This is absolutely the worst Walmart I ever seen, crazy line to self-checkout where out of about 12 machines, only 3 are working. Tried to return an item later today, their customer service closes at 7PM, and it's only Friday. What an incredible place!

This store is huge compared to ones I am accustomed to in the upper MidWest. It was moderately busy at 10 am. Prices for most items are comparable to other stores. Some are less expensive. Produces are a bit more than Korean and Chinese markets in the neighborhood. We were looking to buy a special gel eye drop. These were all locked up in cabinets. You had to push a button on a hanging box for assistance. We did that several times, 3-4 minutes apart but no one came. The pharmacy was near by but the assistant could not help. We had to hunt down a store assistant to open the cabinet. She placed the item in a small locked box that will only be opened by the cashier after you paid. A very elaborate scheme but very inconvenient. Baby formulae are also kept in locked cabinets. One noticeable thing while we were in the store. Every 5-10 minutes a loud alarm sounded. This was quite startling if you are not used to it! Overall quite an experience for us.

My face went from a jolly, enthusiastic grin to the visage of utter despair and desolation when my misguided child wanted to get a troll doll from this store. I felt nausea as I went through that battlefield of a parking lot and had to crawl, military style, into the doors. I felt my stomach wrench as I entered this this POST APOCALYPTIC landscape...and I had no way to defend myself or my honor. Employees were mean to me and made me feel small. :( I was scared for my safety! Maybe he knew that homeless guy in the front...When I finally found that stupid doll it felt like forever to check out. I was able to get through the entire Lion King musical during that time. Anyways, my child got a veneer doll which was super bad and she almost chocked on it. I was about to put gasoline in my eyes when I saw an overly stout older fellow - old enough to know better - without a shirt walk in. Hello, people of WalMart... Get better employees Walmart. I'm highly disappointed, but not surprised.

It's the worst shopping center you will ever see! Bad employees and they are racists and they don't have any kind of professionalism to deal with customers. I visited it today Match 6th 2024 and this will be the last time. Never recommend Walmart at all! That's why Costco is much better, they well known how to respect their customer and they trained its staff well!

This is a great Walmart that has something for everyone. It has food, things for your car, and etc. decided to come here and get baking supplies. It has a self checkout and restrooms. You can also place and order and pick up at the store.

Strike 3! I've been to this Walmart a few times now and it feels like I'm playing a never-ending game of hide-and-seek. Seriously, where are the employees? Are they hiding in the laundry detergent aisle? It's like a real-life mystery. Maybe they should consider hiring Sherlock Holmes to find them. Until then, I'll be wandering around aimlessly, searching for assistance. Back in the good old days when I lived in Culver City, I used to frequent the Walmart in Inglewood. Let me tell you, folks, that place was a Walmart paradise compared to this one in Irvine. The employees in Inglewood were friendly, helpful, and didn't give me weird looks like I was some kind of sideshow freak. Seriously, the self-service checkout is a nightmare. I went in with the intention of buying cleaning supplies, but instead, I ended up with a sense of frustration and an overwhelming urge to scream. And don't get me started on the lady who accused me of stealing! I mean, come on, lady, if there's candy near the self-service, of course, I'm going to buy the shit out of it. But stealing? That's just bananas. Maybe they should install security cameras to catch the real criminals - the self-service machines!

I was at Walmart trying looking around with my sister and we where in the make up section and I kept seeing this female worker following me and my sister around like if we where going to steal something she kept giving us these ugly looks and keep in mind me and my sister are miners I think this was very rude because obviously she was following us around the whole entire time we were there and she absolutely saw that we didn't steal anything and this is not the first time this happens if i could give this negative stars I would

They purposely make it super difficult to return/exchange items. You have to be there before 7pm and stand in a super duper long line with only 1 or 2 employees at the customer service register. They're super slow with weird, unheard of "policies." If you can shop elsewhere, please do and save your life.

Impossible for a store to be so slow and incompetent. No wait, it isn't. 20 minutes in line and management does not care!

Cashier charged us twice for several item and then told us to go to customer service to get the refund - the line for that was endless. The screens at the cash register doesn't display an itemized list either so we couldn't keep track of what was being scanned or not until after you paid, which is why we didn't realize this was happening. worse customer service I've encountered.

Truthfully I know it's not always a good experience going to a Walmart store. Today I had one of the best experiences at this Walmart store. So I was shopping for a Christmas tree for my brother and his family who are living in a homeless shelter and recently fell in hard times. Bring as that I'm in between jobs I only had so much money to work with which isn't much. I asked a Walmart associate which way to the Christmas trees and he went out of his way to take me there personally. I told him my budget and the trees they had left were out of my budget. We looked for a bit and he asked me if I didn't mind who was the tree for. I usually don't open up to just any body and I felt like I could with him. I told him my brother and his family's situation and he immediately told me, say no more on behalf of Walmart I'd like to buy this tree for your brother. He then told me he's the manager and that he's been blessed to work at this Walmart and it's only right to bless others. Man it hit me pretty hard. You only see this stuff on social media. Well Marco I'd like to thank you brother and the other employees who helped my brother with this Christmas tree and toys for the kids. Man you guys are awesome. Ppl like you guys help me know that there still are good ppl in this world. I wish I had a way to repay you bro and I will eventually but know you and yours are in my prayers brother.

Check out was an absolute nightmare. I was trying to buy gift cards for families in need - donating them for the holiday season. They could not figure out how to sell a store gift card. Not even the manager. What retailer in 2023 can't sell a gift card.

If you want good customer service, or even decent service, do not go here. I went Dec. 1,bought an apple gift card-yes, I know the stories, and something must have been wrong because suddently another employee was called up and went to get another gift card. I questioned the second one, both to the cashier and to customer service-twice and was finally told I was scammed, out of luck call corporate or apple. I did. Apple said the card in question had been reported as fraudulent 6 mo. ago and walmart should have taken care of it on Dec. 1. I went to talk to the manger who said he'd look into it and call me back. That never happened. I finally went to the police, who went to Walmart and talked to manager and loss prevention guy, who said they'd set up with customer service for me to get refunded Tues. Dec. 12. I show up, customer service knows nothing, no one to be found who talked to police. I get some grudging team leader who was just rude and did not want to give me money back. I kept threatening to call the police officer, and since it was a $100 card, you can bet I wanted my money back. He finally did, with a really bad attitude, and said "well we're taking care of it now." Yeah 11 days later from a run-around with Walmart and their corporate number. The only one who had any good info and suggestions was the Apple lady and then the police office. Thank you Irvine PD! No thank you, Walmart. Bad customer service all around! If I could do a "0", I would.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have gone here way too many times. I hate it every time. But with gas prices I don't want to pay more to drive further. They closed the nice one. I try to get most items elsewhere. But some things I can only find here. The customer service is non existent. They do, what they call in the retail industry, plugging. If they run out of your favorite item you won't see it again until they run out of the less favorite items around it. They just spread out the products into the empty spot. When items break and spill, they only clean the floor, not the items around or the shelves around the break/spill. I've grabbed too many laundry supplies or food jars that are all sticky from no pride in work. Instead of beefing up security they treat EVERYONE like thieves. You waste your time waiting for the ONE person assigned to open the glass for the entire store! Nothing is ever where it's supposed to be. They need management. Not the team they have now. They don't handle any issues or the store and employees wouldn't be so terrible . I'm in management. If I saw this store listed as a reference, I would not hire
