This location has been awesome! From the employee working the front to the supervisor. Hands down best customer service. I've never used rent a center in my life, but am using them for a rental. Even when an item was not delivered the manager handled it professionally and promptly. Thank you!

While the salesman that helped me was really nice, he failed to inform me that I had the option to pickup my furniture instead of waiting for their long wait delivery. Then he blamed me for not asking for the option. I didn’t know they were short handed and def wasn’t aware of their often changing policies. The app stated a date for delivery and he stated that wasn’t the truth. I don’t understand why have the app that informs us of things happening in our accounts if it’s not the truth.

I've been waiting months for some furniture that was delayed because of COVID. I called TENT A CENTER, looked at what was available, ordered and received the couch and loveseat a couple of days later and the couch and love seat were NEW with tags. Not my style but very good quality, comfortable and such an easy process. And so low cost! The young woman I dealt with on the phone, never went in to the store, was very helpful, friendly and professional. I had a very good experience so I'm not sure why other reviewers had bad experiences. Highly recommend and I would use them again. Definitely!

Bought lots of furniture and washer and dryer from here. After being on-time customers paying everything off ahead of time, we went back and ordered a stove before Valentine's day. Here were are in May and no stove yet, no follow ups. I called and they gave me the district managers # to call and voice my concern. I left him a message and never called back. 12 weeks waiting for a stove and no call back shows they don't care about long term, on -time customers. I have cancelled our order and will start using another company.

I had a very positive experience at the Indio store. I went in a little stressed my washing machine gave out. The staff was very compassionate and helpful. The application process was done quickly. Delivery date was set before I left the office. All my worries gone. Thank you to the staff. Very kind and efficient people working at the Indio office.Kindly Audie Nava

HORRENDOUS. If I could give 0 stars I would. Rude, not compassionate, and not helpful to their customers. ESPECIALLY DURING COVID. I understand about the missed payments, I get that they're doing their jobs. But my hubby is the one who pays the account and is out of town for work related business so he missed the payment this week. Tell me how a group of Rent-A-Center men comes to my home in a big rent a center semi truck like they're some kind of tow company LOL and ring my doorbell 22 times and loudly and obnoxiously banged on the door like policemen for 18 minutes. Yes I timed it. And I was sitting in the tub. To make matters WORSE, one of the men jumped my gate to my backyard for god knows what??? Maybe to look in my window like some kind of freak??? I have never been so upset and scared in my life..... over Rent-A-Center workers. I even have multiple neighbor witnesses who all saw it as well. This is just plain HARRASSMENT. At this point I'd rather hand wash my clothes then have a bunch of no-good no brained employees hold two materialistic machines over my head. And mind you, these are more than halfway paid off. Unprofessional. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!! Aaron's also does furniture rentals and now MOST furniture websites will allow you to do Flexpay, Afterpay, or other payment installments!!! EVEN ROOMS TO GO OFFERS THAT!!! Please please steer clear of Rent-A-Center. They have no compassion towards their customers and they treat you like you're good for nothing broke criminals when you miss a payment. Especially during times like these, companies like this should be more understanding. Even landlords out there are more understanding than them during this pandemic, and they have WAY MORE to lose. GET A REAL JOB. Stop acting like you're cops or tow company workers. And if thats the case, then switch professions. Because what happened this week is unacceptable!!!! Thank you and don't have a great day!

I wanted to put my experience down with this particular location. I am honestly surprised with the other reviews that I am reading that are negative. My family signed a contract to pay on a certain day, which is obviously customary. However, unfortunately for us we were not able to fulfill our payment on time. Marlon went over and beyond to work with us to make sure we were able to keep a refrigerator in our home for our kids. He was professional and kind. We are all extremely grateful. Thank you again!

Worst place to ever buy anything . So rude not worth our money . Save it and look some where else . My mom has never experienced such a nasty company like this one . If we would of known we would of never purchased. They try to over charge you for any little thing even when your so good on your payments .

Stay clear of this place, you can thank me later. We had not been to this establishment in years, virus or not, there's a reason why it was empty when we arrived. The manager, I'm assuming he was the manager, is very rude and unprofessional. Upon returning our business, there have been alot of changes to policies of the store which are going to be questioned. Each answer by this "manager" was answered with attitude and very unprofessionally. This is not the first review directed toward this person and it seems as though nothing has been done. A call to corporate is on it's way so that this can be addressed. I'm doing you a favor buy suggesting you steer clear of this place.
