Employees are nice and helpful but WHY does it always feel like a hot-ass swamp in the store?? The employees are sweating and look absolutely miserable and I can never spend more than 5 or 10 minutes in there without feeling suffocated. It's been like this for a couple years now. The only reason I'll go in there is to grab something quick... if it was at least tolerable, I'd shop there more often. I brought this up to the employees and they agreed with me saying they were very uncomfortable a majority of the time but that corporate controlled their a/c remotely so they were unable to do anything about it.PLEASE fix this! It's ridiculous and considering it's a health and wellness store, it's probably not good to continue breeding bacteria like that.

Ordered a bunch of snacks and random things I needed. The chips and dip were so good. I really wanted something crunchy and salty. Worst pharmacy in California. Several times have been given pick up times only to show up and asked to return later. Then, when I return, they ask me to wait while they fill the order. Also, multiple times refilled via phone and was given a confirmation of the medication name and dosage along with a pick up time. When no text or email confirmation was received, I called back and was informed there was no such existing order. So I placed the refill order multiple times and received a confirmation each time, but when I called the pharmacy they said "Oh, it must not have gone through". How flippant! My medication is not critical, but it can be for others. Would not someone who cared just a tiny bit have expressed concern that phone orders were not going through? Clearly that location does not care about patients or customer service. I know Walgreens is a giant and they could care less about a poor review, but the company and pharmacy leadership at this location should be ashamed of themselves.

I have been going to this particular Walgreens for years and only in the past month have they completely plummeted into a a place with such lousy service. No communication, no patient care . I am talking strictly about the pharmacy. In the past when my physician sent in prescription refills , they were prompt and let me know per email when my scrips were ready . Now , nothing !!!!! You have to call them and remind them that doctor sent refill request days before . And empathy of zero when it has anything to do with pain medications . And to be totally honest , if I called in prescription refill a couple days early because I went thru a couple of tough "pain" days , they would oblige and fill . Not anymore . I went 3 days without pain medication before they would refill a prescription that was sent from doctors days before . I understand the ongoing opioid crisis but don't understand why pharmacy is rude and non- caring to their loyal patients. Maybe that's why most pharmacies have such low ratings .

Pharmacy is terrible and LIZ is part of that problem. Extremely rude, some of the staff are nice and the others are just as bad as Liz. Been going here for years thinking it would get better but how can it get better when the leadership and management of the pharmacy "Liz" is the main part of the problem. Will transfer all RX to a more reputable retail vendor. AVOID WALGREENS, all the other poor reviews reflect the same concerns above.

When I visit most Walgreens, they pretty much carry the same stock of inventory. However this location consistently over the years has outstanding customer service. I hope management recognizes and appreciates their staff.

Store was very clean but my review is mainly with the Pharmacy. Happened to be in the area running errands and stopped to get a couple of vaxx. I was told I needed an appointment. I told the Pharm that the location on 6th St and Long Beach Blvd told me only Covid vaxx appt were required. He looked at me very puzzled and went to ask. Promptly returned and told me that was incorrect and I needed an appt. He was also pretty rude about it.

I'm sad to report that after years of coming here I have absolutely been frustrated enough to write a review to convey just how poor this store is. The manager Paul is rude, not helpful, and quick to say no. I have used this as my home pharmacy for years due to sheer proximity to my home. I now want to go out of my way because of how frustrated I am with the customer service at this Walgreens. Instead of doing the right thing and solving my issue in store the manager was happy to tell me there was NOTHING he could do to fix the issue I had experienced at an out of state Walgreens. I then had to waste my time calling corporate, pleading my case, just for them to make me come into the store to get my refund. The worst part was after all this, I was forced to go into the store and be disrespected by Paul a second time, just to collect the money that was rightfully owed to me. I am so irritated and frustrated with the lack of customer service i have received here time and time again. I am normally easy to work with. I would have been happy with a sincere apology. I could not even get that. Very frustrating. This store could use some customer service 101 teaching.

I've been coming to this Walgreens for over 10 years, I take several medications on a regular basis ( I'm older and stuff happens) . I've had good help from the pharmacy staff the technicians are very good and friendly but I think they get to busy and it takes longer to get a refill or new prescription sometimes 3 days. The drive thru is much busier due to Covid so often the wait is at least 3 and sometimes 4 cars. The pharmacists are better than they were a couple of years ago and it makes it quicker and they seem more knowledgeable.

Excellent Customer Service! All employees try their hardest to find what you're looking for! The store usually has products in stock and parking lot is well-lit at night that ensures it's safety outside for peace of mind.

This place deserves a 0. I read that I can drop off FedEx packages here so I chose this instead of the actual FedEx location because it was on the way home. BIG MISTAKE. I was sending in 2 Samsung Galaxy phones for credit towards my 2 new Galaxy Fold Z 2 phones. The next day, I received notice that only 1 of my phones had been picked up by FedEx. I thought that was strange considering I had 2 packages dropped off at the same time. The after that, I received notice that my second package was picked up. I didn't think anything of it until I received a notice from Samsung that one of the boxes was returned EMPTY... The phone was valued at $650. So I filed a claim with FedEx and they gave me back only $100 because my package was only insured up to $100. WTF!!!! I was pissed. I thought about it and it all comes down to where the strange things happened - this Walgreens. From the get-go, the guy that was working the FedEx/photo area that day must have known what was in the box and opened my package and took the phone. Walgreens, you might have a thief in your store and if you need my help finding out who, I will gladly help you. I have records of the day I dropped off my packages, when they left your facility, etc. I still remember what the guy looks like the day I dropped off the package and I'm sure you have only a handful of employees.
