The owner informed us that it was the last day of operation as he was putting all his focus into his brewery, we were sad about the closing but happy for him for sure, and even happier after a couple of good hot dogs too! Good luck to you Grumpy Jeff!

Amazing Burger and Potato ? Salad. Food was way better than expected. If you happen to find yourself in the wee little town of Ione, CA then this place is a must!

Grumpy Jeff's is a Craft Beer and Wine bar that serves a small dinner menu starting at 5pm. We aim to cultivate a place where you can relax at the end of day and enjoy a drink or have small bite. The kitchen is small and not well suited for large groups which helps us keep our customer service focused and engaged. And Yes Jeff is Grumpy.
