“I only just had my first experience with Mission Valley Pet Clinic, but I was so happy with everyone there! The girls at the front desk were so kind and helpful, both in person and on the phone. I called on a Friday and got a Tuesday appointment, which I think is fast for San Diego. We saw Dr Casemier, and he might be the most informative, patient, kind and understanding vet I have ever experienced. My previous vet used to spend about 2 minutes with us and then rush me out of the office. Dr Casemier took the time to explain all the illnesses we could rule out for my cat, what his bloodwork meant, and walked me through options for moving forward. I think he was with us for 20 minutes or more. I love it here, my cat tolerates it here, and we will definitely be back.”

The techs and front-of-house are really lovely, and have always been very easy to schedule with (and are even open Sundays which is uncommon and very appreciated). I think pricing is comparable to many other vets in the area, and has never felt exploitative (which I've experienced elsewhere).They handled continuing service during Covid really well, and the new-ish expansion is really great.”

The staff is constantly moving about making sure that not only "the parents" are kept informed and assured but that their pets are also calmed as much as possible. Dr Francioli is unbelievable. From the moment I called to make our first appointment to the post-appointment email asking how our dog was doing after his shots, everything felt good: professional, yet personable. The clinic facility is clean and open and Sayaka, our vet tech, was amazing. Our dog was seen by Dr. Spellmeyer and I appreciated her thorough, yet gentle approach with him. He was anxious, but she was patient with him. We received, via email, a complete report on the results of all the lab work and as mentioned an email checking in on his welfare after our visit. “We have been dealing with a skin condition with our Shih Tzu (Chanel) for a year and half. Her condition had caused her to loose much of her hair, with her skin bright red and brown spots forming all over her.We had been to three previous vets with no results. Dr Ray, spent almost a hour with us explaining her condition and a course of action. This was six weeks ago and we have followed his recommendations. Chanel has now started growing her hair back, redness in skin is gone, with the brown spots on skin fading almost completely away. She is now more active and like her previous self before all this happened to her.We wanted to say a special thanks to Dr Ray and his staff for all the great customer service and professionalism.”

“This review is for the boarding facility!! Incredible. We needed to board our babies (3 pups) for almost 2 weeks and Cabrillo pet care center was incredible. I know our babies were well taken care of based on the way they were when we picked them up! One of our dogs is very high maintenance/ anxiety on quite a few meds and based on how she was at pick up, I know she was comfortable and felt safe. I did add baths for before pick up and they smelled so good!! Definitely recommend. (We also added walks every other day!)”

“Eye Care for animals in San Diego is truly the best. My dog had swollen eyes and sudden blindness, and it was truly the scariest experience I've had in pet ownership so far. While his regular vet diagnosed him with general irritation and sent us home with painkillers, Dr. Venturi diagnosed him with retinal detachment + started him on a steroid that eventually restored his vision. If you need a sign to see a specialist, this is it!Their team not only provided top notch and experienced care to my dog, but also compassion and kindness to me when I was an absolute mess of a person. I probably texted them 10+ times a week during his recovery, and their team always provided quick, detailed, and kind responses. I am the first to admit I can be a difficult client, as I travel for work frequently + have bad anxiety when it comes to my dog's health, but I was always surprised and thankful for the team's patience with me. Not to mention their patience with my dog --- he HATES his eye exams, but Dr. Venturi and her talented vet techs can always get him to comply with creative tips and tricks.While no vet care is inexpensive, Eye Care for Animals provides much more than value than they cost. They explain every charge to me, and even ask me if I want to move forward with additional recommended treatment with them/ask me if it would be cheaper at my regular vet. They also recommended pharmacies and coupons to keep my medication cost down. I've never had a vet support me in that way, and it was a massive help.I can't say enough about this clinic. You hope you don't need to come in, but when you do, you hope it's an experience like this one. THANK YOU!”

“As a dog trainer I interact with a number of local Veterinarians quite frequently for referrals or consults on behavior challenges or training help. Not every experience has been memorable in a good way. This place however is really great. I lived above an animal hospital for 16 years, so I rarely had the occasion to need to go elsewhere when I had all I needed litterally downstairs. I recently had a situation with our cat that required a second opinion and consult and reached out to Dr Morizi for help. My wife and I came to see Dr. Morizi at Villiage Vet that very same day. She was kind enough to fit us in to a tight window for scheduling. I sat in for the entire visit with Dr Morizi with our cat Syd and my wife. It was the most informative caring and compassionate vet visit ive ever had. She took her time, was very informative, explained everything to ensure we knew what the situation was, and she offered competent expert help from her network of professionals in specialty animal care service should further help be needed. I cant say enough good things about the Villiage Vet...from the always happy and friendly Linda in the front to the complimentary coffee to the cleanliness of the patient rooms. I will surely be a client here from this visit on. (Today was actually our third visit)If you are considering this vet...please just go...you wont be dissapointed.Thanks Dr. Morizi!”
