You call Irvine and you get Missouri and they don't know anything about the Chubb product you want to get.They refer you to four Cubb agents - none of them answer the phone. The Twilight Zone - again.

We recently relocated to the USA- we had insurance through cover freight - underwritten by Chubb. Our entire container was contaminated. We had a young guy come out to inspect after emails that went on for weeks. He said “light smell” on some items. The items were so strong they needed to be aired on the verge. We lost everything. Chubb then ducked and weaved and offered us an amount that was extremely laughable and outright wrong.I strongly suggest not using this company, they have a bullish email mentality and use pathetic calculations.Well done Chubb you screwed over a young family who was open and honest with you the entire way through.

Chubb has exceeded expectations. We bought a new house, and decided, based on friend’s experience, to insure both the new house as well as the old, with Chubb. Unbeknownst to us, the new house had a plumbing leak with the dishwasher just after we moved in. By the time we realized (after a subfloor leak), the kitchen was a demo job. Chubb has been awesome, from the initial response (we had 3 people calling to help us in the first 8 hours after the issue reported), and then the assistance of our assigned agent - Michael Fairley (who I hope gets paid more based on this - he deserves it) - was amazing. They say the true measure of an insurance company is when you have a loss - and Chubb delivered. Payments were made promptly and without issue - they were quick to pay and helpful to an extreme. No arguments, no negotiating to make things cheaper for them.We did pay a small premium to insure with Chubb. Very much worth it. They were truly there for us when we had a loss.Great company. Thoroughly recommend.
