Bad Service. Citi Bank also supposedly is for racial equality movement although I don't agree with that because there is racial equality in our country and by that I mean U S.A but all of their telephone service they do in the Philippines it looks like and I have received nothing but bad customer service. They are lazy they and don't help the customer. They don't even know how to spell in English it's like you have to insist on order for them to do anything for you. Before you deposit a check they will automatically close your account with out verifying it with your employer, even if you change your pin they will ad a note stating that they tried to contact you which probably isn't true close it and send you a letter. The customer service alone is reason enough to switch banks. I think that Citi Bank would create more money if they didn't do business with these customer service employees. I f theyre an American Bank they should do business here and actually make some money.

Set an appointment online for 10am arrived at bank and waited for an hour an 40minutes until I was waited on. Very poor customer service. Will not recommend no one to this bank.????

Stay away from this bank at all cost. There's nothing good there. When you try to do multiple transactions, they will block your account automatically. Their customer service is unprofessional, rude and useless. The environment is very poor and you can often hear much noise like someone else's chatting over the phone. You ask them to do something and they tell you it's done, while it turns out nothing has been done later. When you try to dispute, 95% time the page says currently unavailable. I'm closing everything I got with them.

Ami esposo le Jaquearon su teléfono y le sacaron su dinero el banco se los dio sin averiguar y ahora dicen que es culpa de mi esposo y no le quieren dar su dinero para atrás que seguridad le dan a uno de confiarles su dinero si no hay ningún respaldo de Citibank mucho tiempo de trabajo y esfuerzo para obtener ese dinero y ahora no sabemos que hacer

I went in on friday 7/15 to ask information about opening an account and their promotions. They stated that they needed an appt to open an account. It was before 430 and they closed at 5. They stated that they were with their last appointment. They told me i could do it online and even suggested me that they can email me. I felt unappreciated and rushed to get out of there. 1. I know i can open an account online 2. Their link gave me errors. So i had to call saturday at 9:40am . Keep in mind this branch does not open weekends. I asked for the promotions and they stated that i will be ok and ill get a mail with instructions of how to submit paperwork. I get an email requesting to upload , but guess what they have my number wrong. They were closed by the time i got the email. So i called today and they stated that i no longer qualify for the promotion because it states im opening today 7/18 when i went to the bank the 15th then opened it by phone on the 16th. Promotion ended the 17th. I did submitted a complaint when i called today because it takes up to 5 days to get my number change after they review the call to determine if the operator was at fault or me. Plus i was told that i did not qualify for that promotion but i could dispute it 5 months into the account. How will i want an account with people that treated me this was. I always looked at citi as a great bank but im simply disappointed. Sadly i have a credit card with them from a store for over 15 yrs and I'm most likely going to cancel that as well. Horrible experience and waste of my time.

Today, after my physical therapy appointment I needed cash to take a ride I had reserved to take me home. I took cash out of the ATM and spent 20 mins waiting in line. But then the teller and bank manager refused to give me change because I was not a Citi Bank customer. I spent $3.25 on atm fees to get legal tender from your machine but they REFUSED to give me change because it’s the bank’s policy?!? I was already in pain, but they made me miss the ride and I was forced to spend another $25 and wait an additional hour for a taxi. I will NEVER open an account with Citi Bank. Not checking, no direct deposit, savings, jumbo savings or my business account because Citi Bank Big Bear treated me badly. Over $20 change that would have cost the bank nothing. Congratulations!

On 7/6/2020 my benefits provider sent an ACH deposit to Citibank, however the wrong account number was entered into the system when I set up the direct deposit. I have since spoke to 26 different customer service representatives and have been given different answers by almost all of them. I was an excellent customer with Citibank for more than 15 years. My account was unused for 2 years and was closed. There was no prior notice and when I called I was told a hard inquiry would be needed and I might not get the high credit balance I had before. I am u. The process of refinancing and this hit to my previously excellent credit by a huge drop in my available credit is significant and will cost me a lot due to higher interest rate. So disappointed that Citi refuses to work with me when I have been a great customer.

Citibank are terrible with disputes, they give you the run around, they just make you WASTE YOUR TIME, hours on hold not to solve anything, VERY INEFFICIENT, if you have other credit card options, AVOID CITIBANK !!!

This bank is awful!! They offer you one thing and then change the terms and give you the impossible task of trying to prove this or that. Very misleading and terrible customer service from all levels, even up the Executive!!

Due to corona virus emergency all major credit card has been postponing their payment (AmEx, CapitalOne, BoA). Citibank denied my request. I have been a cardholder for more than a year and I have been paying always on time. Very poor service and very poor understanding of the situation by them. I do not recommend this credit card service to anyone, especially in this delicate, serious, and scary time of history and economic situation.
