The staff has changed along with the ethics. I wish they were more informative, I was told to wait on some medication, then a week later, they tell me it maybe months why didn’t they tell me in that in the first place I could of went somewhere else just recently I had the doctor call over for refill, then when I called they said they closed that medications I was in awe. It was a antibiotic that my body needed to counter the IV infusion for cancer side effects. I just got off the phone they were very rude this can’t go unnoticed totallyunprofessional.

Person entering Medicare info for me in order to get my prescription didn't do it correctly and said the medication is not covered. I knew that was not true since I get it filled at my Rite Aid in my hometown. Went to the local Rite Aid and like always it was covered. Totally ridiculous and should never happen.

Came in for a COVID booster. Made an appointment on-line with Walgreens.com and it was very easy. Showed up for our appointments with our paperwork pre-filled out. The people in the pharmacy were very good and worked diligently trying to enter the appropriate info in their computer system. It appears, that whole Walgreens solicits customers for Immunizations, their system does not work well with commonly used insurance, like Medicare and Kaiser. We stood at the Pharmacy window for almost 30 minutes while their people attempted to enter the data, over and over. Then we had to wait for the booster. Why make appointments if you can't honor them within a reasonable amount of time?

I waited in the drive thru pharmacy line for 20 minutes for the second time this week just to find out my order was never placed....again. Been coming here for years but recently it's been consistently horrible!! Avoid this place if you value your time.

I received a generic brand medication when I wanted a specific medication refill, I did not want to return the medication I just wanted to know how to proceed to change the prescription. I was yelled at and cut off multiply times and told I was at fault for accepting the generic brand. I was told to call my doctor because they won't take the medication back or refill which I understood but the tone used against me was very unprofessional.

Went to this Walgreens to upload my Cash app card. On the app it said this location and all Walgreens do this service. Upon arrival the associates and managers refused to upload it because the app asks you to scan a code. They refused to scan it or work with me I had to drive to a 711 where they did it no problem. Obviously the employees were untrained. I'm giving you cash not taking it so I don't see what the problem was. And if there was a problem they could have called a higher associate to find out the procedures but they were unwilling to work with me. Next time I'll just take my buisness elsewhere.

Not only is this one bad but they all bad in Indio. The pharmacy has the worst employees ever. No wonder they are offering incentives to work there because they hire a bunch of idiots. The staff in Walgreens in the store is helpful but if you need to go to a pharmacy I would recommend Cvs or rite aid. At least they won't miscommunicate and they stick to their word. The only one that I have seen run well is in Bermuda Dunes. Tell me what your experience is...lol

Just stopped in for a few things we needed, and had the pleasure of being checked out by Brenda. She was very sweet and helpful and went above and beyond in assisting us with our questions. Thank you Brenda for the exceptional service!

Riverside county has a mask order due to Coronavirus. Why do pharmacists not wear masks? I am shocked. In addition I understand that we are all a little stressed about things right now. HOWEVER please consider that if your in a role like a pharmacist or staff it's important to not be unkind it may prevent a patron from asking a question about their meds.

We have used this pharmacy for the months we winter in Indio. I'm questioning my choice to use them again this year. After using them last winter, they would automatically renew prescriptions and we repeatedly told them not to do this & they would do it again. We hesitantly used them again this winter & they are extremely slow in contacting our home pharmacy to transfer the script, or in contacting our doctor when there are no refills left. I currently have a prescription I'm waiting on......I've been in 4 times to pick it up & have been told a different story every time. We will be going back to the Midwest soon and will NEVER deal with this pharmacy again.
