Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Unable to talk with a human at the location. They keep directing me to New York, which sends me back to Irvine. Talked with Alfred Mota, who doesn't have a clue on how to help me.

Shooting professionally means I have deal with Canon's service center regardless of if I want to. I have had some great experiences, and some absolutely terrible ones.Canon can see all your gear registered with the company on your account. Yet some of their staff have treated me like an idiot who doesn't know what I'm talking about.The good experiences and helpful service are more frequent, but when it was bad, it was really bad. So, four stars guys...

Canon by far provides the BEST customer service and repairs are completed quickly and you know exactly the cost at time of drop off. I highly recommend you join their VIP service.

I have read many reviews of Canon customer service being sub par. Today I experienced exactly the opposite. I stopped by at 8am and dropped my 60D to have the rubber grip replaced. I was greeted by a young lady as I entered the front desk. I described the problem to her and she said that it would be handled at no cost. She said that the normal repair time would be 5 to 7 days, but she new I wanted it for the weekend so she said it would be available at the end of the day. I stopped back in at 5:30pm and I was again greeted by a young gentleman. He quickly located my camera and mentioned that they cleaned the camera and replaced the grip.This experience was definitely the definition of great customer service!!
