During my time with LA fire this credit union was fantastic. Upon leaving the fire department from an injury they straight up kick you to the curb. Won't call you back. Won't educate you on options available for you and your family. Zero tenacity for their clients in times of need. Supper bummed. Have a back up option bank. Trust me The mission statement for firefighters credit union " Our mission: To improve the financial lives of our Fire Family!" It ain't no family here.

Been with them for forever, but If you ever need a transaction cleared up for something volatile like crypto forget it. After 10 failed attempts and costing me THOUSANDS of dollars only to learn employees "missed some steps" I'm so upset with this staff

Melissa Sabel is AMAZING!!! She has been so helpful and communicative through opening new accounts, financing a trailer and refinancing. She’s quick, efficient, helpful and kind. Couldn’t have asked for a better banking experience. We’re in the process of consolidating all of our banking over to firefighters first largely because of our great experience :-) Thank you!

After 17 years in customer service before joining the fire department, I can honestly say ... Incredible customer service and great rates as! If you are eligible to be a member, take the opportunity to open an account and see what they are all about. It's super quick to do and you won't be disappointed!!!

FFCU handled the mortgage for our home, and we have personal accounts with them. Due to the great service my husband and I have received, we recently moved our business accounts to this location (from another bank). The most recent transaction was an auto loan. Sandra assisted us with the loan application, which took about 10-minutes. Underwriting asked for some clarification regarding our income, and we had approval within a day. The loan documents were sent to us via Docusign, and I picked up a check for the dealership within a few hours. Thank you Sandra and FFCU for making our new truck purchase so smooth and stress free!
