. Suite 206 are very rude and you can hardly understand there English. The way they speak to the customers is awful. I would recommend going to a different Quest. If you ask a question they bite your head off. Very Very unprofessional

I went there after looking on line , of the 4th closest to my house, No where did it say by appt. only. I drove across town with my grandson in tow. The place was Empty. No one there but the tech. , , sitting , reading. She asked me if I had a appointment, I said no. She said she can't do it if I don't have an appointment. There was no one else there. I said there's no one else here, she said she couldn't do it without an appointment. It said no where on your site, by appointment only.

Great place. Inside Vons. Appointment only. The young lady that runs this location is spectacular. Fun, efficient, knowledgeable, experienced and willing to help.I'll be back.

I was surprised how clean and nice this location was, I've been to a few other quests that were not pleasant at all, One location, The Phlebotomist did not even sterilize the chair they use to draw your blood from the patient before Me or God Forbidding the one even before that? Until I pointed out there was blood droplets on the arm of the blood drawing chair! But back to this location, I had a great experience from a place that's not known for a good time, And the wonderful Phlebotimist who deserves nothing but amazing comments, Compliments and praise, who's going to hate me for forgetting her name after I asked her to write it down, But she was not only super nice, but is the first person to be able to actually get blood from my skinny dehydrated diabetic arm, I'm a super hard stick and she got it In 2 try's

I love the location because it's a 3 minute drive from my home. This is the second time I used this location. Both times it was just this one (the same one) lab staff working there. The first time I went, no problem. The second time, problem. As soon as the needle hit my arm, I felt an electric shock pain going down my arm to my hand. It was the most painful thing I had experienced. She wrote up a report (I don't have a copy of it), and faxed it to Corporate. It still hurts after 3 days. I looked it up on Google and it sounds like she hit a nerve in my arm. Now, I am very afraid of getting my blood drawn. I now have to go to the ER because of her incompetence. She needs to be retrained (my nurse of a Mother-in-law's exact words). Update: She hit a nerve. Urgent Care (not ER) told me that she hit a nerve and hopefully she didn't damage it which will take a long time to heal with a Specialist. I have a brace on now and it should take a week to heal if there isn't any damage to the nerve.

I came to do the 3 hour glucose test for gestational diabetes. I walked in early and they were very friendly and accommodating. I saw the bad reviews and was hesitant but I’m so glad I gave them a chance. Shelitha and Priscilla really took really great care of me. Made me feel at home.

It was my daughter's first time having her blood drawn and she was EXTREMELY nervous, but fortunately for us, the wait time was short and the phlebotomist, Priscilla, was fantastic! Not only did she perform her job well, but her kindness and compassion helped put my daughter's mind at ease. Future blood draws will likely be less anxiety filled thanks to our experience.

After years of seeing this lab, my insurance carrier changed and I was threatened with collections if I didn't pay my previous lab bill. I was covered but they refused to call my new carrier and continued billing me. If you can't get billing right, why would I trust you with my lab tests?

This location by far is the best. Seems to be a well-kept secret. Very short waiting time and the staff were professional and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised.

Came here for my work's health screening with an appointment and orders from my doctor to do some other testing. The tech said she could do my doctor's bloodwork but not the urinalysis because their restroom was "broken." She told me to schedule another appointment for the urinalysis or walk in another location and they would be able to take me right away. It was incredibly inconvenient to have to go to another location for something that will take five seconds. Then when the tech drew my blood she had to take six vials. I didn't think anything of it, didn't experience any pain or discomfort. Later that day my arm was bruised and tender for over a week. It was not as convenient as I had hoped it would be.
