This place is a toxic environment, I went in to simply get a passport application notarized and had to deal with Meredith who I gave specific instructions to her to make a copy of my DL and she did that and gave me my license back and then told me to leave it out because she was going to need it. I said you have a copy of it in front of you. That was just the beginning next I asked her to complete, stamp and sign the paperwork and she said she didn’t need to and she was going to fill out a notary form I told her again and said yes you need to complete. I have done passport applications for years and know that if it isn’t completed they will reject and I was having this expedited for my child so my wife and I can travel. Next she walks around the back and then decides she does need to stamp and sign it. It doesn’t end there because she proceeds to take all my documents and wants to staple them. I said I don’t want all of these stapled and take them back. Then another coworker guy tells me they have to staple them by law. I tell him no my DL is not required to be stapled. He says you can take the staple out later. Which is ridiculous anyway because they get scanned and uploaded then mailed in. I hand back the app 2 pages and their notary form. Then out of the blue the customer the guy is helping tells me to stop being an asshole. I tell this customer to mind his own business numerous times as have no idea why he thinks my passport notarization has anything to do with him. What comes next is unbelievable as I place my debit card on the counter and Meredith picks it up and throws it at me on the counter and tells me you are going to need this to pay. I tell her you’re not in charge of me and say thank you for being of service. She is now visibly shaking and starts ringing up the purchase and tells me now sign the screen. I said don’t tell me what to do as I can read the screen and where do I sign it. She says to me well you know everything so figure it out. I take the screen and turn it to her, she reads it and then taps more keys on her register. A signature panel comes up and I sign it. Then the payment part is enabled and I scan the card. She takes my receipt and slams it down forcefully with her hand on the counter. I pick up the receipt and tell her thanks for being of service and to have a good weekend. The customer again says stop being an asshole I look at him and walk away and tell him f you as I exit the door and he looses it and screams at the top of his lungs f you back. If you think that taking your business to deal with this type of behavior from employees is healthy behavior I strongly encourage you take your business elsewhere as no one needs UPS shipping clerks to tell them how to conduct their business as it’s not them having to bear responsibility on if the US government accepts their passport application.

All the staff members are very helpful and try to understand me on the phone, even when I have a thick accent 😂
Been with them for about a year now, and all of the mails n boxes coming into the personal business mailbox are all secured.

I came in to return an Amazon product but had other inquiries about the best way to ship a large package. Meredith was so helpful and knowledgeable and gave a solid solution to what I needed. I would highly recommend coming to this store!!

They have been great with some transactions, but I do not recommend them for passport photos. Although passport photos are notoriously bad, the person taking it made me put my hair behind my shoulders, and that is NOT a requirement of the Department of State.

DO NOT SHIP FROM THIS STORE!!!!
I shipped a very rare and fragile acoustic guitar with UPS Store 6849 on May 20th. I called in advance and confirmed that they offer shipping services for guitars and that they will box the instrument up to ensure it will be safe for its transit. I came into the store and spoke with a gentleman at the counter, reiterating that I needed to ship the guitar and wanted to pay whatever it took to have it professionally packaged up so that it would arrive safely. The gentleman at the counter assured me he would take great care of it and have it boxed up safely. THAT IS NOT WHAT HAPPENED. The recipient reported damages of over $1500 to the guitar, and said that it came with ZERO PACKING IN THE BOX!!! I called the store and explained the situation, and they asked me to email them with a photo of my receipt and a breakdown of the situation. I did as instructed, with NO RESPONSE. Upon follow up, they said that there is nothing they can do and allege I specifically asked them NOT TO USE PACKING and to ONLY PUT THE GUITAR IN A BOX BY ITSELF. What in the world?!?! Who in their right might WOULD EVER DO THIS!!! I filed an insurance claim with UPS and even THEY SAID this is NOT CUSTOMARY AT ALL and that UPS STORE 6849 IS NEGLIGENT!!! How dare they call me a liar. I am DISPUTING THIS CHARGE WITH MY BANK!
This also is NOT THE FIRST TIME this has happened. I shipped very rare trading cards from this store in April and AGAIN ASKED FOR PROFESSIONAL PACKAGING. They absolutely DESTROYED THE CARDS with their packaging. Fortunately I was able to recover monies with an insurance claim.
AVOID THIS NEGLIGENT STORE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY THROUGH THE NOSE FOR SERVICES THEY DO NOT RENDER AND FOR THEM TO CALL YOU A LIAR AND DENY LIABILITY FOR DAMAGING YOUR SHIPPED ITEMS. SHAME ON YOUR STORE!

I have been in this store twice, and both times the employees were pretty rude and did not feel that they needed to explain the process. I'm going to try a different UPS Store in the future.

Outstanding and compassionate service. I am visiting from out of state to manage my mother's funeral and estate arrangements. I had multiple documents that needed transferring to my email.
