Very expensive for what they offer, 50$ deluxe pedicure wasn’t even as good as a basic pedicure, definitely NOT a 10 min massage, definitely NO callus removal (only used a pumice stone and no extra chemical to dissolve the callus or treatment). Lazy cuticle cut, didn’t even clean under the nail or sides. Awful paint job as well. Don’t recommend.

I got my nails done here in a hot pink shade, and within just a couple of days, the color started changing to a yellowish tone. I was out of town and couldn’t come in right away, but when I explained that, they said because I didn’t return immediately, they wouldn’t fix it or offer any kind of discount. This is actually the third time this has happened with their polish, and I’ve been getting my nails done for years and have never experienced this anywhere else. Really disappointing service and quality for something that should last much longer. The girls who originally did my nails were super nice and friendly, but when I came in and asked about them done, the receptionist told me that It was basically my fault because I didn’t come in right away, though I was out of town. And she said that it could’ve been the ocean water or humidity the air, but even though I’ve never experienced, Nails fading more than once

I’ve been coming to the Barranca Happy Nails for years with my girls. We always are happy with their mani-pedis, eyebrow waxing, and facials.

Nice friendly staff members & always takes in walk in customers ?
Cleanliness: Nail salon is always neat & clean. Tubs are Immediately washed after each use.
Stylist: My stylist is awesome! She knows me better than I know myself! Lol! Whenever I get stuck on colors she seems to know what's best. I trust her decisions too! She's great at what she does. Her name is Diane ?

I went to happy nails that’s near barranca parkway Irvine California and the that she made me was ombre glitter gel x and she charged me 120$ with tip and I was Ok with it but the nail that she did lasted only 1 week 1 freaking week and she worked on my nail for 30 minutes and didn’t have enough supply to do my nails perfectly she texted me for another appointment because she was gonna take summer break and I said I cannot but she said I know you’re on a budget but let me know when you can I’m sorry I didn’t say anything about my budget I am not going because of the quality of the service that I got it’s not because of the budget “Happy Nails” nail quality is sucks they don’t have enough supplies they rips your cuticles deep don’t go In there it’s not worth it
And before they do ombre they shouldn’t at least make it look like cover it with beige and the glitter of the ombre and everything was so thin I had to put more this is the more glitter but everything was revealing I wanted to look natural and red style drawing with a charm and they didn’t even have charms to match ??♀️litterly the WORST!
Requested style: I was actually thinking just red nails but stylist said it doesn’t look good in everything I but I wanted but she was recommending what I didn’t want turns out they don’t have the color ???♀️
Stylist: She keeps offering me different styles that I didn’t want to get and saying oh red doesn’t go with everything but I can make it look good she just keep saying it’s not good and did ombre instead cs they didn’t have enough supply

I've been a loyal customer of Happy Nail at Barranca Irvine CA for 4 years and have generally had positive experiences. The salon is clean, welcoming, and the owner, , is always warm and professional. I've particularly enjoyed my pedicures and manicure, which are consistently well done, and the technicians are friendly and attentive.
However, my recent visit for a manicure was quite disappointing due to the behavior of one of the nail technicians (Bet-I might heard her name wrong). She was incredibly rude and unprofessional regarding the tip I provided. Her reaction was uncomfortable and made me feel unwelcome, which is surprising given the otherwise excellent service I've experienced at this salon.
Despite this incident, I want to emphasize that the overall atmosphere and service quality at this location are usually top-notch. The other staff members and the owner make sure that customers leave satisfied.
I hope the management addresses this issue so that all clients can continue to enjoy their visits without any negativity.

This place is an absolute scam. I called to ask how much they charge for a simple pedicure and the lady lied to me and said it was $35. Then, when I get to the salon, I ask for a pamphlet of all their services and they rush me to my seat and I have to ask again for the pamphlet only to find out that the service is actually $30. The lady doing my pedicure tried acting like she was doing me a favor by "giving me a $5 discount" and "including a 5 minute massage" (even though that was supposed to be a part of the service). These people are very sly and use business tactics to make you feel like you're special, meanwhile they're literally doing the bare minimum (and you can see right through their facade). Don't even get me started on my actual nails. Horrible job. She literally placed A DOT of paint on one of my toes and you could still see the entire nail on the sides. Terrible place. Don't go. Save your money.

I went in today with 3 other people for manicures and pedicures. The lady that did my manicure was in such a rush and so aggressive with removing the old gel polish that it was painful and she cut my finger during the process. The most terrible part is that they were not even busy, so I don't know why she was rushing. Quality of the entire manicure was horrible. Polish looked bad. My sister and niece had the same experience. The lady at reception was also lacking in costumer service. Will definitely not be returning.

I've been a customer on and off over the last few years. Ladies seem nice, ok service. Came in for a pedicure today, left very dissatisfied. I was up-charged $10 for a service I didn't ask for nor needed. During the pedicure I told her I didn't want or need the service and she insisted and did it anyway saying "it's included in the price." When bill came, there was the $10 up charge. I always tip very well, and did so today as well. However, I complained to the manager for the "unethical" strategy used. There seems to be a shift in management. Usually quite busy with wait times, lately its been scarce. I feel bad for the women who work here, but AVOID this place if you want upfront prices. Not worth the end product.

I came here a couple weeks ago to get my Gel-X removed and they completely destroyed my nails. I got them done by another nail tech but she wasn't available to take them off by the time I needed them off so I came here. Huge mistake! They soaked my nails for less than 20 seconds and then PEELED off the Gel-X, along with what was presumably the top layers of my nails! Normally, your nails are supposed to be soaked for around 10-15 minutes in acetone and scraped or wiped off because the gel and soft tips should be soft and malleable. They should not be soaked for just 10 seconds and then peeled with tweezers. I paid $15 for a removal and they didn't even put cuticle oil or hand lotion on me. They didn't even offer it for me to put on myself. They just told me to go wash my hands and pay. This is literally the worst nail experience I've ever had in my life. TLDR; a nail tech here ruined my natural nails during gel-x removal and now I have to spend money on products for nail recovery

Worst manicure I’ve ever gotten. She didn’t push back any of my cuticles or cut them. Wanted light pink and she chose a natural polish that barely had any color so she had to put too many coats. Waste of money and time.
