No tellers to service customers. Branch manager states that they don't have the ability to accept deposits or payments without a teller. So not one person in the banks either knows how to help, is willing to, or ??? Irresponsible at best.

I got the wrong information from employee Genie Sui, which resulted in me having to pay a hefty fine for my CDS account. When I asked her in front of the manager, she lied and said she didn't remember. The manager Deovi Eduad favored her staff in the conversation passed the blame to me and asked some Ridiculous questions to me. When I asked to submit a complaint the manager Deovi Eduad submitted it in her favour. When I received the complaint investigation call, it was not from Citibank's investigation department but from another local Citi employee. He hung up the phone without me finishing my speech and closed the case. This is how Citi trains its employees. I will also submit my complaint to BBB and all other complaint websites.

This bank sucks. They will only cash Citibank checks for "non members" at 3 locations in OC. They wouldn't even sign me up to be a customer to deposit my $10k check. I'm running around town to cash it as this location and the entire operation is garbage. Poor service and poor rules.

This has got to be THE ABSOLUTE WORST bank in Irvine. I've never been able to get an issue resolved here and I've been a Citibank customer for years. God for it you need anything here --there's only one bank teller so don't ever come in a time crunch. Worst place to do banking!!!

I went to citI bank in Irvine, corner of barranca and culverThe teller was very rude. There was a huge line, people standing in line but the tellers would help those Chinese women who were not in line at all. Finally I had to say something....I stood there for 30 minutes but they were helping those who didn't stand in line at all.I will make an official complaint about this issue to their supervisors....I have never experienced anything like this in any U.S. bank. the tellers are very rude and unprofessional..

Beware Investment Advisors at Citi. Last Dec 2021, citi branch setup my mom to get investment advise. Advisor Anna persuade my mom to invest all her svgs into a Franklin municipal bond fund. Less than 1 mos, the fund dropped over $5k, and by 5th mos, it dropped $16k more than 11%. Noted my mom is 81 yrs old, do not speak English, and has NO grammar school, not any investment background. I filed a compliant to Citi investigation team. What it came back was she was in suitable investment because her tolerance level is "moderate", and investment knowledge is "moderate". How on earth does a 81 yrs old widow evaluated as "moderate" risk + experienced investor? Then I find out the decision of "suitable fit" was based on "new acct form" she signed. Anna asked my mom signed an open account form (in English), computer-typed by her, ck box "moderate" investment exp, and moderate risk. So my mom never knew what she signed, but was told in chinese that it was an open account form.I was present, and I did asked "shouldn't we wait until next year because Fed is increasing rate, and wouldn't this bond fund goes down?" Anna replied, she followed this fund over 20yrs, and it is very safe and will go back up eventually if it goes down one year. So far, my mom has lost $16,000 over 11% in this fund within 6 mos. And I later find out citi advisors receives commission from clients and being year-end, advisors must be desperate to meet quotas. Also, Please be aware there is no such thing as "Compliant dept" because there is no person's name who email you nor contact phone no. (Only they can talk justify they're right, but you can never talk to anyone! ) When you call and file a compliant, they take your compliant and after 1-mo reply your email with some ridiculous excuses that your investment is right fit, it is just your bad luck investing on the market. BE AWARE OF THE AGENT, "ANNA L"She service Arcadia, Irvine, SG valley. I had to trace her 3 branches to find her#.

Yesterday I went to this branch to deposit 2 checks because the app did not work properly. I waited about 15 minutes with several other people. There were only 2 tellers. Both had customers who needed a lot of attention. They just ignored the ever accumulating line of customers like me who had simple transactions and wanted to get on with their daily business. After awhile a woman spoke up and asked for another teller. At that point the Manager came over and threatened her by saying that he could not allow her to raise her voice in "his branch." He told her to be quiet and wait her turn. I'd never go back to this branch. Go to Tustin Ranch. It's much better!!

Terrible customer services, the way how they treated a long term global executive level customer, the lack of banker's knowledge, even to their own system, only the branch manager is okay, but his arrogance is a joke

The one good thing about the branches is it is located right next to my gym so it makes it super easy for me to stop at the ATM. I'm at this ATM often always pulling cash out so it makes it really easy and convenient for me to do security plus there are a lot of other really good shops in the area for you to eat and get other things that you need besides going to the bank What I dislike about this place is it is always closed. It is closed on Saturdays, it is closed on Sundays, and it is often closed during the week as well

Not quite sure why this branch has such a low review because my recent experience here was smooth and pleasant! Came into this branch to open a new account on a Saturday and waited 5-10 mins max for the personal banker to finish with a client before me. We were greeted by Genie Sui and she was very knowledgeable and walked through several options with us. We were able to open up an account and take advantage of the outstanding promotion, all within 20 mins. I appreciate how Genie made the process easy and didn't upsell/pressure at all. By the way, they have free red envelopes to give away at the teller window for the upcoming lunar new year! Thank you for the awesome experience, highly recommend this branch to everyone!

I am here on a Monday at 323 pm dec 20 and was refused service because according to the gentleman "we are closed for 20 minutes because we do not have enough people here right now." So I asked, can I come back in 20 minutes, he says we do not guarantee anything. Come on, it's 1 and half hour to your closing time. Very rude and unfriendly staff.

Been with CITI for almost 20 years. This is by far THE WORST branch experience with absolute ZERO customer service. Everyone is standing around with a thumb up their arses - no one approaches you to try to help whatsoever. And when you finally get some attention, they look at you as if you're an inconvenience to them. Close shop guys, your business mannerism is total crap.

This specific branch atm had "technician difficulty" and stole my money instead of depositing it. Never trusting their atm service again.
