They are very slow and they never have enough people working because you wait with one person ahead you à minimum 20 minutes. I will be moving my prescription to another service. Tomorrow for sure!!

I have been attempting to work with Costco Pharmacy for months now to file my medicine claims correctly with Optum with diagnosis codes. Every 30 days I go through this process and it takes hours of my time, hours of time by pharmacy personnel and hours of time by Presbyterian Health Plan and Optum staff. First, I say that the copay should be $0. (NM SB317 which was signed by the governor into law in 2021, states that some Rxs have a $0 copay). Even though every staff member behind the Costco pharmacy desk will say that you are liable for their non-zero copay, and that they have submitted the claim correctly with a diagnosis code, they have not. A call to PHP and Optum confirms each time that no diagnosis code was sent. I know the staff believe that they sent it, until I put them on the line with PHP's Optum. 1) First, they fault me for not understanding my plan. 2) They blame the doctor for submitting the Rx without a diagnosis code. 3) After that turns out not to be the case, they blame the insurance company for not processing it correctly (if you are lucky). 4) They get on the line with someone who can actually see the claims coming through in real-time and one Costco staff member learns that, yes, in fact, they are not sending diagnosis codes. 5) They spend another half hour to 45 minutes attempting to figure out how to enter it. One staff member actually succeeded one month but did not train the other staff and left no notes. This month they couldn't figure out how it was done the prior month. They said they would call tech support the next morning, straighten it out, and call me. I received no call. I received no text. (I sign up for all notifications from the get-go). There was none. I called later in the day and they had my prescription ready with a $0 copay. No apologies. No history. Summary: blame the customer, blame the doctor, blame the insurance company, blame the insurance's pharmacy contractor, acknowledge to *themselves only* that they did not do it properly, no communication with the customer, no training or attempts to correct future issues or to make the process more efficient. Corporate culture is Blame anyone (not the process), Learn and Forget. Let the customer deal with the fallout from their incompetence again and again until the customer pays or gives up and leaves. No process improvement. And all communication is made in a take-it-or-leave-it attitude. I don't feel safe at this pharmacy. I am not a human being, only a punching bag. Advice: 1) use a mail order service (doesn't require the pharmacy). 2) use a different pharmacy? I tried Walgreens, same problem initially except that most times they remember the choices they made the prior month. And sometimes they forget.. I calculated an estimate of money lost by their customers to incorrect copays, based on my experience and stats from the state, and it is up to $5 million at Costco pharmacy alone, $25 million state-wide. Yes, we pay for their errors. Unfortunately, the NM Office of the Superintendent of Insurance doesn't clearly consider this malfeasance. So, you have no recourse except to leave a long detailed review online. A class action suit is *so* needed.

During my recent visit to the Costco pharmacy Stephanie. I encountered this employee who displayed a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy. Their behavior was not only disappointing but also disrespectful. They seemed uninterested in assisting customers and appeared to have a dismissive attitude towards their concerns. Not only did the employee fail to address my questions adequately, but they also made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Their rude demeanor created an unwelcoming atmosphere, which is unacceptable for any customer-facing role, especially in a healthcare setting. In addition to the employee's behavior, the overall customer service experience at the Costco pharmacy was lacking. The wait times were long, and the communication between staff and customers was poor. It seemed as though there was a lack of organization and efficiency, which only added to the frustration. Customer service is a critical aspect of any pharmacy, and it is essential for employees to be knowledgeable, helpful, and respectful. Unfortunately, my experience at the Costco pharmacy fell short of these expectations, leaving me with a negative impression. I hope that Costco takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issues with their pharmacy's customer service. It's crucial for them to prioritize training and ensure that all employees understand the importance of providing excellent service to every customer.

Hand delivered a written prescription for heartgard for my dog. after showing me the product the clerk said I could pick it up in an hour. Couldn't wait so I said I'll pick it up Friday, this was Tuesday. Went to pick it up the next day said it would be ready in an hour. WTF! Same thing happened with a prescription for my wife, DR. called it in Costco said they received it and it would be ready to pick it up in an hour. Showed up and the pharmacist said it would be ready in an hour. Moral of the story: Costco sucks at pharmacy customer service. Doesn't matter when you submit it by call in or doctor call in, they won't fill it until you show up to pick it up.

I had a bad experience with Soledad in pharmacy on more than 4 occasions, she’s very unprofessional, poor people skills, very much in need of being retrained , management needs to really take a look into how Soledad talk / treat there customers, she has a very Stank Attitude, not to mention! One day she had me wait for over an hour telling me that she was checking on my medication and left and went to lunch , Another lady called me back to the counter 15 mins later telling me that she had left , that was Totally Unacceptably And Disrespectful , RETRAIN ASAP she very nasty with the costumers..!

The management team really needs to know how Nasty of a person Soledad in the pharmacy department is she's Very ( UNPROFESSIONAL ) don't know how to talk to people, raises her voice ,I have had a bad experience with this person on four different occasions, she had me wait for my medication one day and never came back, after telling me that she was checking on it I was asking her about the COVID-19 shot because she was calling the people in trust me when I say that she looked at me like I had Crap on me and never once answered weather or not I would have needed a appointment to have the shot, Soledad put the N in NASTY Inglewood Costco have nice people with the exception of Soledad in Phamacy and every time she has given me my medication, it always cost me more, I have asked to speak with someone else multiple times and the price was fixed at a lower rate. Retraining is recommended for this nasty bad attitude woman..!

The lines were long as expected. I was ok with that until Juan B decided to allow a customer to split his transaction along with the lady he was with...using the same membership card. I asked him could they keep it going because I've been waiting and Juan says "let me do my job". Juan B should have done his job in the first place by not allowing customers to split their transaction rather than giving a subtotal.

The cashiers are incredibly rude, we were attended by a woman named Idalia V. and not only was she unnecessarily rude but she had a very disagreeable personality. My husband wanted to purchase something separately and she didn't allow him to do so simply because the Costco card wasn't at his name. Although this location has a wider variety, the staff particularly the cashiers are unpleasant. I suggest Costco to hire new cashiers that actually want to work there.

This costco is my go to location since its close to my house and is usually well stocked. Im leaving this review because the african american man with light colored eyes in the Meat department is always extremely helpful... (I need to get his name when I return) I was having a special event and needed a case of King Crab from the back since there were none left out in the coolers & He took the time to go across the store to another freezer to grab one for me I Really appreciate that he did this for me when he could have simply said " WE ARE SOLD OUT" I will get his name next but I just wanted to say THANKS 4 Helping me out each and every time
