I've known the owners over the last decade and the place has gone through a lot of change in a positive way. The business survived the COVID shutdown and is thriving again. I was there with others that found what they were looking for and then some. It's always like being a member of the family when you come in.

It is a really neat shop with some cool candy and games. Horrible service! Asked if the arcade games worked no answer. Rang the bell for coffee and got looked at but no one came over to help us. We ended up getting coffee elsewhere. Sad that the customer service here is so terrible because the shop is cute.

What a cool space!!! Walked over here on the way to the beach after grabbing some dinner at Pizzaport. This space is like a blast from the past! So much to see and look at. Candy and fudge galore along with a bunch of cool novelty vintage decor! They have the OG Thrifty's ice cream! My husband and I got single scoops in a cone and spent $5! That price is completely unheard of!!! The lady there that helped us was very nice. Scooped our ice cream and we were on our way to enjoy the sunset! Didn't have our kids with us last night, but next time we grab dinner in IB we will be sure to bring them for ice cream!

We walked in at 645 and the place was empty. The person working the counter was very quick to tell us that she closes at 7 in a voice that was obviously not happy. She seemed annoyed that we wanted to spend money when she only had 15 minutes remaining on her shift. We ordered three single scoop comes, and headed for the door. As we were leaving, a family with a few excited small children walked in and got the same treatment. The ice cream was fine and the prices were fair, but we definitely did not feel welcome doing business.

This place was a by chance discovery. It had a working vintage music player, an old phone booth, old school arcade games and even a parrot. Its laid back setting is great and Celeste helped us with our ice cream choices. 10/10 service and we will be back.

The coolest vintage candy shop around. They have so much to offer-Japanese snacks, thrifty ice cream, old school cigarette gum, homemade fudge and a little cafe that serves coffee. Inside is so nostalgic and fun. They also have a few old school arcade games inside and plenty of seating. There is never a crowd so service is quick and friendly. Don't forget to stop by their parrot, Cody who hangs out outside.
