I ordered a refrigerator on 11/9/2023. And the initial delivery was scheduled on 11/21. Then it was rescheduled to 11/25 due to the manufacturer's delay. Then again rescheduled to 12/14 for the same reason. Now I got a message about delay again to 3/5/2024. I called the BestBuy customer service for each delayed schedule andheard the same reason and confirmed the new delivery dates. Now on the occasion of the 4th delay, I have to criticize several points about my order experience at BestBuy:1. I chose BestBuy to purchase this item among many other stores, including Home Depot, Costco, Lowe's, etc., when all of them offered same price at that time, because BestBuy's delivery date was the earliest, as I sold my current refrigerator and needed a new one ASAP. 2. I could understand there could be a manufacturer's delay, but it should be only very exceptional, and major electronic stores like BestBuy should schedule the delivery of the products as accurate as possible. However, my experience of this order just demonstrates how much BestBuy cares more about the manufacturer than customer. How could I understand when the delivery schedule changed right next day after confirmed the date, and it happened several times in a raw. How BestBuy's order system works to schedule the delivery without considering the product's availability. It's a big curiosity. 3. We can live without television, but hard to live without refrigerator. Where could we store our frozen food after sold old refrigerator based on the original delivery date of the new one, but when it's delivered 4 months later? It's not just as simple as "reschedule or cancel" when it's delayed. 4. The delivery schedule is a covenant with customer, who chose BestBuy among others, and sacrificed their chances to choose a different store who is more sincere to their promises to the customers. So BestBuy had to double confirm the product's availability before schedule the delivery to the customer. The early delivery date without any promise couldn't be a business strategy to attract customers. Otherwise it'll be a just scam.

In the store, I Cannot find an employee to help with questions to buy a lap top. And calling their 800 # or the 612 corporate office or the store phone number is impossible to speak to a live person to complain about the lack of customer service at the Irvine location. Each call ended up transferring me to another country, and each person said they could not take a complaint about a store, and gave me another phone number to call and same thing again. I was given 4 different phone numbers that I called in this process. One rep said she would transfer me to the escalation department, but instead that call was transferred to the shipping department. Rosa in shipping department said she was not able to transfer my call. She says there is no resource to call about a store experience or to reach the store directly.She also said she cannot transfer the call to a supervisor. Evidently Best Buy does not have a process for customer feedback.

This review is not for Best Buy itself. I would still be hanging around waiting for help if Zaid hadn't come by and helped me. All I needed was a keyboard but the people who worked there were hanging around with each other and chatting as the customers wandered around aimlessly looking for someone to help them. Zaid picked a perfect keyboard for me after I explained what I wanted and I was out of there. The whole transaction took less than 10 minutes. So, rather than wait to be helped, ask for Zaid so you can get out of Best Buy and get on with your life!

According to the Best Buy website, transferring music from an IPhone to a usb (flash drive) is something they can help with. I show up when they open, Geek Squad guy says not sure. He does a little research and finds yes we can but he's all alone and I need to make an appointment, they'll download my music library and I'd come back in a few days and it would be done. I show up for my appointment that evening and back to square one, Geek squad girl has no idea why I'm there! Asks some geek squad dude in the back room and comes back with it's not allowed!! Bullshit! Now I don't have our personal favorite music playing at my wife's "Celebration of Life" Best Buy Lake Forrest Blows! Maybe The Geek Squad at the Best Buy in Mission Viejo aren't as lazy. ..........To be continued.........

I think Best Buy is definitely a store to go to to buy appliances and electronics. I've always had good experiences at Best Buy but unfortunately ended up in the Lake Forest location one afternoon. They had a little bait and switch on the nest doorbell cameras. Tag clearly said $249 but when I checked out it was $260. Showed it to Austin the store manager who said yeah I kind of see what you're saying but you got a pay more to have the black one like we have displayed. if possible, go to the Best Buy on Oso Parkway. They always do a great job. There's a guy name Al who helps me he's fantastic.$11, seriously. Thanks for the great customer service.

