“The staff at Town And Country is awesome! I can tell everyone here really has their heart in it and loves each animal is if they're their own. I brought my 7 year old cat Goo in for a wellness exam, then a dental procedure a couple of weeks later. During both visits, the staff was accommodating, friendly, and gentle. Dr. Quintana was very helpful and thoughtfully answered my questions. Lilliana eased my anxieties ahead of Goo's dental procedure and was so kind to mention several times how sweet my cat is when she called to follow up after his visit. My family and I happily drive 85 miles one way about once a month to see her. We have a 13 year old pitbull mix who at the start of this year completely changed. She stopped playing, stopped greeting us at the door, stopped play talking, definitely no zoomies. She couldn’t sleep and would groan in discomfort all night long. Her spirit just completely gone. We tried any and everything without much change. I thought she was ready to leave us UNTIL she had her first treatment with Dr. Mindy. She slept ALL NIGHT (and still does), no groaning at all, the next day she was happily trotting around the house, wanted to go for a walk, and had so much more energy and her spirit was coming alive again! Every day she’s improved and definitely has so much life to live.

“Thank goodness for same day appointments! My dog woke with a suspected ear infection and SBVH got me in the same day. Friendly staff, practically zero wait time and the nurse (Anthony) was such a great ambassador of the quality care we received. Our vet was fantastic. Also, they have parking behind the building which is noteworthy on Broadway. Overall, great experience considering a double ear infection diagnosis.”
“My dog is a reactive cattle dog/husky/shepherd. He howls and barks and fights at the vet. The vet techs and nurses in particular —Sylvia, Kara and Luis treated him with smart techniques, kindness and patience to successor draw his blood (he was partially sedated but still very energized). We figured out that he’s better when he’s not guarding me and goes alone to the back with them. We also have head the best success with Dr. Rickey . He is kind, communicative and doesn’t over recommend treatments. We have a preference for him whenever he’s available. Sylvia was the real standout today! Thank you to the whole team for their patience with Desmond.”
“I switched to Purple Paws 2 years ago after spending thousands of dollars with another vet for my cat who had a urinary blockage. The doctor at Purple Paws declined to do the recommended surgery and took care of my kitty for way less $$. My kitty has done well ever since. He is on a special prescription food which requires a new prescription once a year. To obtain that, he needs to visit the vet, even though he's perfectly healthy. I waited for 35 minutes to see the vet. She was lovely and very kind to my kitty, but the visit lasted maybe 10 minutes. The charge was $85...which seemed like a lot to just obtain a renewed prescription. I feel like they care about the animals they see, but wish I could just get the renewal without having to pay for a visit.”

But this veterinary facility practices excellent medicine and surgery.
Not only that, they are very caring and you can tell they care deeply for your pet. As well as educating you about your pet. My dog Stella had a digit amputation do to a tumor.”
“This hospital saved my cat’s life!!! He ended up having a urinary blockage after his previous vet sent him home without giving proper care. They took him right in and immediately helped clear his blockage and made sure to keep me updated on how he was doing and the cost was affordable. I will definitely be coming back here for my cats medical needs in the future.”
“Great experience!! Staff and Dr are awesome!! Spouse and I are linked to the military so we are in San Diego temporarily and on a strict budget. We have 2 cats and a dog. This establishment is super affordable with excellent service. I strongly recommend!! They have a great app and commutation via text. “It's an old clinic and one can tell, it smells horrible but we stayed because we were there for a free promo so we took advantage. The vet assistant as well as the veterinarian were really nice , but honestly vets here have a disadvantage by being close to the border where we will continue taking our pets. Better prices”

“Found out 2 days ago that this place offers rabies shots for a discounted price on Wednesdays. Its $10!!! It is first come first serve and they offer it at specific times. First I want to say that an animal clinic that offers this service to people is one of the kindest things you can do, because you really are putting our pets first while making it affordable for the furparents, which allows them to make responsible decisions to take care of their furbabies.
Second, the staff was amazing!!!! They were warm and welcoming and there were ZERO judgments. The process was easy and fast.
Third...They also do adoptions here and other services.

“I think Dr. McClemons is an exceptional vet. The office as a whole on the other hand I was less impressed by. The office atmosphere, patience of staff and wait time are 3 star-level but Dr. McClemons and the location are a 5. First, let me praise Dr. McClemons. We have a 3 year-old dog who has been struggling with an autoimmune disease for two years. We have seen multiple vets but Dr. McClemons noticed details and presented options no other vet had. She is knowledgeable, detailed, informative (without being condescending) and dedicated. She called me back on a Friday evening so I wouldn't have to wait until Monday to hear our pup's test results. The office. The location is excellent, right off the 805. There is a canopy outside with metal chairs for you to wait in. I actually prefer this so that I'm not trying to keep my dog away from a cat sitting 3 feet from us in a waiting room. There was a bit of a wait time, 10-15 minutes to get into a room then 10-15 minutes to see the vet. The staff I encountered my first visit were bright, kind and helpful. The second visit was a busy day for their office and staff were less patient and kind that day. The price is comparable to other vets we've visited. They offer a 10% military discount!”
“Very wonderful operation. We made an appointment to see two dogs. We brought our dog. My husband and I did a meet up with each of the dogs then they set up a meet up with our dog and each of the dogs. It was very safe on leash with a fence, then no fence finally off leash. We came home with a lovely dog.”

“Our dog Roscoe had been coughing for about a week and we thought he was finally turning a corner, then he started shutting down last Friday night. So, I brought him to PESC South County and it turned out he had aspiration pneumonia in both lungs.
They took his vitals, found a fever and an elevated heart rate, and had him in an oxygen chamber immediately. The Dr. Suau walked us through every possible scenario, she explained what the next step would be at each check-in, and never charged us for anything we hadn't authorized. We never felt rushed or upsold during what was a genuinely crappy night. Their x-rays also caught arthritis in both of his front shoulders that we had no idea about.
Roscoe responded to the IV meds and oxygen and we brought him home the next morning. Recovery has been slow but steady, and we have a follow-up with his primary vet. Before and after pics, because dogs rule.
Anyhow, I'm super grateful to their staff and that this place is open 24/7. If you're in an emergency with your pet, you're in good hands here.”
