I am a little surprised at some of the reviews that say this place is very disorganized. I have on the contrary had the opposite experience. I have been sent constant communication from them and not only do they call but also follow up with an email. I have both my kids attending piano classes at Yamaha one in a group setting and one private. Now regarding the teachers I have had some great teachers and some not so good. But the Yamaha staff has always worked with me to cater to my needs and requests.

The school is very disorganized and wasted 30 minutes of my time. They told us to wait for previous class to finish, and after we waited for 30 minutes, they let someone else go to the class. I came back early from office and this behavior is totally unacceptable. We are not returning to this place after this horrible experience.

I was trying to see if my kids are interested in music so I took them to yamaha music center. they were nice before they sign you up but after they get all the fees they show their true color.the place is grimmy and the management terrible. I'm not happy and I'll be looking or a new place.

One of the best times I have had while visiting my son. Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable! 4 stars without hesitation!

Wife didn’t end booking classes here. It’s a super challenge communicating with them due to their English skills, so we decided to look elsewhere

I took private lessons at Yamaha music center in Irvine for 3 years with Ms Shoko. She is a wonderful teacher, I highly recommend her!

Yamaha Music Center creates very healthy music learning environment for kids and adults alike. Challanging, yet safe enough to cultivate talents.

This is only for the review for our trial class, the director gets mad if you have any requests or don't sign up at the trial class. Half of the student 4 years old in the trial wasn't even ready to focus, some little one is even crying wanted to leave, some not able to sit still to learn, most of time just the teacher trying to calm the students and got distracted to teach. I won't even to bother to waste money on this class, rather just wait for my kid to join a older class who is ready to learn. The center looks nice and big have a couple classes in the back office and upper level. First impression for the teacher was fine for my kid, just wish they can separate 5 year-old to older class not mixing with preschool age kid.

I personally love this music center & especially Mrs. Grace. She is an awesome teacher, very friendly with kids but also strick with them when the right time comes. My kid starts to learn at this music center for almost 2 years and I saw him improve a lot. Thanks, Mrs. Grace for making him interesting in piano even thou I know kid get burn easily if you pick up the wrong teacher & wrong program.

Your experience depends on who you deal with. Ms Ana is an excellent piano teacher. She knows how to keep the little kids music lesson fun. She uses simple ways to train little kids listening, playing and also their finger position. Can't say enough how good Ms Ana is. School administration has been improved. Make sure to keep your receipt for each your payment. Overall, Yamaha is a good music school.

Kind of old fashioned but it gives good foundation I think. Slow process but affordable.
