“We’ve been taking our family members to Seacoast Veterinary for years. The staff is great and really cares for them. Highly recommend the Doctors, Technicians and front office personnel.”

“The staff here are welcoming and friendly. I felt reassured that they were here for both me and my dog and they made the process that much more comforting, especially when you're feeling overwhelmed with worry for your fur baby. They ran tests and did what they could to help us, then referred us to another location that could further support what my dog needed. I really appreciate the time they took to help explain things to me and didn't leave me in the dark.”

“Pacific Pet Hospital came highly recommended by family and friends when I moved to Chula Vista with my dog, Roxie. The office was well appointed, front desk staff friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, Dr Humphrey was thorough and put my Chihuahua/Papillion (yes, a "nervous" type) at ease and explained everything to my satisfaction, and the back end staff was wonderful as well. PPH will definitely be seeing us regularly!”

“We are fortunate a couple we randomly met referred us to Dr. Rhoades and Town and Country a couple years back. Dr. Rhoades carved out 45 minutes to thoroughly cover all options during an end of life conversation for our little man Jack. We unequivocally trust Dr. Rhoades and would only allow him to help us make this decision. I read the couple bad reviews below and I would say to form your own opinion. Dr. Rhoades is very thorough in explaining all options and that may feel like he is “pushing” services, but it’s not the case as he always reinforces it’s your decision. I also recommend Nationwide insurance for any pet owner if you can afford the monthly premiums.”

“If I could give Dr. Laing and her team 10 stars I would. My vet was one of the best visits I’ve encountered. She was thorough with instructions, handled my pet with ease and gentleness, her prices were extremely reasonable and not the type of doctor whom takes advantage on needing extra exams to take pay.I’m extremely satisfied with her care and personality. Great work. I 100% recommend The Pet Clinic and Dr. Laing.”

“The veterinarians and the vet technicians take consistently excellent care of our best friends. Natalie, Lorraine, Kayla, and Curt working the front desk always do what they can to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible and is squared away logistically - that stuff does not go unnoticed. Thank you so much for all that you do.”

“I brought my old girl here for the worst possible reason, but they truly made the experience as good as it could have been. This was my first dog (first pet at all), so I'd never gone through this process before, and I had just moved from across the country and hadn't found a vet yet. In the early hours of the morning, my girl had suffered a stroke, so we had no warning and no appointment. After accepting the facts, my family and I spent three hours driving around to vets trying to find someone who could take a walk in. We were finally recommended this place and even the call I made to ask about availability was as kind as could be.The woman who answered offered condolences, was patient with me while I tried to give my information through sobs, and even booked us an actual appointment so we didn't have to wait in line and draw this out any further (I was told they take walk ins but the line can get long). When we arrived, we were taken right to the exam room, they took my girl back to get her set up, walked me through all the paperwork, and then brought her back in so we could say goodbye. They gave us the thickest blanket I've seen in my life to wrap around her, and a button to push when we were ready. When the vet came in, she talked to us about our girls life, walked us through every step of the process, and even went out of her way so that my girl could stay laying in my lap. Before every injection, I was asked if I was ready, I was able to sit with my girl afterwards for as long as I needed, at no point was I rushed, and I appreciated that I didn't have to worry about any paperwork afterwards. Then, to top it all off, about a month later I received the sweetest condolences card from them, which also contained paw prints and a sample of my girls fur (which I had completely forgotten to save and was heartbroken about it). Even the company they partner with for cremations was amazing (they included a cast of her paw and certificate with her ashes). When I do get another dog, I will absolutely be bringing them here. I genuinely can't imagine a better way to have experienced one of the worst days of my life. From the bottom of my heart, and on behalf of my family as well, thank you so so much to everyone here. <3”

“This is a really great vet, they took care of my 16 year old elderly cats dental work, and helped us find a flea medicine that actually worked which is amazing cause he is allegic and was miserable. Two years later and they are helping him with a case of the diabetes. They are well priced, and the new dr Dhalhiwal is just as nice as dr Fox was.”

“We had been struggling with dog allergies for a few years now and SSD Vet Hospital has helped immensely. I was skeptical about trying a new vet at first but even at 6 months later the progress was clear. Now, 1 year later my dog is healthier and happier than ever.In 2021, my then 6-year-old lab mix started excessively licking her paws to the point of hair loss, bleeding, and skin infections. I was spending so much money on apoquel, antibiotics, tests, check ups, and other stuff that was messing with her stomach. I could not leave her alone or she'd start licking on the couch or bed leaving lick spots everywhere. We thought it was environmental allergy as itall started as soon as we moved to new apartments with lots of greenery. Other vets didn't care too much about the source and wanted to mask the symptoms. We even tried apoquel and citopoint injections together to reduce itchiness but nothing worked until we went to South SD Vet Hospital and considered a homeopathic approach. They're all so nice and always answer my questions. They have saved me thousands of dollars in unecessary medication and can clearly tell my dog is much happier and excited for the meals I make her.Sometimes it's hard to get appointments.”

