Auto Mall Collision was contracted to make a repair on my 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. The repairs were contracted after La Quinta Chevrolet scratched my driver door on July 1st, 2024, during the vehicles first oil change.
La Quinta Chevrolet caused an approximate 1-inch scratch (down to bare metal) below the driver door handle, along with 2 smaller scratch dots beside it (shown in first photograph).
Auto Mall Collision took possession of my vehicle on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024 and assumed responsibility for the repairs. I was informed they repainted both my driver side doors (Driver & Rear Driver Door for blending).
I was advised by La Quinta Chevrolet my vehicle was dropped off by Auto Mall Collision and ready for pick-up on Monday, July 15th, 2024.
I arrived at La Quinta Chevrolet and inspected my truck prior to assuming possession of the vehicle and located several imperfections in the paint to the doors, along with a new chip to the paint along the edge of the driver door (down to bare metal, shown in second photograph). The imperfections included several black spots within the paint under the clear coat (seen in the third & fourth photograph), several "fisheyes" (Bumps in paint) on the rear door which had no preexisting damage and a very poor masking job to the window trim.
I immediately informed the staff at La Quinta Chevrolet and they returned my truck back to Auto Mall Collision for a second paint job.
I was informed by Auto Mall Collision that my doors were repainted a second time and they would be more cautious to the quality control of the job. On July 27th, 2024, Auto Mall Collision returned my vehicle to La Quinta Chevrolet and I was informed by the La Quinta Chevrolet Staff that the job was once again not done correctly and there were more imperfections to the paint, specifically around the window trim and they returned the vehicle to Auto Mall Collision.
Auto Mall Collision stated they repainted my vehicle again for the THIRD time and would have it ready the following week. Auto Mall also had to order a new window trim due to the damage they caused. I contacted Auto Mall Collision directly several times during this incident and expressed my frustration professionally after the third time my vehicle needed to be repainted and was informed during the last conversation with an employee, "trust me, we don't want your vehicle here".
I received my vehicle back from La Quinta Chevrolet on August 2nd, 2024, an entire month after the damage was initially caused. There were small minuscule defects to the paint even after the third paint job (not major enough for me to decline possession). I located a horizontal large scratch to my driver door window and several scratches to the inner upper part of my door panel. My interior had several stains on the driver seat and center console. At this point, I was beyond upset with the amount of time I was out of my vehicle. Auto Mall Collision made it abundantly clear they did not care about my vehicle or quality of work they were contracted to execute.
I'm a civil person and understand the intention wasn't to damage my vehicle but at the end of the day this vehicle costs over $85,000 and is practically brand new with 4,600 miles. It is completely unacceptable for any body shop to need to repaint a vehicle three times to repair a simple small scratch. What was supposed to be a one week job at most, became a headache for over a month. Not to mention I needed to cancel a camping trip due to not having my tow vehicle.
La Quinta Chevrolet did their due diligence to make right of the situation and gave me a lifetime warranty for any further paint damage that follows from Auto Mall Collision's poor service.
If you care about your vehicle, do yourself a favor and do NOT take your vehicle here for any repairs.

After our car was hit by a drunk driver, our auto insurance, basically strong armed us into taking our car to auto mall collision . We received our car back after months of delays. And the turn signal didn’t work, the vehicle pulled, braked , and accelerated to the right side of the road. There was grease on the upholstery and a deep scratch on the driver’s side interior door molding. I immediately called them and took the vehicle back. They said they would fix the issue and kept the vehicle an additional 3 days. They called and said it was fixed and ready for pick up. Well I got in the vehicle and drove less then 25 feet from their shop and still they did not fix anything. And since it was a late Friday afternoon I couldn’t take it back to them. So I called the dealership and made arrangements for them to inspect auto mall collisions repair gob . And I’m telling you I am so glad I did. It was worth the money. Because the work that was done was such garbage. I’d like to use explicitive words to describe how they supposedly fixed our car. But pictures are worth a thousand words. They charged nearly $9-10,000. For their work. The dealership found roughly 6-7,000 dollars worth of additional damages that was ignored. The steering gear was wrong and installed crooked, rack and pinon , strut job control arm, under carriage , everything was just wrong and sloppy with the repairs. Not to mention that they scratched the hell out of the back sides of the hood and door from trying to straighten it up. The sway bat was out of alignment and bent which they didn’t replace either. Just so much underhanded stuff that I don’t have time to mention. But if this review doesn’t make you Leary of this place or the sublet they use then I wish you well. I would also like to mention that the vehicles suspension was altered making the vehicle higher on the driver side than the passenger side. And the only time it drove straight was on Gene Autry rd going into Palm Springs. That’s how badly it was repaired.

Don’t get your car fix here unless you’re willing to wait weeks, even months to get it fix!Not just that many people had complained about them making insurance frauds. SPECIALLY SAM who has no communication towards their customers!WORSE PLACE EVER!

Has a 1:00 pm appointment for an insurance estimate-got there at 12:55-at 1:15 estimator was not there. The office area was very unkempt-empty bottles, food and parts etc. They may do good work but not the place for me to get my car repaired.

On my car, the rear bumper was damaged after a small accident. The insurance company agreed to the repair and sent me to the Auto Mall Collision. I brought the car, I was told that the replacement of the bumper would take three days. As a result, the car was returned to me only on the third week. Yes, they changed the bumper and did a good job. But for some reason they decided not to tell me that they damaged the car... I was checking only rear bumper when I was picking up my car from the body shop and didn't see new damages. I only found it when I arrived home...The bodyshop employee drove the car from the bodyshop to the dealer and back to calibrate the parking sensors. I guess that's when the new damage happened. It looks like hitting a stone or a curb. I called them as soon as I saw the damage. Tomorrow morning I will take the car to them again ...

Don’t recommend this shop at all don’t let it be your first choice took my car in to get repainted because paint started peeling off after a year then they return my car to me with my rims scratched Don, said they would take care of it but it’s been almost 2 months and I haven’t heard from them

We recently purchased a used Jeep and it needed a minor repair to the fiberglass top. Don was very accurate on the quote and the repair was done within the time promised. The repair was remarkable! Perfectly done! We would highly recommend this reputable business. It's nice to find a business that says what they do, and does what they said!

I stopped at a half a dozen different auto paint shops looking to get my sprinter van painted. I ultimately decided to use this place and I'm so glad that I did. I was so happy with the timing and the quality of work. The price was fair. Sam was great anytime I need auto body work. I'll be coming here and I'll sing their praises to anyone who will listen. I had an accident for about a month and a half and it's time that they don't solve anything for me, dial and they always tell me that they will call me back and they don't do it. I called them and they tell me that they need a piece to be able to start that that will take 2 to 3 more months apart from the almost 2 that you have there.Service: General repairs & maintenance
