Worst experience ever. During these challenging times and since no one is here they still managed to be rude and act as if they are busy. Doing what? Don't know. Won't ever want to go back here to pick up prescription

This CVS is located off Culver and Walnut and I have been coming here for years since it is conveniently in the same plaza as Mitsuwa, Daiso and Ralphs. Even prior to the times of Covid-19 and social distancing, I have been able to purchase typical stuff like over the counter meds, snacks, sports drinks. I even got Valentines Day candy for my coworkers here. It was already 50-70% off the day BEFORE Valentines Day. What a deal!! Pass forward to current times as Corona Virus disrupts our day to day habits and panic causes people to clear the shelves of toilet paper and hand sanitizer. I can honestly say that this CVS location seems to be doing their best at protecting their staff with face masks and gloves. The store has put an extra table between the counters so you have 6 feet between the cashier. Since the store is limiting the hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol and toilet paper to limit 1, I was able to get these products for my household. I am happy with the 1, and suggests that people just get what they need. I feel like it is important for everyone to be safe and healthy so the disease can slow down. Appreciate the hardworking staff here at CVS to keep us all decently supplied during these hard times. Be safe everyone!!

I purchased 2 Nordstrom gift cards for $100 each. Cashier activated them and I gave them to my daughters for Christmas. Neither card worked. It appeared that someone may have tampered With the packaging to write down the code then resealed it. After many hours with phone calls to CVS and Nordstrom, CVS stated that gift cards are not refundable and that I was out of luck. No refund. Note to self, never purchase gift cards that are on display in the store. Only purchase online or if behind the counter.

I am very thankful for this clinic. Last night I brought two sick children in late. Even though the schedule was full and the system would not register my daughter, the NP agreed to see her anyway. I'm sure she was long over due to go home but she took her time with both my kids and made them feel comfortable. They were not feeling well and had fevers and my son was a handful but she was patient and did not make me feel guilty. I cannot say enough good things. It's was nice to be able to come in and just do everything through 1 person. We didn't have to wait long. And when we were finished the pharmacy had the medication ready for us. Much easier than your traditional doctors appointments.

Customer service is a disaster. Who is running this s*** show? CVS, hire more staff and train them properly.

Go to your Doctor's office for flu shots, NOT Minute Clinic! Minute Clinic does NOT know how to properly submit a simple insurance claim. I spent two days on the phone, with my insurance company and with several members of Minute Clinic's Billing Dept., then finally with a supervisor at Minute Clinic Patient Support, to get their billing error corrected! It was discovered that Minute Clinic's nurse submitted the claim to the wrong insurance plan, so my claim was rejected, and Minute Clinic sent me a bill for the full amount! It is obvious that the Minute Clinic nurses are untrained in processing insurance claims. Ugh, I SMH at the incompetence these days. A real doctor's office has staff that is trained and experienced in dealing with insurance. To say the least.....This was an extremely frustrating experience! I will NEVER again go to any CVS Minute Clinics for any medical services, especially for flu shots!

I was very happy with their service today. I pre-registered online for my appointment and when I got there, I entered my name, my code, and was seen within a few minutes w their RN, Sharon. She was very professional, thorough, and polite. I had been fighting an ear infection and she sent my prescription over to Costco, per my request. I had no idea they were closed on Sunday and when I found out, I called the CVS Pharmacy, they then called the MinuteClinic and I was on hold for a few minutes. They said they could transfer it, so I could have the antibiotics and ear drops this evening versus tomorrow. For me this helped because it was starting to really bother me. When I arrived, I heard someone ask me is all was ok and saw Sharon in front of me and she was kind and went and confirmed w the Pharmacy they had received it. I had also looked at the app, GoodRX, I had downloaded some coupon codes, for Costco and CVS took the codes and it saved me about 35% off the prescriptions (I do not have insurance), which assisted to offset my visit, so all in all, it was a great, precise, short experience. I would definitely go there again and I would recommend it to others. Just read the notes they leave and all should go well. You can set an, ahead reservation, online and it was very accurate for me. They also have a monitor w the appointment times, etc. From other post I read, I made sure to keep in mind of their lunch hour, I pre-reserved my time after their lunch hour. I read everything on their sight, so all went smooth. I read their price range and it was right there, so no surprises. For me, it is 7 minutes from my home, so all in all, I was back home all in an hour, from the appointment. For the prescription, I was in and out of the pharmacy within 20 minutes around 5:30 pm. Also, for the MinuteClinic, they have a monitor on they wall and it reads the appointment times. I will go there again, if necessary and recommend it to family, friends, and neighbors.

Note: Review is only for the Pharmacy I've been going to this location only because it's very near my home, so I've been tolerating the poor customer service and unfriendliness of most of the pharmacy staff. Tonight broke the straw though. I came to pick up a prescription and asked if I can use a coupon for the prescription. I was sent to a different window with an Asian man to check on the coupon. This person checked and said the coupon couldn't be used, so I said I'll go ahead and pay for it. But he said I had to get Back in line Again to pay . I was already in line and now he wants me to line up Again, one person in line felt bad and offer his position in line to me. Now, does that make any sense? The staff working here seem to dislike their jobs and are just going through the motion , they don't like to answer any questions and if they do, they are unfriendly in doing it. I guess the Manager doesn't care about providing good customer service. I Will not be returning here and if you want Friendly Helpful staff I would not recommend anyone coming to this pharmacy.

The nurse practitioner there just now (Sunday sep 15) is by far the rudest bully of a person I have encountered. I had called CVS ahead to see if they do TB tests quickly because I had a small window of time and the gentleman said yes I should be in and out. When I arrived I saw it would be over an hour wait so I asked the woman if there was any wiggle room in the timing since I only saw one person in line and she had the most condescending and rudest way of speaking to me that I will never come to this CVS again. She could have simply said unfortunately this wait time is what it is and people will start showing up or why don't you wait a little and see if we have a no show - but she took it as an opportunity to take our her personal misery and hostile mood on a potential patient. Very shameful that people like that call themselves "nurses."

The pharmacist tonight was very rude. He informed me that he couldn't take my prescription because they didn't have enough time to order it (they didn't close for another hour and a half). He told me I had to go to the 24 hour cvs pharmacy. So I had to go out of my way to the pharmacy and come to find out it will only take 10-15 minutes to get my prescription. The pharmacist was lazy and didn't bother to do his job. Very inconsiderate of the customer. Won't be going there again.

Can I give this place a "0"? Terrible customer service. These employees are not here to help you, but they are here to make you feel unwelcome. Avoid. Even if it's inconvenient to drive to another pharmacy/ convenience store, do it. Avoid.