I had ordered a Geek Squad certified MacBook Air (with charger included) online. After it was delivered, although the laptop worked great, the charger it came with was not only sticky all over but it didn't even work.So I went to this Best Buy, walked over to the Geek Squad desk, explained to the guy the issues and asked for them to replace the charger. The guy tells me that I have to go to the checkout area and return THE WHOLE ORDER (laptop + charger) because I "can't just have them give me a new charger." He wasn't rude but he didn't seem to know what to do.After going in circles 3x w/ this guy, I asked to see a manager. Thank god I did! Their mgr Jesus walked up and I'll tell you- HE LIVED UP TO THE NAME! He was super kind and after checking the order details excused himself and came back 5 min later with a charger that wasn't all sticky AND that ACTUALLY WORKED. He was INCREDIBLY helpful and provided EXCEPTIONAL customer service. He totally turned my frustration into all smiles

Update: 1/19/23Needed a network adapter for my show.Typical BB experience... Went to the store because I don't like giving them my card online. Super annoying dude was not there. Complete lack of customer service. No one is in departments to help you. You check in electronically and wait in a queue. Limited employees in the store to help (4 total, I think, including 2 cashiers).Nope, they didn't have them, or anything close. It said online they had 3.They're going the wrong direction. Remember how there used to be Circuit City?This is what I wish for them. They are terrible.

Greg and Catrina were great help! Greg really took the time to make sure I was getting the right phone for me. He double checked on the different upgrade options that allowed me to carefully consider which phone to get. He even helped me select the right screen protector and made sure I understood the steps for the upgrade. I highly recommend speaking to him! Catrina was patient and helpful by taking over and processing the information part. She also took the time to help my relative! Thank you so much guys!!!

I never write reviews much but these guys deserve it. Thank you, fellas. In a time when you can just buy everything online, having guys who care and take the time to show you all the cool settings and features my new setup had - makes for a great buying experience. I am still waiting for Best Buy to honor the $576.25 Trade-In-Promotion they offered during the black friday/cyber monday. The Best Buy website specifically said as long as my Samsung S20+ turns on regardless of cracked screen they will give me $575.25 for it. I have been to the Irvine Center Drive store 3 times in the past week to resolve this issue and they keep saying "It is Out of My Hands". I called the online support 3 times and they are completely clueless. Very frustrating experience with Best Buy so far.

I came to purchase some headphones for Christmas since this was the only location. who had two left in stock. There's was only two employees who I saw working. The front desk name Conner was the only one working the front desk. He was respectful, kind, punctual and fast past person .He needs a raise literally . Conner thank you, hope you succeed.

This locations geek squad is lazy & will do anything do avoid you. They'll look right at you then walk away. I've been waiting for 2 hours & they will walk away when I walk up, can't even provide me a new receipt for my purchase. S*** is ridiculous.

This store is extremely unhelpful very rude and there are a bunch of employees but they would rather sit and talk to each other then help people find what they need. It's ridiculous defiantly the last time I will be going to this store

If you are doing an order pick up it's ok to come to this store, but if you plan to make an in store purchase choose a different Best Buy. Employees are very unhelpful and they take the pick up line customers before the purchase line (that means everytime someone joins the line you have to wait even longer to get helped, if your initial line was 10 minutes it can be made longer and longer when someone new joins the line at 9 minutes in.) Even when a cash register employee helps you, if someone joins the line they will ask you to step aside while they help someone in the pick up line. Tried to ask a manager about this and the manager spoke 3 words to me before cutting me off to speak to a random customer walking by. Bad customer service especially when they see a mom holding a 2 year old the entire time. There's obviously no compassion in this Best Buy's customer service. Don't go here. Looking at the other reviews it seems many have the same complaint and I've just joined the line of choosing never to shop at this location again. (That's a first for me!)