“I wish I remembered the names of everyone who helped my family today. We said goodbye to our dear sweet 12 year old Molly today. She was the best dog but cushings was more than she could handle. Everyone was so kind. The receptionist knew who we were when I was crying so much that I couldn't get words out. The vet ensured that we were making the right decision by going through a complete history and symptom check, and the vet techs were so compassionate. I loved that we were able to feed Molly Hershey kisses before she passed. If we ever have a pet again VCA will be our vet!!!Thank you for your compassionate service to our family during a very difficult time ?”

“Our cat Binx ended up throwing up a significant amount, we took our fur child in for check up and received excellent care. He ultimately needed surgery because he had a bowel obstruction but thanks to Dr. Bachman and all of the staff at the Pet Emergency and Speciality Center we got to bring him home and he is thriving once again. I cannot thank the staff more for all the hard work they do. They were transparent with pricing and made sure we were updated everyday. It was a pricy bill but our cat required emergency surgery. They provided us with options for repayment. They worked around our budget and Dr. Bachman truly was an angel and our savior throughout this whole thing. Could not be more grateful. Thank you Pet Emergency and Speciality Center- South County!”

“The ONLY reason I gave 5 stars was because of Miss Iliana. She helped us with our dog Gypsy; answered all questions with ease and gave us SO many tips. She spent the extra time with us to make sure our pet was getting the best care. Thank you Iliana, you’re truly amazing!!”

“This is one of the best organized and run Animal Care Facility in the country and should be an example for all shelters. The dogs each have separate rooms, NOT Cages, with windows for fresh air and a view! They have daily outdoor playtime in the fenced play yards and are walked at least twice a day. They are socialized so well that, when they are considered by a family to adopt, they are happy and well behaved and present beautifully. I know many people who have adopted from PAWS of Coronado and are very pleased with their new family members. The cats have large rooms, again no cages, with ladders and towers for climbing, and lots of toys. They are handled many times a day by a wonderful group of volunteers who socialize them and get them ready to fit right into their new adoptive homes. They are driven around the Landing in baby Prams so that they are available to be seen by potential adopters. If you are looking for a great new family member to adopt, call for KAREN DWINELL, the outstanding adoption coordinator. Pets bring so much joy into our lives and rescued ones bring even more!!”

“I have found my new favorite vet! I have had such bad luck with vets in San Diego County. I always get different opinions and/or results. I took my 15yr+ chihuahua mix dog, Mami to see Dr. Rose today. I have never been so impressed with a vet. She was easy to talk to and explained things clearly and consisely and didn't try to upsell the way most vets do.Dr. Rose is the best and I will be taking all 4 of my dogs to her from now on!”

“After numerous vet visits and discovering my Lily's health was not improving, I decided to put her to sleep. I contacted this hospital that is open 24 hrs. They were very sympathetic in the whole process. During check out they explained the cremation process and told me I would get my pretty kitty in a wooden decorative box along with her paw print. This was all included with my visit cost, which was very reasonable. ....I could not beleive this was all included. Godbless this place and the the facility that took care of her after???”

“I’ve lived all over the country, and this is the best vet I’ve ever been to. My pup is usually highly anxious and standoffish at the vet, but here he gives the techs and doctors kisses and is at ease. He had a skin issue and the vet went above and beyond to figure out what it was and how to treat it. If you are looking for a vet and San Diego, look no further.”

“I think Dr. McClemons is an exceptional vet. The office as a whole on the other hand I was less impressed by. The office atmosphere, patience of staff and wait time are 3 star-level but Dr. McClemons and the location are a 5. First, let me praise Dr. McClemons. We have a 3 year-old dog who has been struggling with an autoimmune disease for two years. We have seen multiple vets but Dr. McClemons noticed details and presented options no other vet had. She is knowledgeable, detailed, informative (without being condescending) and dedicated. She called me back on a Friday evening so I wouldn't have to wait until Monday to hear our pup's test results. The office. The location is excellent, right off the 805. There is a canopy outside with metal chairs for you to wait in. I actually prefer this so that I'm not trying to keep my dog away from a cat sitting 3 feet from us in a waiting room. There was a bit of a wait time, 10-15 minutes to get into a room then 10-15 minutes to see the vet. The staff I encountered my first visit were bright, kind and helpful. The second visit was a busy day for their office and staff were less patient and kind that day. The price is comparable to other vets we've visited. They offer a 10% military discount!”

“This VCA is so amazing. Every single person on the staff is so kind and they really care about your pet. There is another vet much closer to me, but I prefer this VCA so much that I always go there.A lot of vets brush you off and make you feel rushed to get out of their hair, but not the VCA Main staff. Thank you all so much!! I wish I could remember the names of the people I saw today, but everyone I talked to was amazing.”

“Brought my senior dog in for a teeth cleaning and was so impressed when the vet spent about 5 minutes educating me on challenges our dog may face as she ages, what to look out for and how to help he age comfortably. The post cleaning and extraction instructions were clear and all of the techs we interacted with were great. Thank you Bayside!”
