“I went to Hunky Dory this weekend and I was amazed by the selection this store carried. Very organized and easy to navigate, amazing boxes organized by genres but also by Budget Vinyls, Half Price and New Arrivals. The boxes weren’t too full so it was easy to check records. I will give a sixth star for how clean and not dusty this store was (which adds a lot to the preservation of vinyls, especially the used and old ones).”
“It was my partner and I’s first time in Idyllwild and we visited Julianna’s store. She greeted us so well and made us feel very welcomed. Her art is unbelievable as well as the other unique art displayed in the store. I highly recommend visiting the store, you will not regret it!!!!”
“Great little art shop! Unique and fun items that local artists sell. I always stop by the gallery when I am in town. All different kinds of art!I have bought handmade earrings here and love the neat handmade bracelets. The gentleman who I believe is the owner, is very friendly and we have enjoyed talking to him over the years when we do our yearly Idyllwild visit. There's bird feeders a nice place to sit outside and we saw a Steller Jay and an Acorn Woodpecker while visiting this shop. The store is nestled in the back a little bit but not hard to find. Look for the Artspresso sign.”
“This place was eclectic, like the owner Sal. I appreciated that he introduced everything to us when it came to the floors and it’s content. We got good deals on some steam punk sunglasses and I love my new earrings! Thank you again and remember! No poopy heads allowed!”
“Middle Ridge Winery sits right in the heart of Idyllwild and feels like a perfect blend of wine tasting lounge, art gallery, and weekend hangout spot. This is actually my third time visiting, and it’s consistently been our go to whenever we’re in town. The space has both indoor and outdoor seating so you can choose between a cozy, rustic interior or a breezy patio setup that’s perfect for people watching and soaking in the mountain town energy. On weekends, the place really comes alive with live music, adding that relaxed, social vibe without feeling too loud or overwhelming. There was a band playing during this visit, but I have to admit I’m a little biased toward the young guy who performed the last time my boyfriend and I were in town. He was soooo good! We were secretly hoping we’d catch him again, but oh well… it was still a fun time.
What makes it even more unique is that it’s not just about the wine because they also showcase and sell beautiful jewelry, art pieces, and locally inspired goods, which makes browsing just as enjoyable as the tasting itself. It feels curated, not cluttered.
Overall, it’s a laid back but elevated experience with equal parts wine bar, art space, and boutique right in the middle of town!”
