I checked the calendar before coming here. We were happy to see that they were serving a Monday lunch. The space is cheery and appears to flow into another “business” from a previous era. The service was friendly, attentive and generous. The petite menu was thoughtful —variety and seasonal, and everything came out fresh (raw oysters, salad ) or perfect temperature (broiled oysters, soup). The flavors were great! Would love to come again when they are open-open and taking reservations.

We drove 2 hours from the Peninsula to have lunch only to be met with a “winter break” sign despite google saying they were open. Call before you go.*I got a nice response and explanation to this glitch and I will definitely try to make the trip again to try your food. Thank you for your replying.

Ambience 4/5Service 1/5Food 3/5Value2/5We came here after a hike in Point Reyes. It’s a cute spot and a nice place to sit.Excited to try the oysters, which were good but $48/dozen. Their prices in general are very high and ultimately not worth it. This ranks in the bottom quartile of dining experiences this year. There were plenty of seats open at 2pm. It took 30 minutes to place an order. There was zero attention and we ran out of water. I asked for more before the meal arrived. I asked again. It finally arrived after we had finished the meal when I asked a third time to the person bussing our dishes.Meanwhile in addition to their high prices (a smash burger will run you $25) they have fees galore!5% for wages3% credit card processing20% for parties of 6 or moreWe left hungry and disappointed. Won’t be back!

I love this place! Oysters are always fresh and delicious. The hamburger on a brioche bun was the best burger I've had in years. Texture and flavor made it something special. My girlfriend enjoyed her sandwich as well.

I’ve always passed by while heading up to Tomales Point or on my way back home, but so glad I stopped in after a recent hike for a bite of great seafood and wine. Got the broiled oysters with fermented Fresno chi, garlic and butter and a beautiful Manila clam chowder with a side of bread for sopping up all the liquid. Well curated wine selection, had the rose and orange wine. Both refreshing.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our family at this lovely restaurant. The service was fantastic and the food was fresh and delicious. So many great choices and a wine list that was especially great interesting and well conceived. Love this place and highly recommend!

The food at this restaurant has moved me to tears on more than one occasion. The food is local and *very* fresh—and always prepared artfully and deliciously (this describes everything from the produce to the seafood). My partner describes the food as “flawless.” It’s a truly special restaurant that would be among the best in any big city, but it’s located here in Inverness. The raw oysters are always impressively fresh, but the broiled oysters are some of the only cooked oysters I have ever truly enjoyed. Any other seafood-based dish is always a slam-dunk. But don’t stop there. We have been to this restaurant four times (twice during the same weekend on our first visit to the area) and the soups, salads, and poultry dishes have never disappointed us.It should be said that the wine list is always affordable and paired well with the food. The staff is warm and kind and they all do a great job.I am a critical person, but the only bad thing I have to say about this place is that I eat too much when I’m there.
