The manager Tay is absolutely horrific for no good reason. A terrible representation for any business. I ask her if she could help me get a locked up product and she said "I'm not here for you at all. I don't like people" she then almost brushed past me and then helped her friend get another locked up product. I told my friend what happened and she then asked Tay why she would say something like that to a customer. Tay became irrate, aggressive, challenging, antagonistic loud and threatening. While i was checking out my items Tay removed her name tag so I couldn't get her name that way but a coworker of hers let me know. She is a absolute bully for no reason. A hateful woman. We went to vons to have a better selection of products and quality service but because of vons terrible choice of management . She put her hands on my face cussed at us and it was absolutely unnecessary. I have all of this on video as proof of the events.

This store itself is nice. However, the restroom is disgusting and always smells so awful. It wreaks of old urine and you can tell they only “straighten up” vs actually cleaning & disinfecting!! Probably should invest in automatic air freshener dispensers!
Also, a lot of the staff have attitude issues and lack courtesy and politeness!!! Really need to get it together especially the majority of the women

Had a horrible experience with Elizabeth, the Service Operations Manager. There was a situation where I purchased gift cards that were ineffective due to all the numbers not being visible after they were scratched off.
I reached out to her for help and instead of having good hospitality and customer service she gave attitude and was extremely unprofessional. She showed me 3 gift cards that she scratched off herself and basically said that it was my problem and to call eBay. She then said that there was nobody else in the store that I could speak to to resolve this issue.
Instead of politely asking to create a case for me, she made it sound like it was going to take her forever to complete the task and consistently said that it would take me a month to receive my refund. She also tried making me choose between only calling eBay or completing the case and said that I could not do both.
After I asked her why she had an attitude and why her tone was condescending her response was "Because I think this is just weird."
Overall I ended up getting the case through but still have not received any refund.

Large clean store, lots of choices. It had a bakery section and I had a particular penchant for the cheesy jalepeno bagel. The store has a free toilet and all the staff I spoke to (tills) were friendly. One woman packed my shopping which was nice. I insisted I didn't need that but she was happy to. The store also contained other little branches of stores within.
The only reason for a 4 star were the trolleys. A good amount of them won't come apart so you end up grabbing someone elses when they're done as they're bringing theirs back.
Location wise, walking distance from the bus station nearby so pretty handy.

They were completely out of an advertised item - like, the shelf was utterly empty. I tried to call the store a few days later to see if they'd received more stock. No one answered the phone after three tries. I called the corporate office and talked to a truly unintelligent rep, who was actually able to tell me one thing: the phones at this location are broken. Vons doesn't use their Twitter account anymore, and is minimally active on their Facebook page. They've become just another corporate entity that doesn't give a rat's behind about providing quality, or their customers.
Update Friday, 4/26: Saw the reply from Vons. I emailed them already last week, and NO ONE responded. Not going to bother with that again. Like I said, Vons has become another uncaring corporation. I will be shopping elsewhere.

I simply don’t understand how and why people get hired when they have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. While in the self checkout line I asked the clerk to help me get some AAA batteries and he told me I had to “go get them myself “—really CRIS? And the Manager, Taye was useless in defusing the situation after I got upset about the attitude and lack of curtesy. CRIS was arguing with me and cursing—unbelievable Nasty attitude, shameless!! He really should not be working there. Makes me sad because this is my neighborhood Vons.

On may 5th at 8:35 p.m, I decided to stop by and get a cake , I know it was a last minute trip to Vons. I've been a customer for yrs, I had never had any issues, but this supervisor was so unpleasant you could see he was frustrated , he was on the self checkout cursing because someone took a longer break , I asked him if he could get someone to help me get a cake he said " bakery is close"!! I get it, but he had the nerve to say he was helping me, when he was clearly not able to help at all cause he was all over the place he only had one cashier a bagger and one person who was just standing there, that's ridiculous. When I think of Vons I think of quality but seeing all this shenanigans it was so disappointing !! I thought Vons was better than that. So disgusted with the so call supervisor.

The fact they had more registers open and very helpful customer service from (I didn't get her name) a worker in Self-Help who went out of her way to show me how to navigate the online services provided, earns them another star. Not a local, but I'd consider shopping here on the daily!

horrible experience, visiting this store yesterday 3-3-24. I witness a customer harrasing another customer just for having 2 xtra items in the express lane, I was literally in the other lane counting her items to see if she was over how they made her feel and they were wrong. No one help the situation and even the cashier first started the instigation. Customer service ready suck at this store . They don’t even open any xtra lane to help the situation .

On February 28, 2024, I had an extremely unpleasant shopping experience at Von's, which I believe compelled me to share my dissatisfaction with the level of service I received. My visit was marred by an encounter with a cashier named Milton, who not only displayed unprofessional and rude behavior but also treated me with utter disrespect. Milton went as far as to call me "broke" and yelled at me, causing me to feel distressed and even raising my blood pressure. Such behavior is completely unacceptable and goes against the basic principles of customer service that businesses should uphold.
To make matters worse, when I sought assistance from the operations manager, I was met with further disappointment. Instead of addressing the issue at hand, the manager offered a half-hearted apology, stating that she was sorry I felt the way I did. Furthermore, when I attempted to explain the situation to her, she diverted the conversation by discussing her own personal matters, including her spinal injury. This complete lack of empathy and professionalism only added to my frustration.
As a loyal customer of Von's, I was deeply disheartened to experience such disregard for basic customer service principles. It is evident that Milton's behavior does not align with the values and mission of Von's. Albertsons, the parent company, prides itself on providing exceptional service, high-quality products, and extraordinary value. Unfortunately, my recent encounter with Milton reflects poorly on Von's commitment to these values.
Therefore, I urge Von's management to address this issue promptly and take appropriate measures to ensure that all employees uphold the company's values and deliver the level of service that customers expect and deserve. It is essential for Von's to prioritize customer satisfaction and maintain a positive shopping experience for all patrons. I hope that my feedback will be taken seriously and that Von's will make the necessary changes to improve its customer service.
