Hawaiin Plantation History There were a lot of good things that came out of the Plantations in Hawaii. It provided many jobs so that families could survive. There are tours today that explain all of this in Hawaii, with many positive reviews. My family enjoyed the Pineapple Plantation while visiting Hawaii. We learned a lot about the Hawaiian people and the history of the land. Also, the very first meaning of the word plantation means " to plant".

Why is this business name acceptable?

Plantations = sites of terrible violence/ human rights abuse. It's very upsetting to see people trying to romanticize such history in 2022. Rename your store.

Worst customer service and return policy. My husband and I both bought each other the same book for our anniversary (what can I say, we like the same things). I tried to exchange (not even return) one of the books still wrapped in plastic and sticker tag still on it. But, Bc it was past the 14 day return window, no way. Never mind, the stack of books just like it when you enter the store. Don’t worry, I won’t be back!

Worst return policy ever. Overpriced items. 14 day return policy. Both my husband went here and bought each other the same book for our anniversary. Still wrapped with price tag on it. Wouldn't return or do an exchange. Don't worry, I won't return either.

I had the most wonderful experience here! Heather was a great conversationist and so enthusiastic. She even mentioned that the owners and the employees are like family. I could feel the light environment here. I mixed and matched my seashells. Everything presented was in good taste, and therefore, the price. The prices were quite reasonable compared to other gift and furniture stores. I was so happy to be in the space!

Change the name. It is so offensive. What is wrong with you? I was walking by and my whole group was floored. It’s awful and so hurtful to casually refer to something that in the USA has a very specific implication. You might as well call it “we don’t care that this is offensive; white people only welcome.” Boycott this place.

Such nice beach decor! I especially liked the topographical map of Hawaii :) My girlfriend would probably decorate our whole house in this stuff if she could.
