It would be nice to hire people who are friendly and professional at the front desk. I came in with my gf, who was only getting a juice, because I wanted to check out the location. I tried to get this kid’s attention at the front desk to let him know I’m just going to take a seat to wait for my gf to get her juice. He completely ignored me. So I just went to sit down then he POINTS ME OUT and says “YOU dont have a guest pass”… no miss no excuse me no nothing just “YOU”. Completely changed my mood and made me feel embarrassed. Will not ever consider LA fitness again.

Its a good gym. Everyone is very friendly and chill. As someone who just moved here ive made some friends here. Only thing i would say is it gets very crowded and also the paper towels in the mens bathroom are almost always out.

The facility is nice enough. Lots of machines and equipment are available. The pool seems a bit dirty a lot of the time. I've found a lot of floating mystery substances on the regular. Additionally, staff isn't quick to act when you need them.A woman was videochatting a man in the locker room (with nude women present) recently, and when I asked an attendant to do something (ask her to stop and / or leave maybe?) She said she'd be there shortly but never moved from where she was standing.That was my last visit.I no longer feel safe at this location, and it's not worth the price.It's often super packed and hard to get a spot on a machine (despite having lots of them) unless you're there early in the morning.So I guess it's not the worst, has pros and cons, but it's not for me.

ALWAYS out of soap and paper towels in the ladies room. Weights are always scattered everywhere. There is usually a machine or two that is broken at all times.Staff is very nice and the manager tries to keep the place in order.

I should review one star comment before sign up one membership in Irvine barranca pkwy location.I suffered an horrible experience regarding the payment refund.Initially, I signed up a membership and charged initial fee($75) and first and last month payment ($79)0n Dec 29th, 2023. After two days, I decided to switch to Active direct fit by using employee discount and switched that plan on Jan 5th.Also the operation manager verbally confirmed I would get a fully refund ($154) in 7 business day. However, I didn't get anything after two weeks, went to LA fitness and talked to General Manager regarding that in person. Unfortunately, they refused to fully refund to me as the time of cancellation is gone.I was not satisfied with how to deal with refund to the client. I'd rather lose those money than never take any membership of LA fitness any more.That's kind of nightmare.

The sales (Edger) is very dishonest, he did not tell annual fee will be charged in 2 weeks, when I find out, I did not get the money back, he first was nice to me but nothing he would do for me. Later on LAfitness will just say I am stupid not reading the agreement. Be careful, I hope I am the last victim of this scam.

Edgar Contreras and Chris helped me out today and I joined. They, both, provided me with phenomenal customer service!They were, both, extremely professional. I just started a new job and Edgar was able to find a promotion that fit my budget. I highly recommend LA Fitness, especially this location. The gym is extremely clean and the employees display amazing customer service skills. LA Fitness really care about their customers. Keep up the good work! Well done! I keep getting calls from this gym at all times of the day to come in about a membership. Numerous times i have told them that i have no interest in coming to this gym and as a matter of fact i do not even live in the state they are calling me from. They continue to disregard what i tell them and continue to call and text message once a week. Todays harassing phone call even went as far as the La fitness employee cursing about the membership and asking how is it possible that they have my phone number if ive never signed up. Apparently he has never heard of someone writing down the wrong # and contacting the wrong person.

I had a disappointing first-time experience at La Fitness, 3960 Barranca Pkwy. I was invited as a potential new member but faced multiple refusals from the front desk staff. she insisted I couldn't enter due to the absence of the person responsible for signatures, even denying me access to the restroom. This treatment was unfriendly and discouraging for someone considering membership. When we tried to obtain the staff member's name and her supervisor's contact information, she reluctantly provided us an incomplete name on a piece of paper.I believe La Fitness should improve its staff training and customer service standards to ensure a more welcoming experience. I'm still considering membership here and hope for better experiences in the future.

bad frond desk service. The lady is the worst I have ever seen for customer support. She is afraid of getting any responsibility and refuse to answer anything. Well, she’d like to provide club’s manager name instead of providing any of information about herself so that complaints won’t follow up. What a smart girl. No worries, LA Fitness will finally receive my true feedback. Enjoy the fitness experience and hope none of people will see her fake smile and fake professionalization.

My friends and I had a horrifying experience at this club, and no one was responsive. Even after canceling our membership, they continued to withdraw around $700 from my account for four months, and no one was accountable. Despite this, they treated us very poorly. They are definitely scammers, and after more than 14 consecutive visits, they gave us very unsatisfactory responses. We were not the first, and we won't be the last. A scamming group is waiting for you at this club.

I tried guess pass with my friend, who is already a member, last month. This agent did not let me go without getting me a membership. He said he will give me a promotion to waive my initial fee and pay 39.99 per month in the future. However, he just got me a 49.99 package, which do not have initial fee. One more thing, I said I lived with my friend. He still did not add me to my friend family plan.
