So I was shopping for something more fuel efficient because I live about an hour and 45 mins from my work. Which I bought a 2016 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. I found something here at CarMax and I had the most pleasurable experience from every person I came into contact with. It started with a guy name Shon over the phone, then I was shifted a lady I think her name was Rainelle. Due to some issues with the car they had to order a apart , and so they did which pushed it back for about 2 weeks. So now it was time to go into the store for my express pick up. My card was acting crazy and because of my work schedule I postponed it for another week. I ended up speaking with a Myra and she was nothing but kind and courteous. She was gonna be off when I was due to come in on Friday 3/1/24, so she had me set up with a guy named Charles but he wasn't there when I got there, so I worked with Armando. When I tell you that this guy is awesome. He is the meaning of over the top of what a customer service agent/salesman that a person could be. He sat and kept me engaged well they washed the car. After it was all done he took me out and I asked a few questions about it because I didnt know how it charged and a few other things. He was so helpful and knowledgeable about the car. Long story short I would definitely recommend CarMax to my friends and family, and I would tell them to ask for Armando Moreno. I discovered that in the trunk it was missing the support to hold up the trunk liner and he did a service request it right away, and told me I should be hearing from someone on Monday.

Antonio was nice enough and as helpful as he could be but also made me feel inferior for not knowing the process of buying/financing my first car on my own. The car i went to see was dirty (dog hair everywhere) with a dozen undisclosed marks on the interior. Insane for the price they were asking. Took my business elsewhere and got a great car in much better condition for the same price.

Two stars because Carmax has followed through on my 30 day warranty. Now as for a particular employee that didn't know anything about cars, didn't offer us any information on comparable valued cars. I bet my kids know more about cars than this guy Elmer. He was short and rude. I hope you get better employees soon. Although I hear this location sells a great deal, the customer service at Burbank runs circles around this place. Please get better salesmen.

We wanted to sell our Scion and buy a fun car. We are loyal to Toyota so we went there to get a quote on our car. I expected around $10,000 but we were offered $7,000. We also didn't see any fun cars for sale either. We drove directly to CarMax and got a quote for $9,000. We accepted it and began looking through their California inventory. I found a Mazda MX5 in Fresno. They shipped it to our local CarMax for just $200. We loved it and bought it. I drove it directly to a mechanic for inspection. They found a bad battery, bad front tires and bad front brakes plus alignment. I brought it back and asked for those repairs. They inspected the car and agreed with the mechanic. They did all of the repairs and the car drives like new. Carlos L. was the salesman and Machele was the service writer. Both of them were great to deal with. I couldn't be happier. I will not be going back to the Toyota Dealership in Santa Monica, we live in Marina Del Rey and also won't go to that Toyota Dealership either. Cars are reliable and last a long time but I just don't trust the dealerships anymore. I have an honest independent mechanic that does excellent work.

I came in to return a car I had bought the previous week under the 30 day return policy. I was greeted cheerfully at the door and handed over to Stephanie, a manager, when I informed them I was there to return a recently purchased vehicle.She greeted me warmly, and never made me feel uncomfortable about having to return the vehicle. The process went very smoothly. I then proceeded to purchase a new vehicle through her, which I was much more satisfied with. She was tremendous with me during our search for a new vehicle, and we found pretty much exactly what I was looking for.The return and the new purchase went smoothly and easily, and took about the expected amount of time I thought it would. Stephanie answered all my questions before I left, and I felt secure with this new purchase.It is now weeks later and I am updating this review. I took my new vehicle to my mechanic to have it checked out after I purchased it. He told me it was very clean and in good condition except the front brakes were about 50% worn and the battery was leaking acid. He recommended I take it to CarMax Service where I bought the car and see if they would fix these issues under the 90 Limited Warranty. I did....and they did! They stood by their warranty and after checking out those two issues on my car, installed new front brakes and a new battery at no charge. The warranty covered both those issues and they couldn't have been nicer or more agreeable if they tried. It was not how I expected a service call to go from my past experiences at dealerships and auto repair shops. No hassle at all and really great customer service.

My family has purchased at least 4 vehicles from Carmax. i recently purchased a volvo XC90 after getting expert advice from our salesman (Canaan Peterson). Great experience from expert consulting to low pressure sales to quality service.

Samir was very courteous and gave top notch service. He was very knowledgeable about the process and made us feel comfortable in our decision to sell our car. The process was easy and we walked out with a check in hand the same day that was a good amount for the car we sold. We were very satisfied with CarMax and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to sell their car.
