Sent this email to Neil Sullivan. "On Nov 23, 2021 I placed an order with Julie Evans for shutters and blinds. The install date was set for January 18, 2022. Shortly before the install date, Julie informed me there were delays with the blinds and they would not be in until February. January 18 the shutters were indeed installed. It was a professional installation and I am very happy with the shutters. HOWEVER......February came and went with no communication from Sullivan's - and no blinds. Finally on March 8, I received an email from Julie stating they would be delivered to Sullivan's by March 18. Again, March 18 passed with no communication. I called in and spoke to a female who was basically trying to tell me I would never have been told they were arriving by March 18th. I had to read the email from Julie to her to convince her I had been told this. I was told I would be contacted. Another week - no communication. Called again - again got a female who said they had no idea when the blinds would be in but that the staff had all had a "huddle" and discussed that they would be in touch with each customer with delays on a weekly basis to keep them updated as they were aware of customer frustration. Surprise, surprise. No communication from Sullivan's Shutters. So much for your "huddle" on customer service - if it ever really occurred. May 2 - called and got someone who refused to even take a message - they worked in the stone part and have no contact with the shutter side. May 2 - called back later and spoke to Cynthia - "no idea, still on back order, someone will call you". No calls. May 18 - called and spoke to Cynthia who said they were getting other Hunter Douglas products from more recently placed orders. At which time I pointed out that it seems like my order was lost and the only "checking" is just repeatedly looking at the same backordered notice without any effort to have someone on either the Sullivan's or the Hunter Douglas end look in to what has actually happened to my order. I wanted to speak to a manager. Cynthia told me her manager was Howard and she would have him get in touch with me. I have yet to hear from Howard. May 18 - I finally received an email from Julie with a time stamp of 9:47pm stating the ship date was May 18 and that she started a "case" with Hunter Douglas. (Perhaps a "case" should have been started in March....???) May 19 - Received another email from Julie that included a forward from Hunter Douglas that "your order is in the process of being worked on as it's from January" and they expected to ship on 6/3. May 19 - I called Julie and agreed to wait the additional 2 1/2 weeks as I had already waited SIX MONTHS for these blinds. I did question her as to why the email said the order was from January when the order was placed November 23, 2021 -not January. Her reply was that she wondered about that too -- not that she checked on why there was this blatant discrepancy and was the correct order being referenced. She said they would work the installation into the schedule as soon as possible. I expressed that installation should be a priority after this much of a delay and that if Sullivan's had to pay the install crew overtime to install these in a timely manner, then that was the least Sullivan's could do. She replied that the crews work very long days and are tired. (I am tired of waiting for blinds....) May 29 - Received email from Julie stating blinds had been shipped May 31 - Received email from Julie stating delivery date to Sullivan's was to be June 2 and Cynthia would call and set up installation date. June 2 - Cynthia did call and an install date was set for Monday June 13 between 1-3pm. June 13 - My husband was present for the install as I was working. The blinds were completely the wrong size - significantly too wide and too short. Sullivan's Shutter Factory is the best shutter manufacturer and installer in the region. The whole experience was a breeze from the quote to completion. My quote was provided by email and once accepted, Neil Sullivan and his interior decorator visited my home to confirm window measurements, provided a sample of the shutter and color, received my deposit and had their scheduler contact me and scheduled the job for after my shutters were manufactured. The installer, Sergio (and his assistant Maribelle), were polite, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. The shutters for my sliders did not fit the application; no problem. They refabricated them, scheduled installation 2 weeks later, and finished the job. The wood has a lifetime warranty and labor guaranteed for a year. I recommend Sullivan's over any other local source. I prefer giving my business to local family owned businesses as opposed to conglomerate corporations who tend to contract their installations to third party contractors. The outcomes tend to be less favorable.

My experience at Sullivan's was excellent all around - Service, quality of workmanship, timeliness and price were all 5-stars! Angela helped me find the perfect, unique granite remnant for a small tabletop to go with a mid-century tulip base, and I couldn't be more pleased! The owner was also super helpful in designing the beveled edge just the way I wanted it. The piece was finished exactly when promised for a very fair price...thanks Sullivan's!

Sullivan's replaced the counters in my kitchen with brand new beautiful quartz. The owner, Neil, was very supportive and helpful during the selection phase, helping us match the material and color with our existing kitchen palette. We were impressed with the precision high-tech measurements taken by Geoff, ensuring a perfect and snug fit for our new counters. The installation team did an outstanding job, ensuring that the installation was done with precision and care. The finished product was perfect. They thoroughly cleaned up when the project was complete. All around a great job. I have no hesitation recommending Sullivan's for new counter tops.

Dealing with Sullivan's was not what others stated. I found Neil Sullivan to be rude and uncooperative. I talked with him three times by phone about the size of the sink hole that my plumbers requested and he argued with me that he could not do this. He talked over me while I was talking with him and he did the same with my plumber, he was rude and very unprofessional. Besides this the hole for the faucet and the hole for the sink was off center. The granite itself is wonderful and professionally installed. The second half of the purchase price was even charged to my credit card without informing me first.

Under any circumstances Sullivan's provides an extraordinary level of customer service and a great product at a reasonable price. Under current circumstances where customer service seems to be of little importance to many businesses, it was a pleasure doing business with them. We bought shutters for our master bedroom, living and dining room (soon we'll add guest bedroom and office). Mary came early (after calling to see if okay) to measure and share her expertise. Cynthia quickly followed up with cost and after approval an installation date. She called about a month early to ask if they could do sooner, but we had not had awful blinds removed and patched yet. Today was install date. They were running a little late, but Cynthia called within their window to let us know. The crew of two arrived and executed quickly and efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. We could not be more pleased with the entire experience and finished product. Highly recommend!

Julie Evans was so wonderful working with us to install Shutters in our new home. From helping us with suggestions on the style and finishes and then getting the shutters installed so fast. Sullivan also stands behind their product 100% up to and including and repairs that may be needed. We had some louvers that needed a repair and when the staff was booked the owner Neil Sullivan himself came out to make the minor repair. Unlike going to Lowe's or Home Depot you have to go through so many people to get to the extension only to be told you will need to call this number and maybe have the call dropped not so with Sullivan Shutters. Thank you so much for the personal attention.... You cannot find that very often any more.

I've worked with Sullivans on a couple of different projects. The quality of work is top notch, great turnaround time, and the pricing was very fair. I've worked with Angela each time, and we've formed a great relationship/friendship. I'll follow her anywhere she goes, a true asset to the business.

The person measuring is incompetent and rude. Apparently if you have the sink cut and placed prior to their templating process they consider it irrelevant and place the sinks where they want them. Such a disappointment. Thousands of dollars wasted.

I thought I had finally found a professional and responsible company for granite countertops, I thought wrong. After a long measuring and order process, my countertops arrived 3 weeks later and both sink holes were wrong. After a long discussion with the installation personnel and the owner of the company I was pretty much told it was my fault and my cabinet guys fault. The young lady who does the measuring and camera templating is apparently as incompetent as she is rude. They will not cut sinks in any location of center of cabinet regardless of your placement prior to templating. If you do business prepare to be frustrated from beginning to end, and after all of that prepare to be very disappointed.
