About RaceTec Pistons
RaceTec Pistons provides custom pistons for boosted applications, including options for crown and skirt coatings. They are hands down some of the nicest people to do business with. Orders may take a bit of time but are well worth it. They are much cheaper compared to other companies, and a machinist says they are some of the best pistons ever seen. One custom piston for a 5.3 seemed good, though it nicked a spark plug hole with a stock head gasket. They are very much recommended.

Using them in a stroked supercharged 4.6 making 18lbs boost and over 600hp... no problems so far...

Had a custom dome piston made for a 5.3 seems good so far. The piston nicked the spark plug hole with stock head gasket it turned over fine by hand seen it when i had to go back in the motor because the owner ran it low on oil and kill the bearings and other things.
