About Travelodge by Wyndham Sunset Beach Oceanfront
Travelodge by Wyndham Sunset Beach Oceanfront is a great beachfront hotel for the price, offering excellent value for an oceanfront location. The hotel provides oceanfront rooms with a balcony and ocean view, which are renovated, very clean, quiet, and spacious, although the lobby and some furniture are outdated. The location is exceptional, right on a great quiet and uncrowded beach, with access just steps away. It is also close to several restaurants within walking distance and a short drive from Huntington and Seal Beaches. As a Travelodge, it is not luxurious but is perfect for a family or anyone seeking straightforward beach access without breaking the bank. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a clean and odor-free environment, a non-smoking policy, and appears safe for guests and vehicles. Parking is available in a hotel garage, which is sufficient though a bit dark. While the immediate area may have some homeless people nearby, they are reported as not bothersome. For an ocean view at the right price, this is the place to stay, and many guests would definitely stay here again.
Location, location, location !!! Can not beat the location for the price!! Sunset is a great quiet beach, not crowded at all. Staying here give access to the beach just steps away and also Huntington and Seal Beaches are 5 min drives from the Hotel. Get an ocean view room

For the location, you can’t beat the price! We’re talking about a Travelodge, so it’s not going to be luxurious and bougie but it’s perfect for a family with kids that want beach access. I’d stay here again. The pic is from our room we stayed in June 2025.

The Travelodge is what I always enjoy Ocean view on Huntington Beach. Love staying where I grew up. The only problem I had was Expedia.
