Excellent first experience! Extremely compassionate, patient, thorough, and absolutely zero pressure to buy prescriptions we couldn't afford or do costly diagnostics. Instead we were offered alternatives with consideration of our budget and also the reality of our senior dog's limited days. Dr Gilabert shared her own personal experiences with beloved pets that were beyond treatment options and how making them comfortable was the best course of care. She put together a very inexpensive palliative care plan which has already brought soothing for both us and our dog. Every staff member made us feel heard and seen. From Jasmine, to Alex, Dr Gilabert and Lori. We received follow up calls offering additional solutions for our dog's mobility and care. This clinic truly went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. Our only regret was not finding this clinic sooner.

The staff at this place is always super friendly, courteous. I would give a rating of 5 if it wasn't for the difficulty of scheduling a appointment. Always a shortage of Vets. And when I call to schedule a appt, it seems I'm always " #4 in the Q".

They are fantastic. The staff is great, they are friendly, professional and knowledgeable . I have taken my Charlie there because of the Vet.,Dr.Gilabert, she is outstanding and is very thorough with examining the animals. I only bring my Charlie to Animal Samaritans, because of the care that he receives. It is worth the drive from Yucca Valley down to the Indio office for me , because I know that the Doctor and the techs ,along with the staff are outstanding and have always taken great care of my dogs. Dr. Gilabert has taken care of one of my other dogs, but at some different location , and I will continue to keep coming back for them to take care of my pets.

I was referred to this place because apparently they “help those in need and have a heart for animals” but its not true. the woman i spoke to on the phone was so condescending and rude to me and spoke to me like i was stupid. she said it would probably be over $2000 for a tooth removal in my senior cat and when i asked her if they have any assistance programs to help with the payment she scoffed and asked if i was a senior. when i said no she said theres nothing they can do for me and hung up before i finished asking my questions.
another experience, but my dog got out when he was being pet-sat and someone brought him to this shelter. once we found him and went to the shelter, they decided to charge me over $200 just to get him out of there. they gave him shots and microchipped him before i even contacted them and decided to charge ME for it even though i didnt consent and he already had all his shots. i love my dog and knew if i didnt agree to pay what they were demanding, that they wouldnt give him back to me so i payed it anyways because i didnt have his past paperwork, but this place is a money scam. so disappointed in all of this.
