The receptionist at the front desk are extremely rude disorganized and lack communication skills. No one explains any procedure the tech that did my scan was unable to answer any type of question no one explained anything about the procedure. They also canceled an appointment last minute which forced me to have to reschedule multiple appointments as a scan was very important to my treatment. When the receptionist answers the phone while I was sitting there she immediately just puts people on hold to discuss her lunch plans then continue to complain about the phone ringing off the hook if you would answer calls or return messages people wouldn't have to call so many times. Whoever runs this company needs to reevaluate their hiring process. I'm assuming it's not the greatest place to work based on the quality of the employees they already have.

Jimmy was my MRI technician.He made sure I had everything I needed to be comfortable.I was having a full spine MRI which takes 45-60 minutes. (Along time to be perfectly still)His professionalism and kindness was aboveand beyond any other person I have met in the medical field.The ladies at the check in were also very helpful and friendly.I highly recommend UMI Huntington Beach.

Excellent Care, Every Time! My brother comes to this site for frequent MRI’s and PetScans to check his response to treatment for Stage IV cancer. The staff are kind, professional and knowledgeable- the office and procedure rooms are clean and comfortable. We have nothing but praise for this team- keep up the Great work!!! The only UMI location in OC that will pick up the phone and receptionist is very nice and give us clear instructions.

Incredibly helpful receptionist, I had lost my insurance card and they were able to find it in about 5 minutes. Mind you this was a card from 8 years ago

These receptionist are awful playing games with your health. I was physically there to get a cd copy of my mri and girl at the front said I needed appointment which I was not aware since my dr didn’t tell me a I needed. Anyhow she said I had to wait since there were people ahead of me which is fine I waited. Finally my turn she gave me the paper I needed to sign to petition the cd copy she said it would take 3 days I called after the 3 days and they told there was no petition for the copy that I needed to wait another 3 days and make a new one. How can these people still have a job after all these negative reviews and awful service. The worst part is I know she did it up purpose cause my dr had called her to tell her why it would take 3 days since at most it takes 1 for cd copy of your mri. So I know she purposely didn’t put the order so I had to wait even longer.

I haven’t gone into the office but the front desk receptionist Lisa was absolutely wonderful . I expressed my concerns about the Downey location and how they weren’t answering or denying to be of service for the Anaheim location . I was able to get both my appointments as early as next week on Tuesday one after the other so it will definitely help me out . Greatful for this location of umi imaging they help you to their best of their knowledge and if unsure they will ask dr to double check since I do have oral surgery this week they will still be to see me for next week . Thank you so much for offering your services and answering your phone not like other locations god bless you all and I hope you all have a beautiful day look forward to meeting you all .

I just took my mom to UMI for a test and we had an excellent experience! It's a nice, clean place, the bathroom was recently remodeled and every staff member we interacted with was efficient, friendly and did such a great job. I would take her back there again if needed. She is in a wheelchair, and they accommodated her well.

Customer service is very bad. The appointments are not exactly set and when I make an appointment, I enter 45 minutes after my appointment, sometimes an hour and a non-Professional administration

I had an 8am appointment and got right in after filling out some quick paperwork. My paperwork and leg ultrasound (including getting into gown and redressing) took 45 minutes total....10 minutes more for making me a CD that was included in a great cash price!All front desk and techs were helpful & friendly. It was pretty packed when I left though. So maybe longer later?I appreciate their good service!

The Ultrasound specialist I went to was totally unprofessional. I had 3 ultrasounds at a time and after all of them I was sent to 3 MRI s because they couldn't be sure in anything they saw. To say so i do ultrasound every year to watch my conditions i I am fully aware of and in my past nobody had problem identifying them with US. I either got unlucky with a technician or radiologist, but I dont want to ever go back there.
