I am a Massachusetts real estate business owner who has been in the process of trying to purchase a building using Max Gamboa as a Loan Officer at American Heritage Lending. I have worked with a number of loan officers in the past. I must say that Max has really gone above and beyond the normal call of duty to make sure that my experience as a customer has been a great one. He is consistently contacting me with updates, and checking in to make sure that I always know where things stand and what the next steps are. I am very impressed by his professionalism and dedication to performing a top quality job. I would highly recommend him and his team. I’ve had an excellent experience working with American Heritage Lending, especially with Michael Moss, our Account Executive, and Moniqua Neal, the Account Manager Team Lead. Michael is incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and solution-oriented. He recently helped us revive a file that had previously been declined, guiding us through every step and ultimately helping us close the loan successfully.
Moniqua Neal and the Account Management team have also been outstanding—professional, efficient, and highly organized. Their consistent communication and support throughout the process made a significant difference in keeping things on track.

Total bait and switch operation. Was quoted rates and terms with all information listed correctly on the quote, when it came time to run my credit they told me my credit was much much lower than what is actually true. (Confirmed my actual credit with two other brokers) then told me the previous quote was wrong because of the credit score. Once I called them out on the credit score excuse and gave them proof the story then changed to that they added a “accidentally” added a zero onto the value of the property making it a $3m property Instead of a $300k property. Oh really??? So then why is the quote you sent fully correct with all the right values?? No good answer…. Tried to raise rates and points at the end… no thanks I’ve taken my business to a reputable company.

I had a tough loan that had been turned down by other lenders that Evan Kaplan at American Heritage was able to do for me.
His communication was top notch, I never felt like I had a question that went unanswered. Evan successfully helped me structure, price and disclose my loan with AHL.
Once the loan was in process Gerry Williams helped me keep it moving through underwriting and made sure we hit our target dates. Gerry wasn't afraid to pick up the phone and call me if we needed something, which is huge when lots of people just send an email and consider the job done.
Both of these gentleman are TOP NOTCH, and have clearly been in the mortgage business long enough to navigate tough loans successfully.
I would highly recommend Evan Kaplan, Gerry Williams and American Heritage Lending for any non-QM/DSCR loans.
