“I tried to get a shingles shot from the CVS on Jackson and 42nd. I was the first in line before they even opened. There was no one else in line but me. When they finally opened their window I spoke to one of the pharmacist that told me in fact they had the vaccine, but I could not get the vaccine unless I had an appointment. Now, I've made two different appointments online with Walgreens, I go at my scheduled day and time and they tell me, "Oh we don't check the online site for appointments you just need to come in and if we have time we'll give the shot. So I thought CVS probably worked the same way. So, I'm standing in the store trying to go online and make an appointment but the site wants to send me to Palm Springs even though I'm in Indio. Do you think anyone there would help or assist me..... no! They were of no help. I quit going to CVS many years ago for different reasons and problems with the pharmacy. I will never go back to a CVS again! I called Rite-Aid on Monroe and 48th, the person I spoke to was very nice and said you don't need an appointment for a Shingles shot. Come on down and we can do it right away! The pharmacist was also extremely nice! I highly recommend the pharmacy at Rite Aid on Monroe on 48th!”
