Terrible customer service.I was told there is no manager to speak to.My reservation was made then I had to go to 2 separate locations to not get the car I reserved then was charged more than was expected for a vehicle I did not reserve. This will be the last time I use them.I would have gave the 0 stars if that was an option.

I have been a customer since 06/2023 I put over 20,000 miles on my bolt and had issues with the battery.I wanted to exchange it which I thought was possible since it’s a rental. But Raul refused to give me one. I will find another Avis who was my $390.00 a week for my Uber rental since Raul doesn’t want my business.

So the young lady others are speaking name is Jessica. Her customer service is terrible & the heavy set guy whom was in charge was of no help.Booked the rental through my work discount at work to avoid any hassle on arrival. They questioned my discount asked for all this other stuff ,& after even telling them and calling my employ they wouldn’t honor it.I guess because of the great discount we get they didn’t want me getting that price.fortunately for us my wife’s a Union meme wr and we used her discount which still was good and my employer sent me funds because of the hassle and inconvenience.they told us to bring the car back with same gas amount 3/4 tank full which we did and the guy who took the return charged us even after saying we where good.Had to call corporate and they’re issuing a fuel service refund.the car was nice but this unprofessional service isn’t worth it this was on October 5th 2023

Regarding the Uber service they have a Very good level of assistance, and provide a much needed value to the Uber workforce, once you understand that this location is actually a niche local service attempting to use 2 highly complicated international apps in ways that even the apps aren't normally capable of being used. So Instead of assuming that 'Uber or Avis international' apps are fully capable of getting you started, you might want to walk in IRL, then their professional desk staff will quickly help you out, and they'll deliver on their promises everytime -- and if there's any hiccups, just head over IRL again or call, and they will bring the "local business" level of assistance. Do not blame the local team if the international Avis & Uber apps have glitches or send scary mistaken 'overdue' or 'invalid car' messages. I had these issues majorly at first. And I took it out on them. The uber app is a massive international group 99% geared for longterm private car owners. And the international Avis app seems 99% geared for very VERY short-term travelers who don't drive much at all. So This local team is providing a very important service -- cars for non-owner non-travelers who need to drive a bunch for work . But that's not easily accomplished by either apps at this point in time . So the local team is doing what seems like a super complicated thing, and the international versions of both apps seem to have apparently told the local place, "yea it's complex but you're on your own, our apps aren't fully supporting this smoothly yet". So if you 'book something' somewhere in the uber app or in the general Avis website and it's not at the local building, or your rental has a return time listed on the general Avis website that doesn't perfectly match with the local office's hours, consider that this is due to the local office being essentially a 'small business' getting the cold shoulder from the bigger offices that don't want to invest a ton of infrastructure that would help the local team sync with the 2 apps. Instead of freaking out about the apps when there's issues -- Just walk in, talk to them, and it's very simple: honor your contract, pay the bills, respect their property (like don't smoke or spill everywhere!) , and I've never had problems as long as I do that. Special shout-outs to Raul, he has dealt with me at my angriest and most misinformed, when I was blaming the local team for not perfectly matching with the international apps, and it took my a while to realize that they're probably "on their own" a ton but they can't say it. So I am here saying it. They're probably not getting much support from Uber or Avis. But they provide something that should be more supported and I think it will be eventually. Again Just walk in, deal with them directly, and it'll be a solid value exchange. If the Uber or Avis apps do send you a scary alert, despite paying your bills and having documents properly uploaded -- don't worry or immediately freak out like i did. Walk over there. It's always been fine for me. The local office is basically providing a service that's not fully , smoothly supported on either app yet. So they're a bit ahead of their time. It'll get more support probably in the meantime id Give them a break regarding software. It has always been resolved by me just being there IRL.

Came here after issues with another rental company and already in a bad mood. They were kind and courteous and did everything they could to get me in a car and on the road. Raul was very kind and patient and made it possible for me to get a car and make my flight home. Coming directly here next time I visit LA. Car was clean, smelled fresh and I absolutely love it. Only waited a couple of minutes to be served and the entire exchange probably took only 10 minutes itself.

I experienced discriminatory behavior at the Avis-Budget car rental counter. After presenting my Israeli ID, the agent at the counter made an inappropriate comment suggesting that Israelis fake their IDs. His attitude noticeably changed and he treated me unfairly, ultimately leading to an insult. He claimed to be the boss

When I pick up the car receptionist was nice , but when I return it and get a new vehicle she was awful and literally want me to do their job from them, like if I was getting it for free. Hope they can be more professional on the future

They won't let you check the car for damage before signing! So they can blame you later for any damage! This is Avis (Uber rental)

They did not provide the car(even a similar car) I reserved on online instead they gave different car. Their car management system is not organized.I returned a car on the scheduled day but Budget charged me way a lot more than contracted amount since Budget calculated I returned the car one day late. I called and talked 5 people in Customer Service dept all day long and even next day. They did poor job. Nobody is helping me clearly. I have no choice but to call my credit card company and ask to open a dispute for the issue. I will never use Budget Rental Car Company in my life anymore.

If I could give this location zero stars, I would. I reserved a SUV for pickup at 11:30. We show up and the girl says that the Rav-4 needs new tires and will take an hour (they'd give us a call). We didn't get a call and came back at 1 pm. Wait around again for about 15 minutes only for the guy to tell us that the car won't be ready for at least another hour and they can offer an Altima as a replacement at the same price. EXCUSE ME?!! A regular sedan in place of a SUV for the same price??? We obviously needed the SUV for the space! Why in the world would they tell us it would be an hour then? THEY ARE LEGITIMATELY THE WORST. Not only did they not honor my rental agreement, but wasted our time! Honestly, the worst rental experience I've ever had. THE WORST. Avoid, avoid, AVOID this place.

Poor service. Avoid going to this location. My pick up time was 5:00 pm. I arrived at the door at 5:01pm. The door was locked and the employees waved me off stating We're closed!

I'm not quite sure why there are so many poor reviews for this location. Due to a $200 savings compared to airport rental, we decided to give this location a try and I'm glad we did.Quick service during pickup and return. We rented a full size van (12 passenger Ford Transit XLT 350) from Costco and the vehicle was available at the scheduled time. The car (almost 50,000 miles) had seen better days but it got us from Point A to Point B for 2 weeks. The drop off process was quick and took like 1 minute so very comparable to the airport. I ordered a Lyft and got back to LAX in about 15-20 minutes including wait time. It cost $15.
