Rinky dink place, but the food and atmosphere make up for it. The customers were friendly. The service was extraordinary. The owner cane out, the cook and the waitress all checked repeatedly. Great service. Because we represented a sorority, Many people spoke to us. One person actually paid for our meals! When we found out, we all cried. It was a wonderful spirit at Dulans, and we were thankful for everything that occurred. We'll be back the next time we go to L.A.

The food was all seasoned the same…. apparently with the same season. The dressing was void of the usual Sage and Poultry seasoning. It was truly a waste of $62.00.My card was compromised after the Dulan’s transaction and it was the last establishmentthat I used it. There were 5 transactions totaling$285.00 fraudulently. My future go to for southern food, will be my kitchen. From the time I placed my order, I waited 45 minutes.

My husband and I closed out our anniversary weekend eating at this AMAZING restaurant.... This is THE BEST Soul Food restaurant on this side of heaven-Yes, REALLY! We ordered the oxtails, turkey & dressing, mac-n-cheese, string beans, and collard greens. EVERY single menu item was DELICI?US!We were greeted and welcomed by the staff and the owner with sincere conversations and smiles, and was accommodated with every need to ensure our satisfaction.

Yall lied. This place might have been good back in three day but the only good thing about Dulans was Ms. Candance. we spent over $60 and threw the food away. The catfish and chicken seemed to be from yesterday and everything was not worth eating. The oxtails seemed old and microwaved. I'm so mad because I really wanted Fixins but someone talked me in to this place. ?

I've been going to the Inglewood Dulans for years and the food has always been consistently good. My wife loves the fried chicken and there red beans and rice are delicious. I've been getting the short rib meal for years and its for the most part always delicious. But recently I bought the short ribs dinner a couple times this month and I noticed they changed the cut of the meat to flanken cut short ribs that is now less seasoned and chewy like bubblegum. Very disappointing especially since the short rib dinner is one of the most expensive plates that they sale. Not sure if this is a temporary change but I hope they switch back to the original short ribs they were selling. If you're planning on trying the short ribs you might want to ask them if the short ribs are flanken and if they are I probably would choose a different meat. On a different note their peach cobbler is delicious

My son and I drove out from Rancho Cucamonga and visited the Crenshaw location on 4/13/24 for lunch. The wait time after ordering our food was less than 5 minutes, and our food was hot and delicious, and the portion sizes were worth the cost! The atmosphere was welcoming and very clean along with great music! The staff working that day were polite and friendly. There is valet parking also, but I was able to find a disabled parking spot on the side street. Indoor and outdoor dining is available. We also had the opportunity to meet Mr. Dulan, who was very kind to my son and I. My first visit to Dulan's was the location in Inglewood during the pandemic. But this location is hands down my go-to from now on.

Most delicious meal I have eaten in quite a while. Smothered pork chops, greens and red beans and rice with steaming hot corn bread muffins. Lunch serving was huge and taking half home for dinner. Also, service was spot on. (Failed to get his name). And manager stopped by to check on everything. .

Still good but I liked it better portion back in the day. Lunch is best time to go price wise. Idk how it is now but Sunday's was a long wait. The one flirty security that used to work there cool even tho I struggled parking in the lot every time ?

4/15/24– Wanted to try this place out to see what all of the hype was about. Called ahead (as the place closes at 8) to see if I could still sit down with my family at 7:05 arrival. The girl on the phone was very rude & said it would depend on if she wanted to close early or not. My family rushed over only for them to tell us the dining room closed at 7 & only pick up was available. Why this was not communicated on the phone before wasting our time, I will never understand. Guess Willie Mae’s will forever be the best soul food in Los Angeles.

Each time I visit, I try to order one item that I hadn't ordered before, along with the regular dishes. I mostly order a veggie plate. I don't have to have meat!

I love Dulan's. I'll admit, I usually go to Roscoe's but when I'm in need of something different and with larger portions I hit up Dulan's. We'll typically come for lunch and it is packed. Thankfully there is often a parking attendant standing in the parking lot who helps us squeeze in. My order usually consists of smothered fried pork chops or fried chicken with mac n cheese and collard greens. When I tell you it feels like the plate itself weighs 5lbs I'm not joking. They give you enough for two people. I devour it but try my best to save a little for later because baby when it's finished--I feel like crying because I always want to more. It's that good. I hear Dylan's is Ice Cube's fav soul food joint. He's definitely got good taste.
